Very nice people here. Breakfast is ok. I got a free upgrade on my room. But you can see that it is not the newest one. You can hear the train passing by - this could be a problem if you don't sleep really tight.

Bit old and slightly run down although not too bad. Staff is friendly and breakfast is ok but when staying more than one night the lack of facilities in the hotel (no bar, no real lobby) gets annoying just like the very frequent trains. Still an ok option for a short business stay if you need to be near the center of Solingen.

Location: the hotel was a 10-15 walk to restaurants. Rooms: the rooms were basic but comfortable. Complimentary water bottles provided was quite small, so you might have to purchase more. Bathtub was dark when you drew the bath curtains.

terrible. I forgot my key at room and there is no one at reception after 10.00 pm . There is only one guy standing. He helped and opened my room. I searched my room and could not find the key. In the morning ı went reception and request new key. They request 50 eur for the new key. I did not accept and that night they did not open my room although ı paid cash whole my stay. I paid 50 eur and got the new key. And ı saw my room key in my room at first apperance that I m able to see and ı went reception how the key was in my room on the desk it was not there.. unbelievable.... do not stay this hotel they are looking for to get extra money from your pocket.. ı never stay there anymore

We have been coming here every year twice or more the last 3 years. Older but well maintained, ask for garden side if available, breakfast @ 8 euros is worth every euro spent. Great staff and close proximity to everywhere by fast train. I could go on on. My favorite strasse is dusseldorfer right across from hbf ( train station) in Solingen. Pedestrians only.

Well this is my fair review so please read till the end!! ---------------------------- 1. Price : i spent two nights 50 euro each in a Medika expo 2017 season wich is fair price for the service expectation . 2. Hygen and polution : fair and the staff is more than just friendly 😍 even my german was a little poor but they were serving with a loving-job like smile. And that made me adubt my expectations.😎 3.the coffee: is way over my expectation plus its free. 4. Transportation : its located in a district/dorf .so public transport or car rentail is not an issue. 5. Again the staff : arr just awesome and are giving a fair relation with thier allowed space of tollerance. 6. Would i come back ?. I can't find why not!.

No parking space. That's the most annoying issue. Rest of all...👌 price is equal to the service

Nice cozzy rooms, good breakfast but the only thing I didn't like their was they don't have arrangments for laundry of your clothes.

Too close to the busy-railway won't allow a quiet rest in all night. No Air Conditioning installed, terrible during warm nights.
