Comfort food at its best, but with a touch of class. KoZak's was recommended to us and I have to say it will be one of my new favorites. We were greeted with a smile and it just kept getting better from there. We were seated immediately and were quickly greeted with another smile by Victoria who turned out to be one of the most friendly and capable servers we have seen since COVID screwed everything up. Our drinks came out in a minute or so after we ordered and the food was just as quick. A mini cast iron pan with hot/fresh corn bread followed. The Buffalo Wings were meaty and the sauce was perfect. A little heat and a lot of flavor. Sorry about missing the photo op on that, but they looked too good to wait. My Cajon Pasta came out quickly too along with my wife's Steak Salad. Both were amazing and well presented. Although we were stuffed they had a Gooey Butter Cake up on the board and since we had never heard of it we had to try it. Good thing we split one. It was a 6"x6" piece of cake/cheesecake that was literally as sweet as butter and on its own would have made the trip to Smithville worth while. As we left we were once again wished farewell by not only the hostess and our server but another server as well. This was by far my favorite dining experience in years and I can't wait to go back. I have to admit that I almost didn't want to post this review. I really wanted to keep this place to myself. Yeah, it was THAT GOOD!

My husband and I drive ball here all the time. Today we finally checked it out. We just so happened to show up during a happy hour and our yummy appetizer was only $5.00. Honestly being the first thing we ate today it truly did fill us up. The southwestern egg rolls and the sauce were delicious. The crust was light and crispy. I ordered a Taco salad and my husband got the special which was pork belly burger. Ordered our daughter fish and chips to go, she said they were really crispy and good. We only wanted water today, next time we will try drinks. The atmosphere was pleasant, pleanty of seating, the inside matched the outside colors of the building, clean and inviting.

We stopped by here on our way from KC for an early dinner. The food choices were unexpected in a good way. The one mistake I made was not getting anything to drink. Their bourbon selection was lacking, if you're into that sort of thing. If you stop in here during happy hour, get the southwest egg rolls, you will not be disappointed.

Really good food! Great portion sizes, flavors, and sides! our waitress (stacy? sorry!!) was really lovely and great with quick service and refills. place was decently full but still looked like everyone was being taken care of promptly. will definitely go back when traveling through again, prices also made it worth it!

We’ve eaten here a number of times now, and every time has been phenomenal. The server is always incredibly friendly and prompt. I never find myself looking around for our sever. The cornbread is so freaking good, and the brisket meatloaf is my go to. Whenever we have friends in town, we take them here. Every dish has been phenomenal.

The burger I had was really good - medium, juicy, good melty cheddar, crispy bun. I was wishing i could have gotten a little mayo for it but it was so busy i was half way done with it by the time we saw the waitress again. The salad was weird. It was a normal bowl of chopped romaine with tons of Cucumber hunks and grape tomato halves but it was way bigger than the bowl. It was all over the table as soon as she set it down. The other person with me got a pork tenderloin with onion rings. She said it was good but not great (she's a pork tenderloin aficionado). And the onion rings were more ring and not much onion. Now that's how I like my onion rings but not her! We both were hooked by the steak we saw in their TV appearance on the morning news but the only steak they have is a 10 oz and that's a bit much for either of us! Maybe next time we'll split a steak.

I’ve heard so many great things about KoZak’s and finally tried it out. Everything was amazing. The service was quick and attentive. We started with the egg rolls, they were awesome! And we both had a burger, and they were both great. Will for sure be back!

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and gluten free friendly, this place has it all. I really enjoyed the gluten free bun on my burger (usually GF buns are dry and crumbly, but this wasn't!). The portions are large and the food is very high quality, while maintaining reasonable prices (13- 17 avg plate). I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We’ve been hearing great reviews about KoZaks in Smithville, Mo and decided to check it out. We arrived for an early dinner, 4 pm. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We chose a booth, but there were plenty of tables and high top tables in the bar area. We ordered appetizers: pretzels and beer cheese along with onion rings and a glass of blackberry wine. All delicious! Pretzels and cheese were my favorite. The wine was also a favorite-from a local winery in Smithville (Ladoga). Our dinners were a KoZak burger with bacon and fries. Fish and chips, coleslaw and fries. Burger was good and cooked per our request. Fish was hot and good. Tried the fish with malt vinegar and their homemade tartar sauce. Fries were average. Wish the coleslaw had more flavor. Our overall experience was good we will return to try KoZak Specialty dinners after 5 pm.

An upscale grill experience! Award winning chef creating a wonderful taste experience! Goat cheese and jam was so delicious on a tender perfectly grilled ground beef hamburger. My grilled salmon salad would have been awesome if the other half of the fillet had been there. It was perfectly grilled and the greens were so fresh and crisp! Who knew Smithville had a winery? I might try strawberry rhubarb next time!

Food was amazing. Wait staff was awesome. Water tasted like lake water, after a party; mud flavored. 100% could use a filter. Water affected taste of soda, Tea, and lemon water. Christmas music was a bit much on November 1. But, food... Fantastic!!
