The soup & salad bar was the best! I really wanted a burger, but my friends who have been here many times before said this place has an amazing soup/salad bar and I must try it. So me, someone who rarely eats salad, got the salad bar. And I was not disappointed at all, it was well stocked with enough to satisfy me with option of bread (blueberry bread and honey butter 😋) and amazing broccoli cheddar soup that had noodles in it!

I did the dinner buffet & wasn't impressed with a lot of the food. A few items were delicious, like the meatloaf & homemade bread. Some items we could tell weren't fresh & several items had no flavor. I didn't think it was worth the price on this particular day, for me anyway. I will go back to get the salad wagon on the top floor but I'm not sure I would get the dinner buffet again. The staff is very friendly & efficient. The decor inside & the grounds are beautiful so it was worth the drive. The place is very clean. Some food might not be what one person prefers but someone else may love it, so don't let my review of the food deter you from visiting. Salad bar was great with lots of choices & the price for buffet does include a drink, but I didn't realize that. If you get a drink it makes it worth the price more, but I got water.

We have went here for years! Very unique restaurant with lots of fun stuff to look at. Big meeting rooms available. The pond is full of ducks and there are some cute shops in the other buildings on the property. The salad bar is amazing. On the weekends they have a full buffet that is delicious. You are also still able to order from the menu if you prefer. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff and amazing food. So cool looking inside, recommend if you can to ask for a table beside the windows facing the pond.

One of our favorite places. The best soup and salad bar, a meal all on its own. Fantastic soups, chili and broccoli cheese are our favorite. After your meal, walk the grounds, sit in a swing by the water, feed the ducks, then visit the shops. A trip there is a great family outing.

A quick weekday lunch. No crowd. Plenty of seating. Prompt service. Nice lunch portion of roast beef and mashed potatos. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Greeted promptly. The host was very friendly. Our waitress could have been more friendly. However, based upon other observed interactions, the rest of the wait staff was social. The food was delicious. Pricing is on the higher end to include the Wagon. The Wagon is a Salad Bar for the cost of an additional $8.50 per person on top of your standard dinner cost. We skipped this option. Overall, we enjoyed our family dinner. Next time, we may try the buffet. On the lower level.

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. We have been coming here for years. The upstairs restaurant has a wonderful menu with one of the best salad bars I've ever seen. The downstairs has a weekend buffet that is all the great comfort foods with the same amazing salad bar. The prices are a bit higher but worth the cost. The wait can be a little long but the outside has plenty of beautiful sights and ducks to feed to help pass the time. Definitely a must visit if down in the area.

We always have a great experience at The Barn Restaurant! The food is delicious & the salad bar (wagon) is out of this world! The ingredients are always fresh, and this is the largest salad bar I have ever seen!

I have to say; this was the most enjoyable buffet I have ever gone too. There was history all around... literally! Memorabilia upstairs and down. I enjoyed a booth seat in the downs stairs buffet area with a view of the lake which was very serene. Walls accented with quilts and the waitresses in their darling country dresses. ( I heard someone say there was an elevator) The whole place felt like a museum Don't forget to check out the room on the far left once inside and waiting to be seated. Great place for children to play while waiting and for you to enjoy all the historical collections. The employees were so polite and friendly and the food was delicious to say the least.🤗 I had the best raspberry tea which was not over sweetened...Thank you! I hope you enjoy the video and images because there is so mush more to be said. It only cost $42 for 2 buffet. It was worth it. The funny thing is...No one was on their phones; they were eating and talking to each other..💥

We planned a dinner for a large party of 19 to celebrate a birthday. We arrived at around 4:00 on a Saturday and found the restaurant to be very accommodating even though they don’t take reservations. We were all seated at a long table. The wait staff was top notch. Our drink orders were taken quickly and we were directed to the buffet. Most of us started by building a salad from the extensive salad bar and this was the bright spot of the dinner. After a sampling of salad, I headed to the hot bar to find a good selection of meats and chicken as well as the usual home style buffet sides of mashed potatoes & green beans. The hot dishes were lacking in quality and taste. Soggy, over-breaded chicken, tough round steak, sausage with an unusual taste all put a damper on the event. It has been many years since my last trip to The Barn and frankly, I don’t think I’ll ever be back. There are just too many other buffet style restaurants that I’d choose before returning here.

