Delicious food, nice ambiance & view, and great service! Prem was serving my table and he was friendly, prompt, and helpful. All the food was tasty, but my most favourite dish was the ac/dc sushi, which is a fried roll. It was a great dinner experience, highly recommended!

Would recommend as a great chat, drink and munch spot. View was great, staff were approachable and friendly. Prices are a little steep but expected. Food tastes great and loved every single bit. Drinks were interesting and worth trying.

My second time for the Saturday bottomless brunch, it’s one of the best priced boozy brunches (and available on Saturday!!). I tried their sake on my first time and prosecco more recently. The food options are more than enough and the views are amazing. The noise volume towards the end of brunch shows that people are happy :)

We started at the rooftop bar, ordering some drinks and gyoza. The view was awesome but the music was too loud. Dinner was a disappointment. We were served the cooked food:grilled pork and wagyu beef first instead of sashimi. The rolls came after and followed by the premium sushi . Grilled pork is pretty normal but the wagyu beef is tough and it actually smells. Sakura Salad is not great too. The rolls that contain salmon also tasted fishy. I think we ordered Ac/DC dynamite, golden age and a beef roll. If you really want to try, order the AC/DC and beef roll. Most of the sashimi also tasted fishy and the serving size is also quite a dismal. Overall, there's not much of service unless you ask for it. The view is great but the overall experience is like eating foodcourt japanese food but 4x the price. 4.3 rating on google is overrated.

Still my favourite Japanese restaurant in Singapore, even after all these years. Kinki has never failed to impress 👏 me! Please do make a reservation though, as they are mostly fully booked even on a weekday. Delicious cocktails, fairly decent sake selection and of course not forgetting the amazing food with a breath taking Singapore's Marina view. Great interior design & decor of the restaurant, there is always gonna be something to look at apart from your company (that's for sure)!

Went with the family for a weekday Birthday lunch. Food and drinks did not disappoint. Fresh sushi/sashimi and a variety of set menu options. Cocktails and Sake were excellent as well. A little something for everyone that enjoys Japanese cuisine. Service was as good as their food/drinks and came in a timely manner despite the venue being quite busy. Wish I had gotten our waiter’s name to give him a mention as he was fantastic.

Had an amazing experience dining at Kinki for a birthday celebration. Service was top-notch — Prem was attentive and went above and beyond with a complimentary birthday cake and drinks, lovely chat and even explained the different types of umeshu to us. Food was good as well, special mention to the Dragon Chaser which is a must-try. Ambience and music were a vibe too, will definitely be back!

Had a great experience at Kinki Restaurant , which serves different food from Kinki Rooftop. We ordered the lamb, grilled squid and salmon belly. All were very well cooked and presented. We tried the two Signature cocktails She's so Unusual and Tears of a Geisha, which were made by their bartender. Water is complimentary. The fast paced music added to the informal chic vibe. Overall a very nice birthday dinner experience

Whatever cocktail you order comes green and glittery, they really weren’t great at all, so definitely would not recommend the drinks! Was very expensive for what it was, food was okay, and tried to look much more fancy than it was. Relaxed atmosphere which was nice but certainly wouldn’t go back! Also told them in advance on booking it was a special meal for our honeymoon in singapore now I’m not expecting anything free etc but they didn’t even put us on a decent table just a wobbly one right in the middle of the room with no mention or celebration at all! Kinda had a bit of a can’t believe bothered vibe! After dinner we were told we could go up to the bar on the roof top and it wouldn’t be closing for another hour so finished our drinks quickly to go up but when we got upstairs they told us it was closed and last orders had already happened, so they don’t even know their own opening times , was annoying as we would have just stayed sitting downstairs longer and enjoyed our drinks rather than rushing them!

The food is superb especially the taste of the scallop is uniquely delicious. And thank you Kinki for the lovely crepe cake on the house for my graduation! In addition, thank you Prem for being attentive in serving our table and for the additional salad dressing!

First time to Kinki, my hubby brought me here to celebrate my BD. We were seated with the best view, the restaurant ambience was great and all staff are friendly. When my hubby mentioned that it was my BD, they offered me a complimentary dessert at the end of my meal-Hokkaido Milk Crepe. All the food we had was delicious and exceed our expectations, the sashimi is so fresh, Dragon Chaser is a must-order-item, strongly recommended! One of their staff Prem recommended us with few sake choices for complimentary tasting, we felt so pampered with his good service and warm chat we had with him. After dinner, Prem brought us up to the rooftop bar for our 2nd round to enjoy the beautiful night scenery and music🥰. We will return not only for the delicate food, but also for the overwhelmed services by their staff especially Prem. Thank you Kinki for giving a wonderful BD night!

