Cute place to stop for coffee and snacks!

On our bike ride we came across this catering establishment. Bought a delicious ice cream there. Pleasant garden to sit in and plenty of space for the children to play. Highly recommended to have something to eat there. The menu also includes tea, coffee, pastries, soft drinks, but also lemonade and even a beer and a specialty beer. Top!!

Very hospitable reception. A warm bath. So much understanding for our grandchild with disabilities. And then the delicious cup of coffee in Engels Porcelijn. With a mini ice cream with sugar loaf flavor. Highly recommended. But also the surroundings, so close to the Dokkumer Ee. Worth repeating.

A warm place in a beautiful location. Together with our children, I surprised my parents-in-law who were already there drinking coffee. Our son immediately started playing and occasionally looked up to watch the beautiful boats passing by. The service is chatty, pleasant and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

We moored our boat at a Marrakrite staging along the Dokkumer Ee in Friesland (between Leeuwarden and Burdaard) and found this lovely, lovely tea garden on our doorstep, with a popular cycle path nearby. The hosts, Juri and Wini, are a wonderfully friendly couple who made us feel extremely welcome in their very pretty and peaceful family orientated garden, which also contained plenty of garden toys to keep younger children amused. Plenty of comfortable seating is available outside for sunny days, and their converted barn is a great place to sit in when the weather is chillier. And not forgetting the yummy selection of ice creams, cakes and drinks on offer. An excellent place to stop and relax, and to meet up with friends.

Even gestopt tijdens mijn fietstocht Franeker naar Groningen langs de Dokkumer Ee. Lekkere koffie met een ijsje erbij. Leuke plek om terug te komen.

Inspiring conversation about how we as people can interact with each other and how he puts his worldview into practice within the place he created together with his wife. At the beginning of January my wife and I spent a night at Anne-famke's Pleats. The farm is located directly on the Dokkummer Ee. Near Bartlehiem. There are 2 apartments in the farm. The double bed is very spacious and we slept wonderfully. The bathroom with shower, sink and toilet was very clean and spacious. There is also a countertop with coffee maker. The view is beautiful.
