Capitol is an upscale hotel/cinema/shopping centre in the City district. It has Kempinski hotel on top. The former Capitol Theatre is now a cinema hall. It also houses Wu Pao Chun bakery from Taiwan at level 1, Sichuan Alley, Keisuke Ramen, Punggol Nasi Lemak at level 2, and Balan indian vegetarian at basement. There are several affordable eateries right before the entrance to Cityhall MRT.

A low traffic mall although well located and connected directly to Raffles City and City Hall MRT. Not certain what the mall is planned to be or positioned as but certainly it lacks identity with pretentious fake floral arrangements hanging from the glass ceiling trying its best to mimic some European Christmas market. Actually it’s has good restaurants at the arcade level especially the La Scala Ristorante 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 which is managed by the Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. Capitol Theatre is the most Instagramable cinema in South East Asia but is under utilised, maybe should just open as a normal cinema 7-days a week to attract traffic. The basement levels are rather disconnected to the street levels due to poor positioning of the escalators at a corner.

Nice place to dine with a touch of romance in the dome. The booking fee is slightly on the high side for just a few hours. But it is worth the money when you have the right companion! Great for those who want to impress their loved ones for a unique dome dining experience ( with take-away).

Interesting place, quite happening at Christmas time. There is a big Christmas tree outside and marketplace with Christmas theme. Small stores there are selling Christmas decoration, etc. There is also small dome for kids to play with snow inside. I didn't see how much on that, but there is paynow sign outside and seems like need to pay for kid to play. Also outside the capitol theatre, group of people are running fitness outside and burned their calories. They said can burn up to 1000 calories per hours. I visited on night time, the Christmas light was great - outdoor. Would visit again to enjoy the Christmas celebration. They are having same theme between Capitol and Chijmes. I saw the same sign when visiting both places at that day. I was looking at the ice skating ring, it was at Chijmes instead.

Don’t fancy the cult Kingdom City hogging public spaces to drum up more attention on themselves. Odd to observe them not wanting to use their rental theatre but choose to block doors for people to walk in and out. Not cool.

Didn't find the Bitcoin machine I was looking for. The place is hard to get around because the internal structure of the building is so confusing. The person at the desk wasn't around to help us with our questions and the directory was not to be found. I was also hoping for a variety if stores, but the variety if rather lackluster. I wish I had a better and more pleasant experience since this place is new and we were looking forward to it. At least there was a food republic there, I think that's the only place that gets more regular customers.

With the City Hall MRT station right at her doorstep, this high-end retail space offers the opposite of most malls; the crowd. The popular Food Republic no doubt will bring many during lunch hours, but this mall is mostly peaceful. There are many empty store front with leasing advertisement, giving an indication that the rent is (obviously) high and/or the management has very specific retailers in mind.

The car park entrance is searchable by Apple Maps. The spiral entrance links you directly to B3. Quite a clean car park. Fee is $2.45 for first hour on weekdays.

A very historic piece of landmark in Singapore and now turned into a hybrid clutter with hotel, residence, theatre, dinning and shopping complex. It has its very own style and atmosphere that nowhere where in Singapore can replicate. I love the very much quieter part of this nostalgic compound, sit in behold for a nice chilling afternoon with a cup of coffee and a piece of pastry. For lunch I like to eat out with friends at Freda for their nice pork knuckle, at the basement are many smaller eateries that you can choose from. There is also a very popular Indian restaurant that is always filled. There are also various Japanese cuisine to choose from. Of course there is the flagship and famous Taiwanese Boulanger which has awesome bread and pastries in there. The outdoor front porch constantly have Popup markets or events which is refreshing.

There is now an underground linkway from city hall mrt to capitol and it is also linked to Adelphi. In the past it was necessary to walk on the ground level and cross roads, carry umbrella when it rains but now it’s not necessary. So great work for the underground linkway to cut through to these malls from mrt and back to mrt again.

Dome dining at Capitol Piazza, outdoor. This is a good concept as each have individual dome. We have been here twice. Its good especially during this pandemic as no one be sharing the dome. We bought food from Berthold to eat at Dome. A great dining experience.

Walked pass this 喝上引 prawn noodle store at the link way to city hall, near the carpark lift. The prawn noodle soup is using Penang prawn noodle soup base with a kao kao (thicker) taste, very flavourful yet not fishy and over power by the fried shallot taste. Love the shabu shabu pork belly, it was a genius way to have it in a bowl of prawn noodle where the fatty part from a usual cut chunk pork belly, this way is much better to cut down on the fatty feeling and tasteful to coat with the prawn soup. Shoud give it a try.

Christmas Carolling with voices of Singapore at the Capitol Singapore Singing Tree. The outdoor area is very welcoming. Really enjoy this place with Christmas Market. There are many stores that you can browse and probably buy some gifts for Christmas too. Do come by for snow play every 30 mins from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Iconic building built in the late 60s. Watched several movies there back on the day including The Empire Strikes Back. The street facing retail units used to be anchored by Magic Wok and Breadtalk; now they're mainly high end horologists. As a concert venue, the Capitol Theatre is admittedly small giving a more intimate & informal setting with good acoustics.

Very spacious and comfortable mall. I always enjoy my visits there. Only complaint is that the driveway to exit the carpark is extremely narrow….

