Air conditioning did not work or was very weak in the rooms. We went with a group so every room had the same issue, it couldve been a lot cooler for how hot it was. Service was good overall, a few waiters/ bartenders stood out more than others which we generously tipped but some seemed to have an attitude about serving all inclusive drinks. Location isn't great, not much near the hotel & entertainment wasn't amazing in the evenings, so will have to go out a bit to explore.

The hotel is older but very clean. Nice service. The food is very good. Quite a lot of older people. A quiet place if someone is not looking for chaos. Be careful when using WiFi networks. The network is unsecured and scans your devices. I don't know to what extent, but they have complete access to your data. If you don't have a properly secured device, they can steal everything.

Best hotel we have been to! Staff were amazing, pool bar was great, hotel rooms balcony and view were great. Very spacious rooms and modern. Animation team were great!! Lilo, Mimi!! Location is great right on the beach within walking distance with beach bar included in all inclusive for drinks! Found ourselves comparing other hotels to this one as we had such a good time here in June last year, as a young couple, we were worried there wouldn’t be much to do but found plenty to fill the 2 weeks! Would definitely return! ☀️

I was SO disappointed by my stay at this hotel. It was a complete let down. First off the pictures of the room are nothing like of that online (from booking.com). Secondly, I had booked a room with a bath — specifically paying extra for it only to be given a room without one and claiming this was the nicer room anyway. Sir, ima need you to give me what I paid for. There were no toiletries provided- no shampoo, toothpaste, nothing. And the soap was in a dispenser so be sure to bring your own toiletries if you do intend on staying here. I don’t know what kind of four star hotel doesn’t provide toiletries. The fridge didn’t have any water or sodas in it either AND the tv in the room didn’t even work?! Oh yea and let me not forget to mention our toilet barely flushed. The food was mediocre- always tasted like it was just heated overnight and not fresh at all. All in all, I don’t know why this is considered a 4 star hotel. It’s 3 stars AT BEST. And even then I’d rate it 2-2.5. Don’t recommend at all. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Please save your coins- I wish I could get a refund.

The hotel, though close by the beach and convenient for exploring Sousse, is very old, tired and in need of an extensive renovation The staff do their best but lack direction/leadership and, sorry to say, training The food is dire - cold, unseasoned and totally unappealing What is available has no cohesion at all Cheese is bland, pasta - which was already cooked - was then flash fried to order !! Pizza looked delicious but was placed onto wooden blocks and so went cold Oh and the entertainment - well I’m mature enough that I don’t need entertaining but thought I’d have a look - it’s an absolute joke, it really is, embarrassing actually I could go on but wanted to be brief Don’t go, at any price, save your money

Service was mixed, as some staff were wonderful, and others not so much. The food was good for an all inclusive and the beach bar where we had lunch everyday was a perfect setting overlooking the sea. We never left the hotel as we went specifically to relax.

Advertised as 4 star but parts seem more like 3 star. The lobby and dining area look very outdated. The fridge had leaked water over the floor and shelves on our first night and although the staff attended to this immediately it was a major inconvenience as I had to clean it myself and my belongings were wet. The room was spacious, very nice apart from ants and loud slow-flushing toilets. The food is mass produced and therefore not the tastiest but there is a lot of variety. The cocktails on the all inclusive menu are horrible, taste cheap and full of syrup. The garden and pool area are lovely and thereis access to a lovely private beach. The waiters and cleaners are very hard working. We stayed during New Years Eve and although we had paid for all inclusive we were told we would have to pay another 95Dhiram each for the special NYE dinner menu, we refused but on the night luckily we were granted entry. Some other guests who were in the same position and paid for all inclusive too were not as lucky, they were delivered a depressing hopeless plate of chicken and rice to their rooms which seemed very unfair and a big arguement broke out about it on the night at the hotel entrance. Due to the misinformation we received with demand for extra money from reception staff, the unfair treatment of the other guests and the outdated look of parts of the hotel I would not recommend this hotel as there are so many other beautiful resorts to choose from.

