We chose the Japanese wagyu buffet set cos we thought the wagyu should be those that melt in your mouth. But the meat were tough and chewy. We tried medium and was still tough. :( So kinda disappointed. Service was not too bad. At this price SGD86.80++, I am expecting better quality meat.

High quality Japanese BBQ! While it's a bit pricey, the Wagyu beef quality justifies the cost. The meat is incredibly tender and juicy, especially the thick ox tongue for its taste and texture. The service is great, Win provided friendly and attentive care throughout our meal. Highly recommend this restaurant

I have tried many different Japanese BBQ restaurants in Singapore. This is one place where the menu consists of a long list of items - in fact 183 items. The quality of the beef is above average for its price. It only stated the beef is of “Premium Quality”, but the marbling is quite good. We ordered the Japanese Wagyu Premium Loin Steak, Australian Wagyu Thick Tongue, Wagyu Cross “Dragon Karubi”, Basil & Garlic Chicken, Assorted Seafood, Greenland Halibut Miso Foil and the Japanese Wagyu Set on top of other dishes. The Steak is good and the Dragon Karubi is the best, in my opinion. The tongue is spongy and is not really to my expectations. The other items are quite normal. The service is very operational, meaning you order, they deliver. No fault, minimum delay. The staff do not have the time to stop and ask whether you are enjoying your meal or not as they are all very busy. So don’t expect personal service here. Overall, the food is good and the quality depends on your BBQ skills as well. The bill could range from reasonable to slightly expensive, depending on what you ordered. Will I visit it again? May be, in a while.

Service was extremely slow. It can take about 15 minutes for us to receive our dessert from the moment we ordered it. The smoke from the grills pretty much filled the entire air. Karubi set was tender and delicious. Ramen was a huge meh.

One of the best quality beef I've ever tried. Their rich mouthfeel and strong flavor of beef is a hard one to not love. The texture of the beef is perfect with the slight chew , tenderness and juiciness. Great service rendered with prompt response. Overall a good experience dining here.

Had the lunch set meal and it comes with a salad and rice too. Meat quality is above average and we loved the seafood soup!

Good service. Use QR to order. Had the aussie buffet. Was alright. Quality is good. A bit pricey tho. Free flow 90 min buffet. Eat till food coma. Ventilation not really good. Smokey. Will get smelly.

The service here needs to be improved. Expectations of food here are comparable to other branches, and I already know what food options to avoid. Garlic fried rice was rather disappointing though, and it would become another option I would avoid in future visits.

Go early as crowd comes in just before lunch time. The Japanese beef buffet (90min) is good with quality cuts. Service crew has reduced significantly so order more to reduce food serving time. The exhaust could be improved as you’ll definitely smell after going in.

It was my bff’s birthday and throughout the night Suherman and Spielberg took care of us and made sure we had a very good dinner. We had the wagyu buffet and a bottle of Dry sake which was really good. Definitely recommended!!

The standard for garlic fried rice was significantly down. It was one of my look forward to dishes actually. But I had one mouthful today. After cooking for awhile ashes seems to pile and nothing was done to clean up or no offer to change charcoal for us.

Good quality of meat served here. If course, good wagyu come with a good price, I mean higher price. As only 2 can dine in per table, I sat with my young daughter and can't really order much. Ordered a small platter 400g, with wagyu, meat cube, chicken and pork belly. Add on a plate of sausages for my little princess. Little princess enjoyed the bbq experience and gave a thumb up for the pork belly. She finished most of the sausages and some meat. The rest, 95% if the meat goes to me. 😂 Definitely delicious, meat goes very well with their sweet sauce. 😋 Wagyu melt in my mouth. Buttery flavour. Will come again when family can dine together.

Been to serval different outlets to dine but this was my first time dining at the Marina Square branch. While I find that their services are prompt and polite, the freshness of their food aren’t that good as compared with the other outlets I’ve been to. I was surprised to find some of the waygu meat brown in colour. Where it usually supposed to be pinkish or red. Gyu-Kaku outlets are usually full house. But the Marina Square branch is surprisingly empty when I went. It is good if you wanna walk-in without reservations.

The food was good, meats were of good quality and well marinated, liked the wagyu beef cuts, unfortunately didn’t get any photos. The service however was a bit lacking, despite there being many staff around during late lunch hours. The staff did not seem occupied as there were very few people in the restaurant but they were quite slow in responding to our requests. Went with family and to our shock there was a dish washing scrub metal wire in the rice so watch out for food cleanliness and safety as well.

Went there for dinner and Served by Wei Ming , Jerry and Lesley . Ordered the buffet and the food was delicious and great (as usual) standards maintained high. Was surprised at the service which was GREAT, Wei Ming was very polite and eager to serve , jerry was prompt with the grill change and Lesley was always on hand to refill our drinks. You got gem of workers in these three ! Keep it up!

A lovely experience! Read many reviews about poor service so I was slightly concerned coming down on a Sunday for dinner at 8pm for my anniversary, but everything went well! Even though we were put in a corner, it was never difficult to get the attention of the staff to place orders during our premium Japanese Wagyu buffet. They were quick to serve and never forgot an order even though my boyfriend and I tried many different dishes and ordered a total of say 4-5 rounds. The meat was pretty good, of course not their top selection of Wagyu you would find ala carte but we were very happy. The different cuts had very different textures and flavours so it was really varied. A special mention to Katherine for amazing service! She was so friendly and informative despite having worked long hours and being really busy. She took the time to share with us her favourite cuts, their different textures and also which also carte cuts we can come back to try! Truly appreciate all the information. Great experience and will definitely be back!

Only beef in the $35 range and above is of better quality. Beef cube texture is mediocre. This outlet is less crowded compared to others, good for last minute booking.