One of the many malls here. More often used as a through way as compared to shopping. Didn't find anything fanciful. Seemed almost sterile and stale. For me, it seemed to lack colour and appeal.

Capitol Theatre is a historic cinema and theatre, an architectural and luxury lifestyle gem in the heart of Singapore's civic and cultural. It was adjoined to four-storey building known as the Capitol Building. The Capitol Theatre was considered one of Singapore's finest theatres in the 1930s.

Great food joints under one roof. Well connected to citi hall MRT and Funan mall which has number of shoping outlets. There is something for everyone. There is a Daiso on level 2 in Capitol as well. Plus nearby places like clark quay are at just walkable distance as well.

There's nothing much here~ Except for the delicious Ponggol Nasi Lemak (recommended), Fong Guan noodles, and nice but expensive restaurants on level 1 at the Capitol Piazza (: The rest....nothing much. Most of the food places or stores kept changing.

Parking rates has been updated as shared in the picture uploaded. Lots of parking space on a weekend but just note that the sign can be a bit confusing as they put “more parking” together with “way out”. Let me explain: when you enter the carpark you’ll be at B3, B4 is for resident, then there’s B5 and B6. To exit the car park you need to drive to B6 before you can exit the mall so if you park at B3, you need to drive to “more parking” aka down 3 levels, before you can exit 🤣🤣🤣

We visited Branche Japanese Hair, nail, eyelash salon at B1 for hair service. Excellent service that is hard to find even in other top notch hairsalon. So pleasant, so soothing. It was like in a spa. Like that it is a one to one service unlike other salon where their stylists etc hop from one customer to another. Prices are very reasonable for such impeccable service. 1st time visit gets 30% discount. If we bring a customer, both get 30% discount. Definitely will go back repeatedly as we plan to buy their package.

Horrible experience with the security guard (Bald guy, only for the identification). He had been very rude to me and doesn't know how to treat people. I would advise the management to give proper training or check during hiring these people.

Quite quiet and lesser crowds even during the weekend due to the Covid-19 regulations. It's great photogenic place to take photo for your Instagram or your new profile picture. Located directly opposite St. Andrew's Cathedral and 5min walk away from City Hall MRT

Capitol Mall is providing all types of shops at one place like supermarket, hair & beauty, jewellery & watches, lifestyle, fashion & accessories, restaurants & coffee shops etc.. I went there for food only but bought a lot of stuff for Xmas decorations 🎀. It's connected via City Hall MRT.

A redeveloped building with a spanking new theatre for films and performing arts, there are plenty of restaurants and shops scattered around the building. There is also a private roof terrace and some residential suites upstairs. The Capitol building and theatre are 2 separate buildings but are considered the same location.

Great place to hangout. I was there for Christmas Eve to watch the singing Christmas tree and to enjoy some artificial snow. I won't say the best compared to 2019 but they managed to work it out even though during COVID-19 restrictions. There are coffee shops and fine dining available. Not so crowded. They follow safety measures and require masks to be worn. Overall it was a great experience for me to hang out with friends. So I would give them 5 stars 🤩

Capitol Singapore is a large and interesting mall. The mall is easily accessible via MRT ie., City Hall MRT. Several buses call at this mall as well. Despite being aestheically pleasing and very well connected (for transport), something is amiss as the mall seems to have low traffic. Capitol Singapore houses restaurants and eateries. It also has training centres, spas and businesses selling electrical appliances. Capitol Singapore consists of the new outdoor plaza, the arcade, the retail podium and the residential tower which are all connected. The view outside of Capitol Singapore is breathtaking and creates an excellent backdrop for stunning pictures. Capitol Singapore is Beautiful and Aesthetically pleasing. It is a great place for photo buffs. Outdoor sports activities available include trampoline jumping and jump boots. To eat, one can easily find MeePok & Nasi Lemak amongst a myriad of eating options. The aroma permeating from the shop that sells Nasi Lemak is enticing (& inviting).

Didn't really shop around to experience this newly renovated Capitol. Was straight to the Famous Treasure restaurant for my dinner. Will surely come back to roam around and give my better comments again. Overall, the impression was good.

I really like to have dinner with my friends at the restaurant here. The transportation is very convenient. It is near the MRT station. The environment is elegant and quiet. The food is delicious, but the price is a little expensive!

Stopped in for a late night beverage and small snack on the way back to the hotel. Mrs Burgandy chose a mangoe cocktail and followed with an espresso Martini as mango too sweet. I settled for an Old fashioned cocktail and it was sublime. Not too pricey and great atmosphere. Recommend you go. Stay Classy

Nothing much about the place, mrt is linked, toilet is clean. Food choices wise not much.. Oh there's a massage shop on b2 which skills is quite good though. Father’s feet,if I remembered correctly . Dropped to a star, brought my kids for meals here, all toilets closed, because too many mymar ppl using😑stupid management.. Bad to worse..

It's been more than a decade since I last visited before it was revamped. The usual impression often strikes me is the small space practically has nothing to see or shop. I would conveniently give it a miss and head straight to raffles city just diagonally across the street. Today's accidental visit is an eye opener. It is like an iceberg - not much above the surface but lots to see underground.
