Not worth spending your time to come and see this. Most of the time is closed, the exhibition is dull and there are no people to help you in case you have some questions. From time to time there is a security person which might pop-up and make you leave your bags/backpacks next to the front door, unsecured, even though there is literally nothing to be stolen inside. Your valuables are not locked, nor secured and anyone can steal them. The souvenir shop is not working as well. Even though it is free of charge, just try to avoid it, cause you can use that hour spent here for something else.

A reminder to humanity from darkest chapter of history, the museum capture with understandable sensitivity and broad vision the travails and sufferings of bold Jewish people. I was moved by some of the stories presented in the Museum.

A very interesting, educational and touching exhibition about the history of the Jewish community in Macedonia, that I would gladly recommend to anyone, local or foreign to visit. Though I would add that the last part about the deportation to Treblinka, the moment when you need to go down those tight stairs is so touching that will make an impact. It is both sad and powerful exhibition, and for those with a weak hearth I may recommend not to go down those stairs, it is not a light journey.

Very nice museum. Mainly goes over an important and somewhat overlooked narrative - the story of the Sephardic Jews and the Jews of the Balkans and Europe - and not just randomly displays things.

This museum doesn't just tell the story of the Holocaust but the history of Judaism in Macedonia and the Balkans at large. It covers from the Roman era through Spanish expulsion in 1492 and of course the history of the 20th century. It's well laid out and pretty modern. It's 100 in and you can't take photos.

Entrance fee is free (now in August 2016). Top floor has cinema room, one film is always working, about 30min. We can see videos on several private PC with earphones, maybe it takes more than 3 hours to see all movies. This museum is just in front of entrance of Macedonian struggle museum, it is worth to go.

Very interesting museum that traces Macedonian Jews and the impact of the Holocaust in the country. It also provides valuable information on the history of Judaism across the world. The building itself is also worth a visit

This museum has an extensive history of Jewish settlement in the Balkans, mostly Sephardic. Then it gets to the Nazis era, with all-too-familiar accounts of mans' inhumanity to man.

Modern building, modern disposal of information with real testimonies: recorded interviews and objcts from those who were expelled from North Macedonia during II WW... Around 7000 and were sent to Treblinka. Quite impressive. A visit it's compulsory!

Sad story and history, especially for the innocent victims like Jews first, suffered a lot without reasonable cause, also we most not forgot suffering of the Slavs, Roma populations etc. Terrible terrible evil hapend, victims and also whole humanity should forgive but never forget, museum worth visiting, not just like tourist stop for foreign guests, but more importantly is for us Macedonians to visit too. It's accessible, parking available...

Amazing museum tickets are cheap as well. Can not take photos inside but that’s understandable. The best part of the museum was the holocaust train that came from Bulgaria.

Great experience n well done exhibit. It presents a full time of history of Jewish heritage in the region and history.

Highly informative. Emphasis was more on the history of Jews / anti-Semitism in Macedonia rather than "the Holocaust" itself. This provided an interesting lens through which to understand the Shoah (Holocaust).

Holocaust Museum of North Macedonia is only the fourth in the world after Washington, Jerusalem, and Berlin. This is a moving museum with fascinating, just opened new exhibition. It is a very sad story about Jews in Macedonia and Balkan. It is absolutely worth visiting.

Good museum, it was busy the night I visited as there was a fashion show taking place right after. Does depict the national history, cultural shifts and life stories. All in all worth a visit.

Very nice explanation of what happens. Only drawback was a bit difficult to follow the order or the rooms. Maybe numbers can be assigned to every room
