wanna try a unique mix of alcohol? this place here is what you will find your character of alcohol. they are real experts in mixing the best blend for you. beside thier Kaya Toast cocktail, please feel free to try what they recommend. you will be surprised that you learn yourself more after that. becareful... you will lost yourself there. not just an hidden place that you can really identify when you first visit. after when you go in... you might get drunk by the love of their alcohol. be prepared. LOL

Might be my favorite bar yet in Singapore! Let’s start with hospitality, the owners are amazing. Fiona was so helpful and friendly, just awesome. Had the Old and Fashionable and the Tropicana Fizz, and both were great. Loved the vibe inside, and next time I’ll plan to try some of the bar bites. Highly recommend!

“Drinking on borrowed time” Had the chance of having drinks here with a couple of friends after work and the experience could be improved. Admittedly we were late to the table and there are bookings after us but the incessant reminders got annoying fast. But besides that, the staff tries to be nice and explains the menu in detail. The drinks we had were all great, and the added detail of having your reservation name written on the table adds to the overall vibe of the place. Drinks were served quick and prices are atypical of bars along the street. But what can be improved was on the front of communication. Otherwise, a nice, cozy bar with excellent drinks.

[Oct 2023] Lovely Friday night spent at this speakeasy bar - fantastic vibe, service, food and drinks. Nothing fell short of our expectations. The drinks menu comes with detailed flavour profiles that caters to all. Drinks are creative and filled with surprises. Music is good and ain’t too loud, still a suitable place for chats and good catch ups. Reservation’s a must for a Friday night. Thanks Fiona and team for the hospitality!

Nice ambience. Friendly staffs.. awesome cocktails.. Fancy and cute menu, with detailed explanation of each cocktails. I can’t decide on what to order as everything looks so good. I want to bring their menu back, it’s just way too cute to keep it. 😜 One of the staffs explained to me, asked for my preference and helped me to make decision.. 😂😂 I must say it’s a very nice speakeasy bar.. It’s just next to MRT station..!

Really cool place with a variety of drinks that are interesting and suitable for everyone at different alcohol tolerance levels. Great ambience and banter as well

café by day and bar by night. we walked in on a Friday night at 10:30pm without making any reservations and were lucky to have gotten a seat. would’ve liked to order some bar bites to pair with our drinks, but food kitchen was closed by the time we got there. music was a hit! the crowd that day was awesome too, with people singing along loudly to the music. later into the night, they switched on the disco lights which just upped things a notch! the cocktails will set you back ~25$ per drink, but what you’re really paying for is the atmosphere and energy that fills that place. so worth it!

Cozy cocktail bar with a decent selection of food (both sides and mains). Their cocktail selection is categorised by taste - fruity cocktails, bitter cocktails etc so it's easy to pick the ones you have a preference for. Ordered and tried 3 drinks which were all pretty well done. Will return to try other drinks and perhaps food.

staff was friendly enough and let us in without a reservation! we had the melona & espresso martini cocktails, and they were both delicious! you could definitely taste the alcohol, but they were mixed really well too! staff didn't really explain the drinks to us, but they seemed pretty busy so it's alright. overall, a good bar to visit! pretty cozy atmosphere too!

Very nice place revisited at night. In the morning they are Free The Robot. Tried Message in a bottle, Pandan Negroni and Espresso Martini. Their pastas are good and we had a good experience with their mala crayfish pasta and aglio olio prawn pasta. Great place to revisit anytime! - more new haunts can be found at ig @rawwfoodies

Hidden away on Telok Ayer street, literally behind a locked door, we stumbled upon Bitters & Love while looking for a quick drink or two before dinner. Even though the outside is discreet, the windows offer enough of a view to entice curious passers by. To get in however is a set of instructions that require you to ring a bell ‘once’ and wait a precise 3-5mins for entry. Which we obediently did, and then proceeded to resist checking our phone if 3 or 5 mins had passed or if we actually pressed the bell correctly. Luckily a polite member of staff saved us from anxiety. Even though we hadn’t booked we were lucky to get a table as long as we returned it in the hour, which was fine as that was our plan. Inside the bar is lavishly decorated with plants, trinkets, ornaments and old statues, which will keep you busy looking around while you enjoy your drinks. The bar staff were attentive and friendly and offered to give us a low down on the cocktail menu. The cocktails were fun and tasty enough to make you want to work your way through the menu. To keep in theme of our surroundings, I tried a ‘living lavish’ which had enough of a tequila kick and a refreshing hit to perk me up for the beginning of the night. We also tried a ‘La vie en rose’ which was a great way to add a little more flavour to a delicious rose. Just as we were about to leave we got a waft of some freshly cooked beef bar snacks which made us want to come back and sample some food as well the rest of the drinks menu. Will be back for more for sure.