The hotel is nice but the rooms are very dated and small we had 2 adjacent rooms with an interconnecting door which was good for us as a family. Over you cant complain the food was not the best at all and what you expect from these 3 star hotels. Sometimes it was hard to find something to eat but we did manage to get by most of the times. They also have a private beach which also has a snack bar which serves a small selection. The service was ok and they are always trying to keep you happy here. The animation team was fun and friendly but sometimes it got boring and was the same old routine. You can find local food places outside we went to a shisha cafe within a few mins walk which was very nice and a local burger place which is well worth a visit.

We had a great time at this lovely hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive; the room was great; all areas were kept very clean. We were out of season so some of the amenities weren't available, but that's to be expected. The food (on the whole) was good, not great, but I found the Tunisian & other North African fare to be delicious. Some highlights would be the on-site spa and its brilliant staff, the pool (areas) indoor and out, the beach, and the view from sea-view balconies. On the whole, fantastic value for money and a wonderful holiday.

Booked all inclusive for 1 week in October. Absolutely amazing. Old buildings but extremely clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful sea and pool view on our balcony. Booked a 3 session spa treatment at the spa on site. Would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a full relax and detox. Would Absolutely book this place again. Thank you for everything and more. Sitting here on our balcony on our last night wishing we were here longer

Wonderful hotel, excellent location for relaxing, swimming in the sea and in the pool. The waiters were exceptional and went out of their way to help you not only in the dining area but by the side of the pool as well with the lifeguards helping to set up beds and parasols. I ordered a glass of wine and didn't get past the first sip 😬 not the best....... I wasn't too bothered as the wine isn't what I went on holiday for. The food was alright, lots of choices but it lacked that special something...... (e.g. the veg had lost the colour in the cooking process and was dull rather than vibrant) we always had full bellies and attended every meal time (fully inclusive) though so I hope this doesn't sound too harsh. The pancakes, doughnuts and desserts were wonderful 😋.

I have to share my positive experience with Hotel Marhaba Beach. 1. Cleanliness - extra clean, perfect, towels changed every day 2. Food - excellent, every day different, very taste, big variety, big choice of everything everyday 3.Beach - clean, sandy, wide, clear water, connected to the hotel, beach beds and umbrellas available free of charge, towels available with a deposit 4. Pool - nice shape, open bar in the pool, beds and umbrellas around the pool, clean water, clean area 4. Entertainment - rich entertainment program, very kind entertainers, every day and night different program 5. Food at the beach - lunch served at the beach bar, plus pizzas/sandwiches in between the meals 6. Exchange office in the hotel 7. Food at the A la Carte restaurant is extra 8. Spa Center is clean and nice 9. PERSONNEL - 10********** - Staff at the reception are extraordinary polite, very positive on any request, calm and helpful. Staff in the restaurant, bars, all perfect, smiled, makes the whole atmosphere very positive. Room staff very unobtrusive, working quietly and perfectly detailed. All STAFF in the hotel are a big, big hearts. 10. Location - perfect, quiet but still with a busy life out of the hotel, connected to the beach, close to the centre of Sousse and close to El Kantaoui Marina In one word - I had an extremely pleasant stay in Hotel Marhaba Beach, I recommend it with my whole heart, and for sure will be back there again***

#Hotel Marhaba Beach. In #soussa, #Sousse. I give them 5 stars feedback, good service and a really friendly staff. I'm planning to stay here 3 days, but definitely going to come moreover. The hotel from the year 1984, with really nice oriental design in the front and lobby, decorating from inside as a western style.rooms comfortable and clean, extra towels the beach i next to the room. Coming this time in the winter, the place are not too crowded ( which is better for me) coming in the summer you'll see more ppl and maybe also more activities. The city soussa is also a good place to stay, too much hotels, many restaurants, clubs, caffès... Etc really a fine place to hangout. A place worth to visit.

The location is great by the beach, the spa has lovely friendly staff, and Houda is giving great ayurveda massage. The room with sea view for 3 people is a bit of a con, one extra folding bed added to the room, and we are struggling for space. We have to suffer until Saturday as the receptionist could not help with another room. Sadly, we won't come back to this hotel if we ever come back to Tunisia.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and outer areas. The private beach is amazing, clear waters and softest sand, very well supervised by the staff. Rooms a bit small, and the dining area pretty crowded, but many options for all meals. All in all, a great place for a family holiday.

