Ordered from them a couple of times. My purchases of equipment were swift and faultless. My livestock purchase was unsatisfactory, as the delivery man simply hung them at my gate and sent me a message regarding the delivery. Luckily, there was someone at home to bring my saltwater inverts into the house, and prevent them from overheating to death in the hot weather. However, I've recently ordered some plants from them. I ordered a few alternanthera sessilis red, acorus calamus, and water sprite. When I went down to self-collect, the lady checked my order, bagged my plants, and handed them to me. My mistake: I didn't check my order as I was rushing; and I trusted that my order was right. I was horrified when I checked them on the bus. My alternanthera had so many holes in them and many leaves were wilting. They were unusable as I intended to utilise them for a friend's project. My acorus calamus wasn't acorus calamus. I received acorus calamus variegatus. It's a completely different colour, so I couldn't use it either. My water sprite's stems weren't strong either. I couldn't even get them to stay put up straight without pinning rocks against them. So, after wasting 3hrs, virtually everything was unusable. I messaged a staff regarding this. I told her about the mistake with the acorus. Didn't even point out the alternanthera and the water sprite. I wasn't angry in the email. I just expected an apology. But nada. Didn't even receive a reply from her. Must we be nasty before our complaints will be heard? I hope not. Terribly disappointed. I had to go down to C328 to pick up replacement plants.

Excellent Professional aquarium for both fresh water or marine hobbyists. Plentiful of supplies n accessories available. The aquarium has 2 floors, ground being catered for fishes, coral, plants, moss etc etc and the upper floor is for a varied mix of accessories, equipment, tanks n fish food. It’s pretty fairly well stocked and the staff are knowledgeable and very approachable. Layout is very neat and products n fish stock are well displayed. This latter point earns it the 5th star n differentiated this aquarium from the usual style aquarium which tends to be a bit wet n unclean with stock arranged haphazardly. Browsing here was pleasant n definitely worth a visit or 2 or 3 or etc etc etc👍

The guys would patiently explain plants to me, how they grow, where to get terrestial plants to help my setup. I see how the staff really love what they do n are really knowledgeable. Plants are not exactly cheap cheap, but reasonable.. I must say their selection of both aquatic and amphibious plants are GREAT! You really wont get such variety in a local fish store, say even in clementi! They label their plants so you know well what youre getting or can google. hands down great amazing space! Spent a good 2.5 hrs here just admiring and asking qns.! The sea animals are amazing. The sea anemones are reallyyy worth a look. Hands down the most fascinating n educating fish shop ive stepped into!

It's a little treasure trove for anything related to the marine world! John from the store is extremely knowledgeable and helpful... he answered all my questions and provided a lot of additional information on my new fish, the tank, taking care of it, etc. Highly recommend this place!

First time here, they're nightly friendly, well stocked and (sounds) very knowledgeable. Every other customer that comes in seems to have a good relationship with them, and trust their recommendation.

This crew seem to be enthusiastic and keen to help us hobbyist. Good selection of plants, substrates, equipments and fishes. Unlike some aquarium shops (which I won't name) they are actively treating the sick fish that you get from the imported supplies and not passing it on to the customer. I only wish they could put more prices on items so don't have to ask 'how much?"

What makes Fresh and Marine stand out from your cookie cutter aquarium shops is the customer service. Mok the Manager there and another tall and lanky staff have both provided me with excellent advice and tips and their knowledge of products is great. Kudos to the boss for recognising the importance of customer service and imbibing this in his team. So many shops really suck in this aspect. Fresh and Marine is the example they all need to follow.

Ordered fishes from them on 19 apr, was told it would come in 3-7 working days. Called them about a week aft ordering asking when it would come, was told it would come this weekend. This weekend came and no update, had to call them and they told me to get back to me. Ultimately decided to cancel the order and get a refund and order from elsewhere.

Dropped by today to check out their offerings after shopping online a few times during circuit breaker. I was not just super impressed by their extensive array of offerings, but by the friendly and knowledgeable staff (thank you Mok and Michelle!) who spared their time to share about what plants and fish would suit my tank’s conditions. But also walked me through reasonably priced and sustainable equipment, not just convincing me to get the most expensive items but those that made the most sense for my tank. Nice place to visit. Things are reasonable, not at cut throat prices and you may walk out buying something in the end. I bought spider wood branches and some rocks to create a biotope tank.

The go-to if you're looking for a new fish tank or any fish keeping needs. They have a great variety of fish both fresh and saltwater. The staff were really helpful as we navigated being fish owners for the first time. Definitely recommend them for their great quality and helpfulness. Really easy to get to on the bus also and next to a few other nice coffee shops and restaurants if you want to hang out in the area afterwards.

One of the staff was friendly enough to share with me about their products and suggestions to better fit my needs and budget 👍 I would comment that bespectacled guy but forgot his name. Fresh N Marine is a great place for fish hobbyist of all sorts. Tucked away in East Coast, this aquarium shop is absolutely fantastic. I am a beginner and I cannot tell you how much I’ve learnt from just spending an hour there. I bought from Fresh n Marine online twice, they were quite professional and competitive with price. However the in-store experience was 5-star. The staff were helpful with all my questions and extra careful when packing my shrimps. They were readily available when I need help and more than often do more/provide more than I asked for. I currently don't have much going on to buy a lot from them but nevertheless was welcomed with great attitude which made me and my wife felt very at home.

