Traveling with HEKIMA SAFARIS in 5 days were we visited different national parks like Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro was a great experience interacting with your tour guides. They knew so much about the places that we came back enlightened with the knowledge of the land. They answered all our questions without any fuss. We really had a very nice time and the food was so delicious. Travel with "Hekima Safaris" you'll never regret.

Hekima Safaris East Africa is definitely the way to go when you want to support local Tanzanian businesses, as well as have one of the best safari products out there, it makes you remember the animal TV shows when you were a kid. They provided the best services and guides (Juma and the rest) on our 5 day Safari in Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. They have the access to some of the best accommodation in all the national parks, so I highly suggest that you go with the trusted name in Safaris, #GoHekima Eli and the guys are the best 👌

This has been one of the top most memorable experiences. Richard patiently communicated their budget, midrange and luxurious programs prior to my arrival. I went for the luxurious option, which made the experience five out of five stars. Our guide Gab was experienced and funny :-). He was really good at spotting animals. Thanks to him, we saw lions on the action , and different animals on action (hunting etc! I was so lucky to choose the luxurious lodges. Kubukubu, the tented lodge I stayed in Serengeti, was like a dream. At night I heard lions roaring outside my tent! The only regret is that I didn’t stay there for an additional night! Tarangire Safari lodge at the center of Tarangire was also beyond my expectations. The room was very nice and spacious. I enjoyed the views ❤️. Thank you Hekima for the wonderful holiday! I will definitely book with you again when I am ready for Uganda/Kenya or Rwanda. Keep doing what your doing .

I cannot recommend Hekima Safaris enough. From the moment I contacted them about my trip, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to all my needs. They provided me with a detailed itinerary and answered all my questions, which made me feel at ease and confident about my upcoming adventure. The hike itself was an incredible experience. The Machame route was challenging but rewarding, and the scenery was breathtaking. The guides and porters from Hekima Safaris were exceptional. They were friendly, experienced, and always ready to lend a hand when needed. Their knowledge about the mountain, flora, and fauna was impressive, and they were happy to share stories and answer all of my questions. The food and accommodation provided by Hekima Safaris were of excellent quality. Despite being in the middle of the mountain, we were well-fed and well-rested throughout the journey. The food was delicious, and they accommodated all dietary needs, which was a great relief for me. Reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro was an emotional and unforgettable experience, and I am grateful to have had Hekima Safaris by my side throughout the journey. They provided an exceptional experience that exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning to hike Kilimanjaro. They truly care about their clients and go above and beyond to ensure they have the best possible experience.

My friend and I are back from a 12-day trip with Hekima Safaris - a climb of Kilimanjaro (Lemosho route) and a 5 day safari, with a few rest and travels days mixed in. I can say without any hesitation whatsoever that this was a trip of a lifetime and that we picked the right travel company with which to entrust all of the details. Picking a travel company for a Kilimanjaro trek requires a leap of faith - they are mostly local companies without any brand recognition. I found Hekima Safaris through my own research, and they quickly won my confidence. The sales manager who fielded my initial inquires, Richard, is simply extraordinary- helpful, thorough, responsive, and professional without being pushy. Long after we committed to this trip, Richard was my primary point of contact, and I am very grateful for all of his help. Every question about everything- packing, logistics, preparation- Richard was my go to person and he always got me the information I needed. Thank you Richard and ofcourse the owner Mopoo (Eli :)! Our lead mountain guide and his team were likewise excellent- the mountain guides, cooks, porters, you name it- every last person we dealt with excelled at their job and was committed to our safety, well being and comfort every step along the way. Richard and his team did a great job of communicating with us, and likewise keeping the mood upbeat. Make no mistake about it, this is a serious trek, but this team of professionals got us both to the summit and back- we are very grateful for the entire team for leading us through it all! A tip for those considering this trip- get the private toilet. The public toilets at the campsites and heavily used, potentially a long, cold walk from your tent and generally disgusting. The private toilet is a small price to pay for sanitary conditions. On the safari, our guide Maulid and Ambrosia was outstanding. They seems to know everything about everything out there! They are very personable and was really committed to making sure they tailored each day to fit our needs. We very much enjoyed his company on the long, bumpy rides across the 3 parks we visited. They are dedication to us on this trip- our safety, comfort and enjoyment- is a tribute to they are skills as guides. Finally, all of the hotels booked through Hekima Safaris were great, and also a shout out to the drivers who seamlessly transferred us from place to place Ambrosia :-). Hekima has a real 'spirit of customer service' that is evident in every interaction we had with everyone before, during and after the trip. In closing, I simply cannot say enough good things about Hekima and the trip in general- thanks to everyone who made it happen.
