We
visited
TUI
Magic
Life
Penelope
Beach
as
a
couple
in
early
October.
The
park
is
very
tidy
with
wonderfully
maintained
gardens.
When
you
arrive
the
staff
greets
you
with
a
nice
drink
and
they
are
quick
to
help
you
move
your
luggage.
We
had
a
wonderful
holiday
at
the
resort,
even
though
there
are
things
that
can
be
improved
for
sure.
Our
experiences:
Positives:
Breakfast,
lunch
and
dinner
are
great!
The
Tunisian
A
la
carte
restaurant
is
amazing,
they
have
an
extensive
breakfast,
lunch
and
evening
meal
buffet.
The
desserts
are
delicious,
great
pastries,
cleaning
of
the
rooms
is
on
point
(public
toilets
could
be
better),
good
and
friendly
children's
facilities,
friendly
service,
everyone
seems
to
enjoy
their
work:
the
staff
in
general
REALLY
deserves
praise!
Dromedaries,
horses
and
photographers
(for
a
fee)
available
on
the
beach,
a
clean
beach
with
included
sunbeds,
themed
entertainment
every
evenings,
on-site
souvenir
shop,
spa
and
doctor's
office
are
located
at
the
resort.
You
can
book
outings
through
Ali
near
the
reception,
which
are
very
well
organized
outings
with
e.g.
a
carriage
or
quads.
Included
activities
can
be
booked
through
the
Magic
Life
app,
which
generally
works
really
well!
Some
points
to
improve:
Straps
come
loose
quite
easily,
after
which
you
have
to
queue
at
reception
to
have
them
fixed.
Not
a
smoke-free
park
as
indicated,
which
is
especially
annoying.
Smoking
took
place
in
all
outdoor
areas
of
restaurants,
bars
and
on
pool
loungers,
including
shisha.
It
seems
like
the
guests
just
don't
care
and
the
staff
is
too
nice
to
correct
them.
Regarding
food;
not
much
vegan
options
in
the
buffet,
although
vegetarian
options
are
available
in
spades.
Half
of
the
buffet
has
no
nameplate;
this
is
a
real
easy
fix
and
would
help
people
out
a
lot!
We
had
a
sports
activity
canceled
without
notification,
which
was
a
bummer.
Some
guests
that
want
to
watch
a
football
match
claim
the
entire
main
lounge
with
VERY
loud
noise,
making
it
impossible
to
chill
out.
Regarding
drinks:
there
is
no
ice
tea
in
the
entire
park,
which
is
a
bit
weird.
Not
all
cocktails
can
be
ordered
at
all
bars
even
though
the
menus
all
list
them.
Finally,
you
can
only
hand
in
the
bath
towels
in
one
time
slot
and
pick
them
up
in
another
time
slot,
which
is
quite
limiting
if
you
want
freedom
to
plan
your
day
(although
we
can
imagine
that
this
might
be
part
of
the
eco-policy,
in
which
case
it's
understandable).
Side
notes:
Some
employees
speak
little
or
no
English;
they
mainly
speak
German
and
of
course
French
and
Arabic.
Not
a
real
issue,
but
know
that
you
really
need
to
speak
French
or
German
to
order
your
food.
There
is
no
ATM
in
the
resort
and
you
cannot
pay
by
card
at
all
places,
so
you
need
cash.
The
nearest
ATM
was
out
of
order,
so
we
walked
through
the
streets
to
the
next
one
(assume
you'd
have
to
walk
about
20
minutes
in
total
at
least).