Always happy coming to Kinki! This time the host lady gave the table with the best view, and complimentary drink, probably because I mentioned in reservation it was my 10-year dating anniversary with my husband. I didn't expect that, so I appreciate it. Food is delicious as always. Atmosphere and view of the bay is comparable. Later, we went to the rooftop Bar to enjoy music and drink 🥰

Another Triple Plus affiliated restaurant worth the visit. Staff were courteous and friendly, with no hint of dissatisfaction in their work. Did not know what to expect but their food were delicious. Ambience was great and gives off a classy touch. However, I personally dislike the Cassava Nachos as the flavor does not match the menu.

Had dinner here again after many years. The service standards and quality of food/ drinks have constantly been impeccable and impressive, even after all these years. Special mention to Shah and manager Amirul for going above and beyond to deliver top-notch service to my wife and me on our anniversary dinner. : )

Great place to catch up with friends! The cuisine is Japanese fusion food. I think the food was above average. I especially loved the salmon and the AC/DC sushi roll. The pork nuggets thing is ok only, can skip. Service was good and hardworking but I felt that the staff was over diligent in refilling our water eg they refilled even if the cup was 80% full. Overall good place! The rooftop bar was quite noisy though but if you’re the kind who loves the loud clubbing music, this is a place you’ll love.

Food, drinks, view, music - the whole package! Would definitely recommend getting a reservation and coming to Kinki Bar. It has one of the greatest Marina Bay Sands View. The food was also surprisingly delicious for a bar. Overall would come again. For drinks I’ll recommend the butterfly pea one - taste of alcohol is not too strong.

Came here on a Friday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had made a reservation for 6.15pm so it was still quite empty when we got there. The place started to fill up after 7pm. The service was great. They were pretty attentive but there were times they just forgot to refill our green tea. Food is very good. However this place is on the pricey side. Good place if you want a fancy date.

Prem is an exceptional member of the staff who went above and beyond to make our special occasions for my mother truly memorable. While the food had its ups and downs, I'd suggest avoiding the papa fan, chamusi, and pork jowel. On the bright side, the beef dishes were a highlight, and the salmon was simply exquisite! However, what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service it offers. It's the service that truly shines and makes the overall experience exceptional.

Went for the weekend brunch last Saturday. The only complain is about the service. It looked like they were short staffed. Of the 4 servers only 1 lady served seemed happy to be there that. Off the 4, 2 looked like senior staff and 2 either trainees or junior staff. The lady on the senior staff was really sweet and seemed to have a good attitude and served with a smile through out. One of the junior servers, Prem looked us us when we tried to get their attention but totally ignored us, he would come to the tables around us but never us. This happened with other guests on our table too. I did mention it to the senior male staff member. The junior lady server looked grumpy throughout the service, but was Ok. The male senior staff was good throughout the service, but at the end he asked us for last orders and we ordered some ice cream to try the flavours instead of just ordering and then wasting it. We liked a flavour so asked for some more. He could have told us very politely that the kitchen is closed but let me check. This gentleman reprimands us like we are a bunch of kids and says thats why I asked you sometime back if you wanted anything else and that it was the last order. I was really taken aback by his attitude. We made a request not a demand. And as it is the holiday season on that particular saturday the restaurant was not full as it is otherwise. And yes, I have to mention that this is not my first time at Kinki's, but this time the I think their service staff needs some training.

Celebrated new years at the rooftop, paid lots of money for this "view", super crowded and terribly loud music with no place to dance and no way to talk. Overcrowding was obviously planned, as they had only 4 chairs for 6 people. Not recommended. Utter waste of money, any other free place around would have been a better idea.

We were pleasantly surprise with Kinki.. came for the atmosphere & Marina view but were actually quite happy with the food. Favorite dish for me was the Cowabunga & their Ohmi Wagyu was lovely.. however not all dishes were good but overall we were happy..will definitely visit again 😉

Been here several times, and the food is exceptional as always! We love the service by service staff Prem! He is very proactive in checking what food I’m having because I’m expecting, and goes the extra mile to inform the chef to fully cook my food even without me asking - totally appreciate that! Despite the restaurant being filled with diners, he does not compromise on his service and keeps a look out for us to ensure everything is okay. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant - good food, nice ambience, view overlooking MBS and dedicated service staff!