2nd day here. So far it is allright. The beach is splendid. Rooms are OK, cleaned daily so far. Food is varied, with some traditional inspired dishes and the usual continental stuff - to summ it all up: allright. There are some quirks and stuff that could be improved (eg cocktail list is kept secret, drinking glasses are tiny etc) but in general it's OK. Day 4: Still good! Rooms are being cleaned daily. Food is good (tasty, plenty and varied). The Beach is OK (sometimes with debris... but hey: everything is like that in Tunisia). The pool - I can't tell... we're mountain people, we're here for the sea, not the pool.

This hotel is awesome, rooms, food, pool are amazing but what really makes this special is the animation team, they are so friendly and welcoming, they run all the day and night time activities and it is outstanding. Mo Mo, Kris and the team really have made our holiday top notch. Thank you to you all we will miss you all. 👌👍😊

I stayed here for 7 nights as part of a Tui package. As a solo female traveller. I did not use the pool, I also wasn't into the entertainment (personal choice). The moorish cafe was not open during my stay, but there are plenty of space/chairs/sunbed if you just want to relax. Food is plentiful, dont bother with the european options, the tunisian dishes and their local style bread are consistently the best. I got a massage package and had a massage almost every day I was there. It was nearly double the price of the hamman in the city, but saves the headache of haggling taxi price daily, and probably worth it. I can be very picky with my massage. I highly recommend Amal, good solid technique and works on the more problematic area rather than just "going through the motions." Axana on the Spa reception desk had also been very helpful, I can't see how the place can run without her. I wouldn't call it a luxury hotel, but it would be accurate to say everyone in this hotel is very friedly and happy to help. The quality of service, room, facility and the tunisian friendliness is rather good value for money :)

Clean, friendly staff, even with main pool being renovated they managed to keep activities going and second pool provided. Indoor pool too. Food gave a large range to choose from with happy helpful chefs and service. Excellent all round. Room very clean, crisp bedding, comfortable beds. Easy walking distance to shops with taxi or shuttle bus nearby if required. Very good security, we felt very safe and cared for. Quick reactions to any slight issues. We are already planning for next year.

Friendly staff. An excellent escape to enjoy some sunshine and well deserved break from daily routine. Perfect to explore surrounding treasures like El Jem or get a nice wellness treatment at the the nearby Antistress Hammam.

This little gem of a hotel is a little rough around the edges but makes up for it in bucket loads with the staff and atmosphere. Finishes arnt perfect, if I had to be picky this would be my only criticism. The staff are so friendly, warm and accommodating, they will do anything to make your stay better and the drink and food is absolutely delicious. The menu is full and all tastes are catered for. Entertainment is from the 80s but the drag queens show is well worth it and is family friendly, so is the disco and the karaoke. Everything in the hotel is spotless if a little in need of update. If you see this on Tui, book it as it will be a great price and memorable for the right reasons. We stayed for 1 week and we will definitely return.

Spent one night at the hotel with my wife. Usually, we stay at the Marhaba Royal Salem but tried Marhaba Beach this time. Our room was clean, nice, and updated(compared to many rooms at the Royal Salem). Food was typical Tunisian resort food, it was what we expected. Friendly staff, although it was always weird ordering drinks from the main bar. The main bartender wasn't overly friendly, felt like we were bothering him for a drink. He did do his job well and knew exactly what we meant and wanted. Overall we enjoined our time and wouldn't hesitate to go back if it was just myself and my wife. Would likely continue to go back Royal Salem if we brought our kids, more things for the kids to do there and much larger facilities. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing resort, Marhaba Beach will do

Fantastic hotel and likewise with TUI to book through. Great place to recharge and soak up the culture seeing 60% of the country. They have a great team running the hotel and are an absolute credit to the industry. Food was delicious with a great variety (first all inclusive) although as a vegetarian my protein count was definitely down for dinner and lunch. Brilliant kitchen team however, brilliant staff in general - you're in good hands!! ✈️🇹🇳🌞🏖️🏊😍🌴🥗🍲🍛😋👍

