This Beautiful scenic park can be found in the historical small town of Smith's Falls Ontario. Bright and very well maintained, there are ample places to sit and have a picnic. There are change rooms and an area where anyone can have a swim. There is free parking and washrooms available. It is friendly to people with physical disabilities. There is a little ice cream shop on site and many food places within walking distance. The people in this small town are friendly and it's a quiet atmosphere. There is a small sandy wading area at this park in between two lift locks. Mothers with young children and families like to sit under the shade of the trees here and wade in the clear, warm water. There is also a deeper area suitable for swimming and diving and an inflatable floating trampoline. There is a building with change and washrooms. There is an ice cream vendor in the building.

I really enjoyed walking around the park. Smiths Falls is a lovely little town on the Rideau River. The century-old hand-cranked canal locks were awesome to watch!

Kids movie and the crowd of cursing, smoking, vaping, destroying property next to it was disgusting. SF Police did a check in at one poi t. Never got out of the vehicle, slowed down as they went by, windows all closed. Do better SF Police. Do better.

Clean and maintained! For a small town like Smiths Falls, the park is picture perfect for a million dollar view.

Nice little park along the Rideau River, has plenty of benches and tables to sit at, some cool fountains, and some nice flower gardens. Scenic riverside views make this a nice place to come by for a walk, or picnic and it's got mooring areas for boats so you can dock along the edge of the park. Park has a pretty cool water tower along it and contains the falls that the town is known for, although they are less impressive in person. I'd say its worth a stop here if you are in the area.

Awesome place and spot. Lots of boats to look at, big ice creams for good price and food as well. Water is very warm and the view is just amazing. Places to sit on and great town.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is a great park in Smiths Falls. Easy to get to by car or walk along the groomed trail. Beautiful views of the Rideau Canal for wildlife watching; lots of ducks, geese and birds to see. Bring your binoculars and look up at the large birdnests perched high throughout the park. Lots of activities...
