Dhaba Beas

Restaurant Vegetarian restaurant

👍👍 An affordable place with a good selection for vegetarians as well as vegans. Inspired by Asian cuisine. Everything I've tried here was very tasty. My favorite meal is noodles with peanut sauce. Some meals are slightly spicy. Been there 4 or 5 times and always satisfied. If you're looking for a buffe... Hey guys … Please don’t come here, it’s a big scam. The food isn’t that great, it’s cold and not warm, it’s not worth the price. I wish i could give no rating but there is no option unfortunately.

I was here 2 days ago in Prague from Berlin...I personally know this city in North of Punjab in India. I really like the concept that we can pay by weighing the plate according to Kilogram (Kg). It's totally Vegan and Vegetarian food... delicious and not spicy Indian food. As per my knowledge it's 29 Czech Krona per 100 grams (gm) of food. Highly recommended.

A buffet-style restaurant that offers a wonderful selection of Asian-inspired vegetarian and vegan cuisine. You can mix up dishes to your taste or ask the staff for recommendations. I recommend any of the curry dishes for a first-time visit. An good spacious spot for a light snack or hearty meal.

Curries were completely cold. Kadai paneer was tofu, which tasted of nothing - please call it what it is. Salads were wet and unappetising. All very underwhelming, and it worked out extremely expensive for a normal sized meal. I could have spent less on much better, fancier food elsewhere, including a full Indian meal. So, it's nice to have a veggie chain like this, but all in all disappointing. Edited to add: the next day I had a soup, main course, large slice of cake, and two large IPA beers for the same price as some very basic, cold food here. Honestly, I'm disgusted at what I was charged.

Awesome Indian spread in the heart of Prague that too at affordable cost. We had lunch/dinner for 3 consecutive days. Will highly recommend it.

Food was ok, but mostly cold and was probably standing there all day already (we went around 18:15). Drinks were good and affordable. Food was weighed incorrectly so was forced to overpay. Given the amount of plates I noticed with food still on it, I would say - don't take too much, you will get full fast. Wouldn't necessarily recommend going here although it is not that bad.

Dhaba Beas in Prague offers a delightful range of vegan and vegetarian Indian dishes. The food is not only flavorful but also caters to a variety of dietary preferences, making it a haven for those seeking plant-based options. The buffet-style serving allows patrons to customize their plates by weighing their selections, which generally results in good value for the money. However, be aware that some items might not be included in the plate weighing, so it's best to double-check with the staff. During our visit, we decided to try their burger. Unfortunately, the one we received had been sitting out for a while and was cold. While this was disappointing, the overall variety and quality of the food still made for a pleasant dining experience. If you're in Prague and craving some vegan Indian cuisine, Dhaba Beas is worth a visit. Just be mindful of the freshness of the food when making your selections, and don't hesitate to ask the staff for assistance

Ok food but nothing special. Expensive stuff for not such high food quality. The curry was too sweet. The summer rolls were dry on the surface, therefore impossible to chew almost. On the final bill I got some unexpected extras.

Self service veggie buffet. Our Prague 'guide' says there are several in the city but this one has the best selection. Load up a metal tray with as much as you can eat from a wide range of hot and cold dishes then pay based on weight (note: a few of the dishes have a small supplement so check the labels). Literally all I could eat for less than 10 quid. So good we've been three times.

(Translated by Google) Food quite good with a fairly large selection, hot buffet, cold, vegetable salads, fresh coffee ... Although relatively spicy with a distinctive taste, so I recommend mixing with unflavored rice. The staff was appalling, they could barely speak Czech and were rude when I wanted to pack the rest of the food with me, the lady at the cash register rolled her eyes. They remembered about 10 minutes in the back, even though the lady saw me. Even when she went to the cash register, she returned to discuss something with her colleague ... Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant, Indian music was playing, which fortunately did not disturb much. I appreciate free water at every table. The restaurant is air conditioned and toilets are on site. The price of 23 CZK / 100g is classic for vegan buffets. I recommend (Original) Jídlo celkem dobré s poměrně velkým výběrem, teplého bufetu, studeného, zeleninových salátů, čerstvé kávy... Ačkoli poměrně kořeněné výraznou chutí, takže doporučuji míchat s neochucenou rýží. Personál otřesný, Česky skoro neuměli a byli drzí, když jsem chtěl zbytek jídla zabalit s sebou, paní u kasy obrátila oči vsloup.