A very unique dinning experience. Price is right, staff is very friendly. Food is greeaat!! Great variety on buffet! Waiting room is filled with memorabilia as well as games that kids can play while waiting. We had our 15 and 8 year old with us and had no complaints from either of them as they were kept busy with the games.

This is a unique dining experience. We enjoyed the barn atmosphere, all the tools and items on display, our kids had fun while waiting for our table. There is an option to get the buffet on the ground floor ( on weekends only), or go to the upstairs restaurant if you wish to order off the menu. It might be a little confusing to figure out the menu, some of the dinners include the bread bar, ( self serve), salad bar is extra. The staff is kind and attentive, food is just ok, I would say is hardly average. Maybe the downstairs buffet is better, we haven’t tried that. Cole slaw was way to sweet and way to much creamy heavy dressing, shrimp was just ok. Baked potato wasn’t freshly baked, it seemed that it was reheated. Great experience overall, too bad that we were not impressed with the food itself. There is plenty of free parking, great potential, just needs improvement on food quality.

First time there and took our grown children with us as what we thought would be a nice treat but it didn't live up to the hype. Server was not one bit friendly. Seemed to me she didn't want to be there. She didn't once smile even when we tried to joke with her. We thought it was Amish or Mennonite cooking but no way it was. Sorry but over fried potatoes and canned green beans are not home cooking. We won't be back. No way.

This was a great place to have a late lunch and not pay an arm and leg for all of us. We did the all you can eat buffet for $ 20 for adults, 15 and older, and under 15 is a buck for each year - so a 9 year old is $9. The buffet was well stocked, great variety of salad items, main course and deserts. Beverages included. The staff was excellent, well staffed, fast at getting our drinks and keeping them all topped off. The food bars were clean and all items kept stocked and the overall room was clean and orderly. The decor inside is rustic and fun, lots to see. Outside they have a big pond that is stocked with Koi fish and a whole bunch of Ducks that you can hand feed with the food from their wildlife vending machine that takes quarters. Overall a fun place to check out and enjoy. I highly recommend this place to all!!!

Great food and atmosphere. The duck pond outside is a nice activity for young kids. I would highly recommend going here for special occasions. Being from out of town the staff went out of its way to make myself and my family feel welcome. Salad bar was excellent with a wide variety.

This was my first time to this restaurant, & was very pleased with the whole experience. Amish country charm of interior is huge, & even on a busy Saturday night the wait to be seated was under 15 min. My server was sweet and attentive to all our requests. Lastly, the broiled trout & side dishes I tried were absolutely delicious. And the cherry pie I had warmed with real home made whip cream was to die for! I know they have a buffet but I just can't finish more than one plateful of food! Will return again soon to try more of their featured menu items. The big pond outside with many ducks & geese is also a nice added feature to check out after your meal.

To the owners and management of this amazing restaurant. You've done a great job with your stuff keep treating them well and they will continue to treat your customers the way we were treated today. My waitress had me in tears and I had to leave my table. She was amazing she made our night. Thank you again. We came here from Delaware to fulfill a bucket list item. My husband has stage for terminal cancer. They took such great care of us. Amazing people

This is a fascinating place with very picturesque grounds and fantastic food. We had the soup & salad bar. They had four different soups and one of the more extensive salad bars I've ever visited. It is very doubtful you'll leave hungry.

Love a good salad bar? This is the place to go. Be sure to check out their specials. You really do visit a working farm that has a dine in barn. What a great country drive destination. They also have a nearby toy store and specialty goods store for baking needs.

👍👍 Comfort food at its best, but with a touch of class. KoZak's was recommended to us and I have to say it will be one of my new favorites.
