I went to two 4 stars resort in tunisia during my stay, could clearly see the difference, this is a 2 stars resort at best, not appropriate for families Rooms don't look like advertised pictures, everything broken in my room (no power, leeking AC, broken TV...) staff was never able to fix during full week. A lot of à la carte services and beverages even on all-inclusive plan. Staff smile and helpful only with tips. Thalasso & gym closed since COVID... I could go on forever...

The reception staff is rude and unhelpful. Big compliments to Mrs. Ines, who solved all our problems with a smile. Our room was decent with old painted furniture, but clean. The maid on the second floor is very efficient and friendly. The food in the restaurant is satisfactory, you can always choose something. Big minus is the untrained and uninterested staff in the restaurant. Air conditioning in the restaurant and lobby is catastrophic (almost non-existent). The animation team is working hard all day, our eleven-year-old daughter was delighted. The beach is wide, beautiful with wonderful light sand, but a tip is expected for better sunbeds. It was impossible to get sunbeds at the pool. The sea is warm, full of jellyfish and sometimes dirty.

My honest opinion after staying there for 7 nights: + The beach is beautiful and the pool is great. Such beautiful palm trees! + The location is great, plenty of places to get food, coffee and souvenirs around the hotel, or simply have a walk; + The rooms were clean, towels and bedsheets changed regularly + Friendly staff, animation team is friendly and not too pushy + The food!!! Great selection, always something new to try; the food itself tasted good and fresh! We loved It! + Good cocktails! Not watered down + Big hotel area, quiet, green and clean! + Breakfast starts early and ends late, it was very convenient + The staff were very nice and attentive with kids! - The mini bar fridge was broken and not fixed even though we informed the staff - The hotel is a little rough around the edges, it is not new, if you expect luxury and perfection it might be disappointing; - The elevators didn't work properly sometimes. We are young so we didn't care, but we felt bad for the older people. I suppose it will be fixed though. Technical issues happen - The power generator (I think?) was loud, so there was some constant noice in our room. It was manageable thought, we got used to it as white noice quickly Overall we loved it and would consider coming back :)

We were in El Ksar for a week (two adults and a baby) and these are our impressions: Positive: The staff is friendly and nice. The restaurant is clean, spacious. The food is tasty, we really loved everything! The pool is clean, there is natural shade so you can swim all day. The beach is large, sunbeds are always available. There is a beach restaurant that works 24/7 which was great for late night snacks. The hotel has an enormous garden great for walking. Negative: The beach is not clean. Some of the rooms are not renovated, we were lucky to get a good one. Sometimes it is loud in the evening, especially if you have a room with a view to the pool. Sometimes during lunchtime there is a queue by the barbeque and pasta / french fries station. Our general impressions are amazing. We've had so much fun. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Nice old hotel. You need to have in mind the 4 stars in Tunisia are like 3 in France, for example. The hotel is clean, rooms- a bit dated, always clean by a friendly maid. Pools are clean with lots of activities done by the animation team, which deserved big applause. Beach nice, clean, wide. You can always find something to eat, the cakes were the best from what I've eaten in many places. Traveled for the first time in Tunisia and I always felt safe. August was super hot but couldn't feel it as you always had something/ someplace you could chill out.

✅️ The hotel is quite nice but it looks much much better on photos than in reality. The location is great, close to Sousse and Port El Kantaoui with very nice beach and few swimming pools. It is good for families with children. BUT here ends the positive feeling... ‼️‼️‼️ ⚠️🔨 The hotel desperately needs some moderately skilled repairer. Almost everything you can touch is broken or damaged. 🧐 ⚠️🗑Dirt and garbage is everywhere around hotel, especially around childrens attraction. 🤮 ⛔️🪳There ale also cockroaches. One visited me at the bath during a shower.🤢🤮 ⛔️🎤 The holiday music for making "a great vacation atmosphere" is extremely loud and filled with many different music styles insanely mixed together and switched off and on several times during a song. They still pitch and setup the sound system during all day every day.😵😵‍💫🤯 So extremely loud and absolutely crazy mix of music with several stops during the songs. 😬 ⛔️🎭 Animation program itself is a Lazy story. On the way to hotel beach there is a big activity board with 20 - 30 activities you can try and when. Almost nothing happened during our stay! 😡The board also presents something else than program on TV in the Hall 😄😄 ‼️🥣 When comes to beverages, we were quite shocked! 😱 We had an all inclusive service but after 3 days of our stay - when standing a row in beach bar for some water and soft drinks - came a manager and loudly scold the waiters that they gave out too much drinks and beer (hey, it was really hot - windchill factor was 46!!!) and therefore for 2 days we did not get "tunisian Orange limo" with taste "like-a-Fanta" and "tunisian Sprite" was replaced with cheaper "Like-a-Sprite limo"... when the beer ran out, you stayed few hours without beer eventhough you paid a lot of money for all-inclusive-service...‼️ ⚠️🥣The food was mainly tunisian style, we were quite satsfied.. but after a week you dont know what to eat. Every day very similar taste ... and of course you should avoid to hot water, it is probably not overcooked and everytime I prepared Tea or Coffee, I had a stomachache with following diarrhea.. 🤮🤢🥵😤