Food was dry and really stiff. Pricing was odd (maybe because I can't speak Czech but waitress explained me differently then what the receipt says.) Some dishes where nice, like the quiche. Location is good and enough places to sit down. I found it not a good price for the quality and quantity that I've gotten.

The food was all cold and some fried things there very hard to chew. We went at 5:30pm and it seemed like it was noon’s food that they had kept there. It was quite expensive and we ended up paying for some stuff two times as you was for it by weight and then a supplement for some of the items (samosas for example). Would not really recommend, you can have way better vegan experiences in Prague for the same price.

(Translated by Google) Restaurant at full opening great but after closing and picking up only a real disappointment. Compared to the Karlín branch, almost half of the Thai menu. Hard soy steak. Definitely at this time I'd rather go to another branch, it's a pity, you're cooking super, I'd like to fine-tune it, if I experienced this as a new customer, I'll never come back, which is a shame.

You have to be in this only Indian vegetarian food chain atleast once when you are in Prague. They serve right from Roti (indian bread) to sweet dishes like Rawa Halwa , raita etc. You should visit this place before 6 pm to get chapati. Sadly we visited it late so we enjoyed 3 types of rice and daal , sabjis and sweets.

I am writing this review as i finished my food here. It is the worst ever Indian food I ever ate in my entire trips around the world. 1) Everything was cold. They were storing the food only with warm water. 2) Samosa and curry was stale. How can one Seve stale food? (TBH I felt so bad after eating food. I just wish not to fall 🤢 sick) 3) It cost 180 kc per person, which is not at all cheap. You can have amazing buffet at other indian Restaurant at this price. I really want my money back. Such a waste

I was amazed to get absolutely Indian vegetarian Food in Prague. Fortunately My Bus was delayed by an hour and I got an opportunity to visit nearby Vegetarian food. They have buffet system and you can pickup any thing you wish from Indian food to Prague local food everything is vegetarian. After selecting the dishes you have to measure the weight of food and based on that you need to pay for the same. After selecting dishes of my choice I payed around 5 euros which is nominal price for getting an good vegetarian food in Prague. So it’s a must go for vegetarians 🌱.

This is one of my favourite Dhaba restaurants as it has a huge variety of food...salads... the restaurant on its own is very spacious, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot to sit... as I had that kind of problem in other restaurants... There's been nothing I could complain about... YET. Haha. PS: I am not a vegetarian and I am sure more than half of the guests aren't either... their food is so good, you don't even need meat! and the price for the food is great.

Nice chain in Prague to have Indian, Asian and other veg, non-veg food options in affordable price. They charge based on the weight of food items on your plate. We tried Palak Paneer, Mix Veg, Dal, Steam Rice, Yellow Rice, Rice Risotto, Samosa, Papadam, Pad Thai, Sorte Veges, Soya chunks, Veg Rice Spring rolls. Indian items were especially tasty, Pad Thai and Sorte Veges as well. Samosa could have been better, outer shell and deep fried wise. But overall good option.

Pretty huge selection of vegan food. The downside for foreigners is that the menu isn't in english and the staff barely speak the language also, so it appears to be targeted predominantly towards locals. Nevertheless, I really liked what I ate, I'm not totally sure what I ate and I ate a lot. Prices are also pretty affordable. Definitely worth a visit for vegans and vegetarians.

Dhaba Beas indian like food restaurant chain with restaurants located in several locations over the Prague center. Each of them offers same kind of food with quality very close to each other. The food is tasty and they have plenty varieties of vegetarian and vegan food in India style. The food is offered in form of buffet and cost is per weight. For some things there is an additional cost per piece and for others, like soup, the cost is only per piece. In overall food is not cheap (for locals) but price is reasonable. The only problems of this particular restaurant are at first horrible lighting, which is very visible flickering of LED lighting all the time (so I got headache each time I visited this location) and the second problem is HVAC which is setup to throw chilled air around majority of tables so food got cold very quickly and someone can feel cold.

An affordable place with a good selection for vegetarians as well as vegans. Inspired by Asian cuisine. Everything I've tried here was very tasty. My favorite meal is noodles with peanut sauce. Some meals are slightly spicy. Been there 4 or 5 times and always satisfied. If you're looking for a buffet-style veg restaurant in Prague, this is a place to go!