Nice ambience with breathtaking view. The food was generally good and servers were very attentive. The squid was cooked well and not too chewy which was a winner for me. The "Golden Age" was also very well balanced and melts in the mouth. Unagi claypot had crispy charred rice on the bottom, wish the serving was bigger.

A must go to place for Japanese fusion food with amazing MBS view and ambience. We were greeted and served by the most friendly and attentive staff, Prem. Food tastes good but slightly overpriced, it’s expected because of the location and quality of the food itself. We were lucky enough to get 25% off for birthday discount, so definitely worth the visit!

If you're looking for good Japanese food, look no further! The food here is awesomely wholesome! Variety and taste is superb for Japanese food in Singapore! These are the food I've ordered! 1. Salmon & Ikura Don 2. Wagyu Foie Gras Donburi 3. Wagyu Garlic Teppenyaki The service here is good 👍 and the staff is very friendly, engaging and prompt to customers all around based on my observation. They even adjusted the lighting for me to take these photos! 📸 😁 Food price is slightly on the higher side but for the food and service, I definitely believe its fairly priced! Nice food, mixed service, but now attracts groups of obnoxious drunk English expats who are only there to get drunk.... This place used to be amazing but the service is all over the place and they now seem to be attracting groups of obnoxious English and Aussie bankers/expats who are there to get drunk on the freeflow prosecco/beer/sake in whatever order they come and act like they're at a football match. In this case they were shouting and screaming, exploding beer bottles, throwing food and drinks around, standing on chairs, undressing and basically making the family next to them leave. I told the staff that they needed to have a better door policy and kick people out when this obviously happens but instead the tables around this group left instead and this drunk group were sick all over/around the toilets. Not what I expect from Kinki. This with only limits of 5 per table too...if they had anymore it wouldn't be a place anyone would visit. You guys are going to get the wrong reputation if you keep letting this happen. This is not the exception, I have been here before when this happened with larger groups too..... There is also a lack of vegetarian options with none on the main course list. The staff are mostly lovely (some need to smile more...) but they seem overwhelmed and I had to ask several times for items ordered and we got other people's dishes and they go ours.

Food is cold and not expected good as desired. Late delivery and missed out the sake even did previous follow up. No complimentary sake cup as verbal promise. Quite disappointed.

This would be the place I take people when I want to brag about Singapore. Absolutely the prettiest rooftop bar view I've seen and the vibe was very nice with a mild music from the live DJ.

Colleague recommended this place for Saturday brunch and would say we were not disappointed by a single thing. Free flow prosecco and amazing Japanese food. Every dish we had was delicious and highly recommend this place.

It's like bringing the restaurant home

If you want a quiet and relax dinner with friends or family, this is not the place to go. It’s noisy and everyone moving around hurriedly. Services were on point, fast and efficient. As for the Japanese fusion food, the portion was big. I had the Chirashi Don that cost $48 a bowl. It was a huge bowl. I couldn’t finish it. As for the freshness of the fish and prawns, they were fantastic, succulent and juicy. The sashimi slices were exceptionally thick, giving me a “tougher” time to savor each slice. The Foie Gras Chawanmushi was sublime, the eggs were especially soft and the foie gras was exceptional. Overall, a good place to go for a dinner with a friend or a member of your family or even a colleague.

Dine at the Kinki Restaurant at Customs House. Ambience and View were great, a good place for both group party and couple night out. I ordered the Wagyu Foie Gras Don, its was pretty good except that it was too oily, the dish need some citrus or sourness to cut thru the strong taste. Wifey got the black cod which was better. The appetizer, crab century egg on toufu was actually the best dish but that is only if you love the strong century egg taste. Great sashimi too! When I go to Kinki, I go for the rooftop bar after working hours and I enjoy it. This time I tried the restaurant for lunch. I would say it was very disappointing. Doesn't worth the expensive price. Premium price but low quality. The taste is nothing authentic. We paid $27 for 2 pieces of sushi completely soaked in sweet sauce. Salmon maki was served with tartar sauce. It took very long for the foods to be served

Delivery worked very well, food was so delicious! Our absolute favourites are the pomegranate miso black cod, spicy edamame and the miso soup. Amazing like dining in! Thank you so much for having the Kinki-experience at home during CB.

