No air conditioning in our room. Or fan. It had been 37 that day with the windows closed so it was pretty much a sauna. Staff couldn’t have cared less about the noise in the courtyard that kept everyone up until after 2am. The safe wasn’t plugged in or in fact attached to the floor (wow, great security). We were booked in for two nights, left after one. When we checked out half way through our stay the woman on the desk seemed shocked to her her colleague had literally shrugged his shoulders when my husband had come down at 2am to ask the staff to sort out the people who were sitting in the courtyard. We tried ringing reception but the phone didn’t work. She of course still charged us for two nights and offered us a free coffee...wow. Thanks. Oh and it’s opposite a building project so they started just after 8am. I don’t think we got any sleep at all. Only decent thing was the shower.

Very good location if you want to be out of the city center a bit, but still on the metro/tram lines. Decent sized rooms, easy check-in. A few nice restaurants and bars in the quarter.

Great hotel in a quiet location. The hotel has really nice ambience, very friendly staff and very tasty breakfast. Also the area has very nice brunch places around if you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel.

This hotel was okay but I probably wouldn't stay there again. The receptionist was very friendly when checking us in and also very obliging when I popped down to ask for more teabags and milk for our room. The hotel was in a good location and we were just a short walk from Brussels central and Brussels zuid stations. The bed was really comfortable and we managed to get BBC 1 AND BBC 2 on the TV! The room was quite small which I was expecting, but we were on the top floor which had a sloped ceiling that I kept hitting my head on when I got out of the bed. On the first morning, the shower door came off the rail and fell onto me as I was closing the door! Luckily my partner heard me scream and came into the bathroom to help me, and thankfully he was able to reattach the door. There was also quite a lot of limescale build up on the shower screen. I re-checked the price of the hotel just before we went (just to see if it would be any cheaper to cancel and re-book) and it had gone up to £400+ for 2 nights. I would have been quite miffed if I had paid that. To be honest, even the £270 that I paid for 2 nights didn't feel excellent value for money.

We were excited for our stay at Vintage Hotel, but left disappointed. Our room was unbearably hot and we woke up throughout the night. There was a huge stain on the floor, and it was advertised as 20sqm but was definitely smaller. Pro’s we’re that the receptionist was friendly, great location and great WiFi.

Receptionist who checked us in was very nice and informative. Unfortunately, the room was very small and extremely hot!! The thermostat didn’t work and the window barely opened.. it felt like a sauna inside. Very uncomfortable, thankfully only stayed one night.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The staff were friendly and we were well received. The ground floor was nicely decorated with vintage furniture. The room was a bit disappointing. The room was on the small side, there was very little realm in the room and the bathroom looked dirty. The location is very pleasant, plenty of food and drink places nearby. You can get away by public transport and/or scooter.

Quiet location and OK breakfast, good WiFi. Room was pretty run-down with a carpet stained almost everywhere, stains on the walls and bathroom door. Towels also had stains sometimes, one day someone else's hair was on supposedly fresh towels, and on arrival the bathroom was not completely clean. Shower doors did not stay fully closed. Mostly the place is simply in need of renovation, you can also see years of accumulated grime in the shower doors. Heating was turned up pretty high, though the front desk offered to help with that. Overall, definitely bad value - you're overpaying for some "vintage objects" in the room - and probably best to avoid entirely. Maybe some rooms are better, but it's not like I booked the cheapest one either.

Very stylish old building turned into hotel, nice rooms, tasty breakfast and friendly personnel.

Bit out of the main city, however quiet area and a nice walk into the main areas. Hotel was cool Retro style with an airstream caravan in the front yard and a motorbike on the first floor balcony

For the ones that plan on walking to the hotel from the Brussels Central Train Station, you might have to pass hilly streets. However, I would recommend Vintage Hotel Brussels to anyone looking for a nice stay in Brussels with huge, comfortable and clean rooms and kind employees!

Very centric location, the girl at the desk was very amicable. The place is quiet and calm I don't give them 5 star because of the lack of air conditioner ( I went there on June and the weather was a little hot)

Very nice "vintage" hotel. I stayed there 15 years ago and it's still as nice as it was back then. Excellent location near metro an lot's of cool restaurants.

Great location. Clean rooms. Nice spaces. The decoration is nice but requires a bit of more imagination to become organic. Old things here and there. Anyway, i take out one star because there was no small fridge in the room.

Managed to get a double room for 84 euro, 2 days before staying. The hotel was clean, stylish and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the location was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, excellent value for money.

