👍 Food was alright. Parking is quite difficult. Get the chicken pesto it’s light and worth it. Assam bee hoon also not bad. Drinks are normal. Looks like more of a lunch and dinner place. Price is reasonable. Definitely a brunch place. Perhaps the owners can consider lowering the amount of menus ite... People often mention chicken, good,

Chicken pesto is really tasty! The avocado chicken with bonito flakes surprisingly blends well. And the coffee here is awesome. But we had a small issue—the chicken wasn't fully cooked. Thankfully, the chef cooked it again for us :)

Chanced upon this on google and loved this place! Will definitely be back. Food, drinks, ambience was excellent! Beef stew was my first choice but it wasn’t available for the day. Drinks are very well crafted, similar to that of a bar 😊

Had lunch with family today at The Bread Shop, it is located nearby Kovan station which takes approximately of 5mins to walk there from Exit B via Simon Road. For drinks, we ordered a tea pot of Earl Grey Tea ($7), a glass of Lavender Lemonade ($7) and a cup of Cappuccino ($3). Overall, the drinks were fine. For the main courses, we ordered Smoked Duck Breast with Mash & Salad ($18), Breaded Fish & Chips ($15), Pulled Beef Burger with Potato Wedges ($18) and Pesto Mushrooms Sourdough Sandwiches with Potato Chips ($15). Rating for Smoked Duck Breast: 3.5/5 due to its portion is not big and the mash given a bit little but taste of the duck breast meat is quite good. Rating for Breaded Fish & Chips: 3.5/5 due to its fish is not tasteful enough if it is not dipped with the mayonnaise and the fries were quite salty. Rating for the pulled beef burger: 4/5 due to the taste of the pulled beef is sweeter than expected but the bread is fine. Rating for the pesto mushrooms sandwiches: 4/5 due to its portion is just nice but the potato chips should be replaced with mash instead.

Food was average. Came and had the lunch set meal and was given a free matcha brownie (if you show a student card). Fish and chips: best item we ordered from the lot. Chicken chop: chicken was tender but mushroom sauce tasted diluted and carrots were rock hard. Onion rings and chicken fingers: onion rings were nice and crispy but chicken fingers were tough. Matcha brownie: if you take a look at the photo, the edible flowers were wrinkled up already. We tried the brownie and it was quite hard. Did not finish it in the end because it tasted like it had been left in the fridge for a while. Mocha: very watered down. Homemade lemon tea: this was yummy and not too sweet. First time coming and this is what we’ve tried and my honest review. Maybe other items on the menu taste better since food has been given good reviews so far by others.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. The Expresso here was good, served with warm expresso cups. Comparable to Rome's expresso I must say! 4 out of 5 stars! The presto chicken and egg mayo croissant was delightful with the apple salad. Definitely will be back for more expresso and try out more of their food menu! Visited 2nd time.. had their rosemary roasted chicken! It was good flavourful abd crispy! Hazelnut latte was great and expresso served never disappoint. Warm and thick! Loved it! Update: Nov 2022. Had their fine toffee nut latte and expresso. Excellente! Had the duck breast and morn breakfast platter! Great food indeed! Visited 8 Jan - had the breakfast and the yogurt parfait. Both were great! Update- visited 17 Aug. Had the rosemary chicken again and the taste was just as good. Stew beef was delicious. Coffee great as usual. Staff were very attentive!

Food was alright. Parking is quite difficult. Get the chicken pesto it’s light and worth it. Assam bee hoon also not bad. Drinks are normal. Looks like more of a lunch and dinner place. Price is reasonable. Definitely a brunch place. Perhaps the owners can consider lowering the amount of menus items to only the good stuff. Place feels under staffed.

Cozy cafe - decorated with cute soft toys - with decent food. The best item we had was the pesto chicken croissant which was yummy and better than the scrambled eggs on sourdough bread. (The latter was a tad dry and needed some sauce or mayonnaise on it.) Coffee was not bad and good atmosphere.

Food is good!! Their slow cooked beef served with bread at the side is so yummy. Their breakfast items are more so so IMO but their bread was good. Didn't try their coffee yet maybe next time. Their apple crumble was also good, served with ice cream. Price was reasonable and they didn't charge gst and service charge. Will come back again for sure.

👍 Classic taiwanese dishes at pocket-friendly prices of $6: 🍜 𝐎𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐚 - Slurp-worthy with its thick savory sauce, enhanced by the addition of tangy vinegar. 👍👍 We have been enticed by a wide variety of food reminiscent of the good old days to be frequenting the hawker on the 2nd floor several times a week. 🫤 Super expensive. Knew this stall nasi lemark is very expensive. But this time is far too much. No matter how I calculated with the price they put up I still cannot tally the amt they charge. Ask them, so rude and ignore me. This will be the last time I go n buy. Will blacklist this stall.
