Stopped
here
for
lunch
Sunday
last
while
cycling
on
the
superb
Voie
Verte
rail-to-trail
bike
path
on
a
cold
and
misty
day.
A
roaring
fire
in
the
dining
room
fireplace
was
just
the
thing
to
warm
us
up.
The
fixed
price
lunch
was
a
delicious
4
course
meal
of
locally
sourced
duck,
vegetables,
cheese
and
walnuts.
The
Sarlat-style
pan
fried
potatoes
were
especially
good.
We
Americans
tend
to
eat
quickly,
but
the
food
and
atmosphere
was
so
inviting
that
we
dined
for
two
hours.
We
will
likely
never
visit
the
area
again
but
this
was
a
memorable
day
for
us.