Amazing service and really stylish cozy vibes. Food is great, definitely go for the beef cubes, fish tacos, and mala pasta! And for drinks, just tell what you feel like drinking, what notes you feel like having, and they will tailor and recommend you a drink that would satisfy your palate. Definitely a chill place to always come back for!

Nice cocktail: Very good spread, using good ingredients and fresh herbs and artistically crafted concoctions with unexpected twist. Besides, prawn pasta super yummy. Positive vibe: warm and investing without being noisy. Great service: very helpful staff.

Visited the cafe on a Saturday afternoon. From the outside, it has an interesting vibe and it feels like as though you are entering a person’s home. However, we arrived the cafe at around 2.15pm and the cafe closes at 3pm, but the staff were still nice to serve us mains etc. Due to the lack of time, we have decided to order something smaller. I ordered the avocado sandwich toast with smoked salmon and it is delicious! Definitely worth a try!

The drink itself more than held its own vs other bars locally. I loved my grapefruit gin Campari. If you happen to have a dog in hand and you find yourself in want of a good drink, try for outside seating here. The beautiful waffles and ice cream didn’t hurt either! We were honestly just in need of smth sweet but the guy delivered a high quality coconut and pistachio ice cream waffle topped w edible flowers. (This is also my choice spot for a weekday coffee when I’m in the area.)

Amazing cocktail bar! Cool menu. But very very spendy. I was super disappointed by the Lit it Up group drink. It's 150 dollars and basically sugar water. Strongly suggest you avoid that one.

I'd give it a 10 stars if I could. The service here is AMAZING with Fiona and Ernest and their team. I cannot love it more - for the art of customer service is sadly very difficult to come by. for their impeccable service and their care they have provided for their customers. 100 out of 5 stars is what I would give.. I’ve lived in Singapore 8 years and this is by far the best bar in Singapore hands down! Couldn’t believe I only found it last year! Fantastic cocktails, really cool vibe, tasty food and most importantly a really great staff who just want to have fun!

It's a bar that offers a wide variety of cocktails! Good to hangout with friends. We tried one night in Tokyo and bittersweet symphony. Music was a bit on the loud side, some people were dancing 🤣 Was a fun Friday night!

Wow! It’s the place to be. Most original cocktails. Especially staff who makes it a point to delight you. It’s our 4th visit. And each visit gets better. My favourite cocktail; kaya cocktail and tiramisu (not on menu).

The unique vibe of Bitters & Love is just amazing. They have a great selection of food but the cocktails are, in my opinion, the best I've ever had. Have been here twice already and would highly recommend.

Always fun to meet the usual peeps here. Fiona as usual running the floor while Bev made awesome mixes! Intro my colleagues here and they love it. The ambiance, the settings and of cos, the good finger food and drinks! You gotta make reservations and allowed to stay for 90mins per session.

I was passing by Telok Ayer when this cute little cafe caught my eyes and thought of ordering some vegetarian nachos to take away. The lady serving people were very polite and total ambassador of customer service. She was a one woman show running around like a superwoman ( without a cape) and was attending to everyone’s request promptly. Thanks for the awesome 👏 service by the lady and she is a true example of how a customer service personnel. The nachos was fantastic !

Cocktails were really good but service was quite slow. Managed to get only 1 round of drinks in 90mins on a weeknight. Would recommend ordering 2x drinks on first order so can try more of their menu :)

This is my favourite cocktail bar in Singapore (probably worldwide). Always look forward to returning when visiting from London. The menu is expansive, inventive and really very fun. The cocktails are delicious, well balanced and suitably strong - at this point I have tried around a dozen and there hasn't been a single one I haven't loved. One Night in Tokyo is my absolute favourite. The service is another high point and some of the best I've encountered - everyone is friendly, attentive (yet unobtrusive) and engaging. They're also very knowledgeable and every recommendation/suggestion they've made based on my choices or their own observations has been completely on point. Ultimately, it's clear the team are all really passionate about what they do/providing a great experience and it shows in the unbeatable ambience - lively yet laid back with both guests and staff having a genuinely great time in the same shared space (compared to most other cocktail bars in the city which feel sterile and contrived to me, including those ranking highly on the international best bar lists). The fries are also great. Would highly recommend!