This course is absolutely useful for beginner looking to start or maintain a successful reef tank. Jeremy is very patient, pro and is willing to impart his knowledge to me during the whole session of the course. After attending his course, I have definitely gained more knowledge and confident!

Nice store. They advertise many forms of payment, but in reality have minimum price of $100 for credit cards and a 3% fee. Also staff not very friendly. I do not recommend. Many other better shops.

Short review: the best experience I’ve had at an aquarium in terms of product and service. Wide variety of fresh and salt water fishes and plants, products as well. And you can clearly tell that a lot of care and attention has been given to their fishes and plants. What blew me away however, was the passion and knowledge displayed by the members of FNM, namely Mok, who spent half an hour sharing with me his knowledge about tank and plant care. We had a really good and fun conversation. Can’t recommend this store enough!

FNM is the only one that stocks Brightwell Aquatics FlorinMulti Plant Fertilizer that's safe for shrimps so I travelled all the way to purchase a 500ml bottle. Luckily, I managed to get the last one. So far, entire shopping experience is positive. 👍🏻

Pros: They have a lot of equipment, supplies and additives, stocking brands that other LFS don't. Their website is fast, neat and informational. Cons: They are lacking in the number of marine livestock offered. Their staff couldn’t some of my questions and weren't the friendliest; look out for their owner who is more passionate.

I went to fresh and marine on 2 Aug 2022 as suggested by one of my friend. Neither me nor my friend was aware if they sell turtles and it’s related products. My friend said that the staff is quite good so you must visit. Today when I visited the shop I got to know that they neither sell turtles nor deal in its products. I met, Princesley, in the shop and I must say he is very pleasant and knowledgeable person. Though at the start itself he knew that I am there for turtles which they don’t deal in, still with whole heartedly he answered all my doubts and queries and guided me in taking care of turtles. He even recommended me the shops near my area where I can look for turtle stuffs. Thank you so much Princesley for all your time and guidance:)

My fishtank is small and fishes are few, but looks beautiful and my living room looks bright. 😊😊 I plan to visit again next week to get more fish.

This is one of the few local fish shops in Singapore that sell both freshwater and seawater aquarium products and fishes. A great place to be to get your freshwater and seawater needs met in one place.

Visited the store on 9th August. We drove 30mins from Holland village as reviews were quite good. Quite a good well maintained store.

Was kinda disappointed with my recent order. Was told (after 4 days) that several plants I ordered online was out of stock even though their website indicated that there is stock. And because of that did not meet minimum require amount for free delivery. They can’t waive the delivery fee even it’s $10 short of the minimum order due to the lack of stock from supplier side.

Customer service at physical shop have lots of room for improvement. Lacking knowledge of products. Poor attitude towards new hobbyist who is keen to learn. (I’m an experienced reefer bringing a friend who is new to the hobby. He told me the young lady at the top floor showed zero interest in clarifying his doubt. He asked respectfully but was brushed off just like that.) They were awarded Apac Insider’s BEST ONLINE AQUARIUM STORE 2021. The service I received ordering their items from their website was by far the worst buying experience I ever had from a local store. I’ve had 2 delivery orders with them. 1st order was lighting equipment and a few accessories. It took them 2 weeks to deliver. For my 2nd order (giving them the benefit of doubt that such delay was common), I ordered some livestocks and the order was delayed for more than 2 weeks. There was no confirmation from freshnmarine for my both orders, 3 days after my purchase. I got worried and PM them on both whatsapp and FB messenger. I only receive the reply 2 days after, on both platforms. In addition, when my livestock was delivered, no one called beforehand that it will be delivered that day. I received a call around 4pm that the livestock will reach my address in 30mins. I was appalled. I had to rush back home from work to check on my livestock. They were in a plain thin plastic bag, hung on my mailbox of my gate, under the scorching sun. When I PM freshnmarine on this issue through whatsapp, they mentioned that they have called beforehand and they cannot do anything about it. Overall, I would recommend FreshnMarine for their impressive range of marine products and livestocks at their physical shop. Do bring in an experienced friend to guide you. Note that their items on shelves have NO price tags. I would NOT recommend purchasing ANYTHING from their website. REFRAIN FROM ORDERING ANYTHING ON THEIR WEBSITE. Unless you don’t mind replies days later and delays in your order with no updates. Calc

Recent visits seem very underwhelming. Perhaps a change in management? Freshwater items are out of stock, lifestocks/plants health are worse, hardscape materials are close to non-existent. However, decent selection on marine stuff if you are more into that.

Used to be a cosy LFS but as business expanded many young staff were hired to handle the shops and thus gradually lost some personal touch. Still a good place to shop for plenty of dry goods tho.

Staff were friendly, a wide variety of fresh n salt water fish here. Sadly, their website state pristella tetra were available, came from the north but it was "sold out".