Okay experience, we stayed for 3 nights of our 12 day trip as couldn’t book anywhere else. Found a cockroach in my bathroom and they took ages to fix the problem. Some receptionists were nice and others difficult. Kitchen staff are very nice but food is average. Beach path by hotel is nice and clean place but wouldn’t call this 4 stars by UK standards, this is more 3 star hotel IMO but decent pricing

Worst experience I ever had. We are travelling a lot around the world and never ever been in such a bad place like this hotel. Hotel is dirty, communal areas are very heavily used, carpet are so dirty , looks like never been changed since opened, all sofas and chairs in the lobby and bar has some dirty stains on it. Food and drink is just awful, everything is from the vending machines , even coffee which is served in paper cups. Snack bar serving only old , dry cakes and uncooked pizza. Buffet very poor. Everyday same food. Very often yesterdays food been served , all dishes been uncooked!!! No fresh juice , not bananas and florist fruits at all, every day apples , pears , grapes … very poor quality of food and drinks ! Nothing like in the pictures. !! One pool where site states there is several pools , gym treadmill broken, no AC in the rooms. Only sound come on , cold not gone through at all. Staff tried to convince us it’s working only because sounds go on. Very nasty and angry man on the beach , you can not move sun bed like you want as he starting to shout on you and being very angry. Water in fountains is off. I can not find any positive about this place. Avoid this place at all cost. Hotel maximum for 2.5 stars ! For sure not 4!

Overall honesty opinion been here twice for 2 weeks a time and I can honestly and truthfully say the value for money is good weather is amazing beaches are clean and beautiful entertainment on the other hand needs improving. Gym is not in good state needs money spending on it. Food is good but repetitive at times could do with more grilled food but there are choices desserts are okay and fruit is great 👍 overall 7 out of 10 for me

We had a great stay at Marhaba Beach. The room was lovely and modern, and the food decent enough. Probably more of a 3 star hotel than a 4 star but for the price we paid we were really happy with it. The friendly staff made us feel so welcome.

  • 5/5 Les B. 1 year ago on Google
Wow what can I say love this place everyone really friendly and helpful the room was kept really clean and tidy we had the same lady apart from her day off. The beach was fantastic and the man who looks after the people who go to the beach needs more credit he does an amazing job. Food, entertainment was also good, really looking forward to coming back. Thankyou to everyone you all made our holiday special. Les and Tracey Busby l

The hotel was pretty good. Even though the facade was little old overall the rooms were clean, spacious and the sea view room was worth it. Food was good, drinks were all bad which is expected for all inclusive but the bar gave you free bottled water which was a plus. You can go on the roof and see a lot of the Sousse beach from the hotel. There are safes at reception if your tour guide scares you about how they can steal your phone etc however the beach is private, there are umbrellas for the hotel and it has security so bringing any valuables to it was not a risk. That cannot be said for the free part of the beach where it is very crowded and stealing is common. The sand is like flour really tiny and pleasant. Overall I recommend the hotel.

Had great holiday the most friendly staff we've ever come across on our travels. Got remember the star rating of the hotel, but to be honest I've stayed in Sensatori and I'd rather stay here than I one of them, we'll done to all staff and animation team and hi to all the lovely people we met. See you next year.

Unprofessional staff and not polite. I had a reservation that he did not want to honor at the desk .i told him i would pay full price for a room .he told me no go deal with the travel agency and come back .and then he acted like hes calling his superviser and came back to tell me that the hotel is fully booked even though i heard him talking in the phone to someone n telling him that he has rooms available. I took my self and went to an other hotel

This place has had the best view rooms. Literally that view alone is a 10/10. However, the room wasn’t that clean, also it was a bit old. Wifi barely works and breakfast isn’t the greatest either. Overall though, the view was worth the stay.

  • 5/5 Iva 1 year ago on Google
Everything was great. Room was very clean, towels and sheets were changed daily. Food was diverse and I think that everyone can find something to eat and to be satisfied. Animators and waiters are also very kind and always smiling🤗