The rooms are very small and do not have air conditioning. It becomes very difficult to be in the room, and in several cases, we had to hold meetings from there.

Cute hotel with a lot of character. We enjoyed our stay of 4 days and 3 nights. Great location to walk around. We found lots of good restaurants and bars right on our street. I would recommend the woodpecker for breakfast. The room was a smaller size, and cleaning was ok. I believe a deeper clean is required for the water build-up in the shower. The bed and pillows were ok. We felt the pillows were too big and ended up with a sore neck of the night. Overall, I would recommend it for the location and vibe of the neighbourhood.

Fabulous hotel in Brussels. We stayed in 2 hotels during our stay, both excellent, however the location of Vintage Hotel is amazing. Family room was excellent, amazing 60s-70's decor. Brilliant continental breakfast for €10 per person. Staff were super helpful, and reccomended great walks and resteraunts. Street parking available (albeit a little pricey). Will definitely return, and stay again.

!!! TOURIST TRAP !!! Our room here was gross. The shower was rusty and falling apart. Room smelled like smoke. So-Fi does not work. There is no A/C. Avoid this place and Brussels at all cost.

The rooms were older and dirty. The walls had stains and it appears like the carpet was rarely vacuumed. For the price point I expected much better. I would not recommend.

Nettes kleines Hotel, recht zentral gelegen. Vintage als Motto ist eine gute Idee mit vielen „vintage“ Exponaten in der Lobby. Wird dem Anspruch in den Zimmern nicht voll gerecht. Sehr gute Betten und überraschend umfangreiches Frühstück. Nette Rezeption (keine Profis).

Fantastic - lovely decor, helpful staff and very comfortable. We had the smallest kind of room and was still plenty big enough, with high ceilings so still felt roomy. The location is also great, a few seconds from great cafes, restaurants and shops.

The staff at the hotel was very nice also before and after our stay. Our room was clear and perfectly equipped. Great and very effective darkening curtain! I recommend to try also the stairway :) Perfect breakfast - take your time to enjoy it. If you like quiet sleeping you might want to take some ears protectors, some walls are thin and reconstruction works might be carried out outside :)

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Right off the bat it felt like we're checking in for a good solid week, everything was just so nice. Honestly sad when we had to leave next morning, as this seems to be an absolutely perfect place to spend some time in and explore Brussels.

A nice hotel very close to Luise road. The hotel is vintage style and the rooms are decorated with items from the 60s and 70s. Room 15 has a police bike on the balcony which really is amazing. The room was clean but a bit cold. I expect that I will revisit this place

Very nice and clean room, great helpful staff and a super breakfast buffet... def worth it when spending a weekend in Brussels! The '70s vintage vibe is never too much, remains stylish, and the outdoor caravan is a nice touch...we had to wait a little bit for check-in because we arrived too early but still received a free coffee to accomodate our wait, just the way it has to be!

Horrible experience... The "wine" bar doesn't even have more than 3 bottles out of the entire menu! Service awful and rude bartenders...

Great price/quality! The accommodations are comfortable, nicely decorated and the hotel offers good spaces to sit outside and a bar. It is about 30 minute walk from the Grand Place, and you can also get there with the metro just a few meters away. There's great restaurants and stores in the surroundings, and you don't feel the overwhelm of a touristic city while you're here. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!

So, me and my friend were insulted by the staff at the reception (we believe his name is Damien). The hotel has charged my card before arrival, so when we arrived i said, that the can just keep the amount they've charged, but I was told that it has already been canceled cause it was just a security deposit, but now we have to pay again. When I said it's starange and asked when those money will be returned, he says he doesn't know, maybe Monday whatever... I've maid a comment half-jokingly that it's very typical for Europe, and then he said that we're very welcome to leave the hotel and find a place to stay elsewhere. I was like wow and said that we'll just pay cause we're tired, he said "I don't know, with this kind of attitude.... you're welcome to leave". At the end we paid and he acted like he was doing us a huge favor. Our evening and overall stay in Brussels has been ruined by this "attitude" of your staff, and it all could be avoided if he just apologized for the inconvenience and said that money will be returned and we shouldn't worry. Never again we'll set our foot in this hotel

You make a reservation they cancel the reservation unilaterally, if you want the room tr they ask for more money scammers.

Nice hotel, near metro Louise, with a 70's decoration. No fridge, no water boiler in the room (although mentioned in the booking confirmation), room not well lit. Access to my room was by elevator PLUS some stairs to enter the room and some more stairs inside the room, that was not mentioned when booked.