Loved every minute of it. The salmon is out of this world. And kinki style okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza) was near divine with chunks of Hokkaido scallops, pawns and streaky bacon that's generously topped with bonito flakes. So much texture and taste in every bite. Also loved the foie gras chawanmunshi. The egg custard was just right! Will be back soon

A wonderful place with awesome view at the bay. Went there on a Saturday and saw part of the flying display during Singapore National Day Parade Rehearsal with fireworks in the bay. Beside the fantastic location and view, food was awesome but the price was a little on the high side. We tried the following: 1) Pomegranate Miso Black Cod - Thumbs Up 2) Vegetarian Okonomiyaki - Thumbs Up 3) Hokkaido Milk Crepe - Thumbs Up 4) Salmon Skin Maki Roll - Thumbs Up and the crispness of the salmon skin makes me drool taking about it now 5) Ocean Salad - Not too bad It was our wedding anniversary and the restaurant provided us with 2 glasses of white wine which was a nice gesture from them. Recommended to try this place out for those who enjoy Japanese cuisine.

Dinner with family Recommended by a friend. Food is good and fresh, but service is average. If you are looking for quality of food, worth to come! Starter: Tofu with century egg, surprising is yummy. You won’t taste the century egg at all. Maki: we ordered three with the chef’s recommended. All are good. Sashimi: Ninja Sashimi, 75/pax. Costly but all served fresh and high quality. Thing to know: Reservation is needed, and need to release table for next dinning slot.

Nice view on the rooftop. Food is ok. As advertised, they are Japanese with an urban attitude. I went in and ask for our reserved table and the first response was "I don't know" then give me the face when I am trying make a joke.

The rooftop bar is usually crowded and service is slow. Prices are the usual CBD prices, and need to shout over the music. Great location and views tho. I would suggest OVEREASY for a more quieter experience.

This is a rooftop open space bar. Usually over crowded with no space to walk so I would suggest to book a table before hand. Drinks ar enot cheap. The service is okay and because there is so much crowd I think it gets really hot even if it is in open. The view is pretty nice from here. I would prefer this place in a quiter time for a nice dinner.

Ok let's start with the good stuff, the Sake is good and the bar staff are friendly and helpful. However the bar is super smokey so if you are not a smoker just avoid it. The restaurant is poor, the staff are not very helpful. The menu cant be amended because everything is pr prepared???? The mains are a real disappointment. And I have no idea where they got their idea for okonimyaki clearly not japan. Very disappointing, there are much better japanese restaurants in Singapore.

Terribly managed. Had a party with 70 guests this Saturday for my 30th birthday, had reserved space for 40 at 6:30pm and had a 3 friends book tables for 10 beforehand. When we reached I was "laughed" at by management and given 1 table and grudgingly given 1 decent long table and a small one for a group of FORTY people.. when the place was half empty. But even along our tables they insisted on not moving the other people nearby to the empty tabels despite my reservation coming through. When asked the management was extremely rude, even when we were doing them a favor filing up their venue on a non-peak night given its in CBD and with Corona scare happening. I was insulted by their servers taunting me asking me 3 ties inf I wanted to order drinks since I ordered snacks and was planning to buy some bottles later in the night.. when more guests arrive. So I decided not to buy the bottle just because of their ride attitude. Throughout the night I had my guests complain of nhkw unreasonable and rude the management was. Other friends who made the reservations also given same treatment. Ridiculous. Absolutely would've spoilt my birthday and the worst experience I've got in Singapore. I have held large parties for 4yrs and this is the only place that coulfn tnahandle it and we're SO rude to laugh at multiple guests. Shame. Only thing giving you 1 star so the view

Quite a murky and dirty place. Tables are a little sticky and the chairs are visibly dirty. Food is average and not worth the price. I ordered some chirashi where the sashimi was warm in fact the whole place was way too warm. I was there for a weekday lunch. For the price, I’d go to a better quality Japanese place i.e. there are better places for the price.

We were served by Vickie. He was very attentive and friendly. My girls and I enjoyed ourselves there. We had the Yusheng and it was splendid! The rest of the food was fine no complaints. My only gripe with this place is that there’s no shelter so we had to brave the rain to get to the restaurant.

First time visiting! Tried the Cowabunga, AC/DC, Lobster & Pork Jowl - everything was really good!! Our server, Prem, really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable - providing recommendations and detailed explanations of each dish and even blessing us with dessert! The hospitality greatly added to our dinner experience 😊
