A beautiful ruin which is gradually being developed for tourism. Quiet and off the beaten track, but well worth the deviation. Climb the tower for the lovely view of the surrounding area. Good place for a break . Take a picnic! Highly recommended.

Nice historical area to visit. Free visit, no payment. Good restauration work done so far.

A little gem in a wonderful location. Don't hesitate to book a bnb in the area to spend a couple days here, there are plenty of walks to enjoy.

Take your time to wander around. We travelled back in time with each step we took, higher into the tower. Off the beaten track but well worth the effort.

I love this little chateau, it gets less footfall than many so it's a nice quiet spot for a picnic

Nice quiet place, there is a spiral staircase up to the top of the tower. It is free and unmanned Lovely spot for a picnic

Super festival

Die Ruine einer Schlossanlage aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, dessen Donjon (Turm) noch steht und der auch komplett begehbar ist. Die Ruine selber ist nicht begehbar, aber eine gepflegte Wiese und ein angeschlossener Wald laden zum Verweilen ein. Den letzten der fünf Sterne hätte es gegeben, wenn die Toilette nicht nur am Wochenende geöffnet wäre und wenn es ein kleines gastronomisches Angebot gegeben hätte. Direkt nebenan lud zwar eine Terrasse zum Einkehren ein, aber wir wurden wieder weggeschickt, weil wir nur Getränke, aber kein Essen verzehren wollten. Für Fans des französischen Filmemachers Jean Rollins natürlich ein Muss.

Open to visitors. Nice place to visit and walk.
