Writing
this
while
here
at
the
atp.
So
far
a
pretty
good
lunchtime
experience.
This
is
my
first
time
here
and
as
an
American
at
the
American
tap
room
I
feel
as
though
I
have
unreasonably
high
standards.
Let’s
start
with
the
good.
Food
and
beer.
Now
I
know
what
you’re
thinking,
Jason,
if
both
the
food
and
beer
were
good,
why
only
4
and
not
5
stars.
I’ll
get
there.
Firstly,
I
got
a
burger,
and
of
course
I
should,
it’s
AMERICAN
tap
house.
It
was
great.
A
nice
medium
rare,
no
stupid
frilly
stuff
so
many
Asian
places
put
on,
no
fillers
in
the
meat,
just
a
good
old
fashioned
burger.
Beer
was
good,
though
I’m
positive
either
the
bartender
gave
me
the
wrong
first
beer
or
blasta
brewery
doesn’t
know
what
the
heck
a
neipa
is.
No
worries,
I
got
it
at
the
lunchtime
rate,
as
well
as
my
next
beer
which
was
a
dechutes
hazy
neipa,
solid
beer.
All
good
so
far.
The
cons
Two
things
stand
out.
1
.
The
bartender
was
friendly,
but
did
not
seem
to
know
anything
about
beer,
also
he
seemed
to
be
pre
occupied
with
both
the
female
staffer,
kitchen
and
his
phone
as
opposed
to
the
customers,
which
there
were
not
many
of.
The
overall
state
of
the
place
was
messy.
There
were
tables
and
chafing
dishes
left
out,
probably
from
an
event
the
day
before.
A
bit
boring
inside.
If
it’s
all
about
the
beer,
then
find
someone
knowledgeable
to
talk
about
it.
Prices
were
really
good.
Great
lunchtime
deals
and
lots
of
weekly
specials.
Almost
good
enough
to
make
it
five
stars,
but
I
feel
5
stars
should
be
best
of
the
best.
Would
I
go
back?
Yes,
absolutely.
A
very
good
experience,
I
would
only
recommend
to
educate
your
staff
about
beer
as
you
have
32
of
them
to
sell.