This hotel has an amazing entertainment (animation) team who work hard to ensure the guests are entertained at all times. From the morning stretching sessions to the late night discos, this resort ensures that guests are never bored. The waiting staff also work tirelessly to serve guests at the terrace, they provide invaluable information about the local community and what tourist traps to avoid! Thank you so much El Ksar!

Very loud animation sector. Not for couples with baby up 2 years. Crowded in this time. Not clean. Too many stairs. Water slides doesn't work. Waiting in lines for drinks and meals.

Photos and reality are two drippingly different hotels. Other than the views nothing matches. Old hotel and disgusting food , I do not know why it has as many as 4 stars..

I was in this hotel from 26th of July until 6th of August, although our stay here wasn't that bad, there are some problems with this hotel that i wish to adress. The food is tasteless, the staff members or waiters aren't that polite, except few of them, some become polite and pleasant if you pay them (although you already payed the hotel for that). You have to wait in line to get a french fries which were being cooked in a small fryer for a hundreds of visitors. If you have children you can bring them, animation team is great for them, and there are a lot of activities for children. The beach is clean at least, but the sea is sometimes dirty and has jellyfishs from time to time in it. They are extremely slow in everything also, the security on the beach gives sunbeds to the locals who pay them even if they aren't in the hotel which is outrageous. I wouldn't go anywhere in Tunisia again, it's nice to see it once and experience new stories and have some exciting field trips, but not a place that i would visit again in a lifetime. This is an honest review, it's okay to visit something new, see different cultures, meet different peoples, have a nice modest holiday.

One too many stars outside, barely nudging 3 to be fair. Very run down in places, only stayed one night due to flight delay. The food was nice, and the staff were very attentive. The view from the bar balcony made up for it though. Cheap and cheerful if that's your thing.

Not even one star the worst hotel ever the staff really bad they don’t inform you about anything.if you need to take a towels which is all over the world is free here you need to put a caution to get it for the remote control as well for everything we bring the kids to play in the slide they are close not working the doors not closing well.I’m so dispointed and I don’t advice anyone to come to this hotel is not even 4stars hotel and no ac as well no wifi in the rooms you need to go to the reception which is to hot because no ac. And for your information if I ask any service the staff not happy like the tv technician(just for your information I pay for 2nights 900 euro) so thanks for the sheet stay

I did not stay at the hotel, but I did go to the cafe, which I am reviewing. Chichas were a little bit overpriced and they had virtually no selection of fruit juice except for lemonade. I personally always get strawberry juice but both times I went they didn't have any. I could understand in the off season but it was August so I dont get it.

The hotel is made in Arabic style. House keeping is always cleaning the place and rooms. Food is very tasty and everyone can find something for themselves. We love the beach which is Las Vegas beach, clean sandy beach with good service as well. Nice swimming pool. Truly recommend this hotel for the couples and for families as well.

Bring your own plate and utensils (and food) I have just returned after staying at El Ksar, but let me firstly state, that the facilities themselves are alright - I have no complaints about the rooms or the pool areas etc. But the big disappointment about this hotel is the lack of structure in the all Inclusive service!!! E.g. When you arrive you don't get any map of the hotel or any overview of what is included in the all inclusive service... As a result of this lack of structure: - The lines at the buffet are endless!! - The guests (mostly Russians and Arabs) are not stopped when touching the food in the buffet with their hands (and there is no hand sanitizer) and some kids eat right off the buffet… - The guests (mostly Russians and Arabs) are not stopped, when they build their own buffet on each table, wasting both plates and food - therefore, there is not nearly enough plates and some guests literally fight for them and steal them from other guests. The guests are allowed to empty entire trays of food, leaving other to wait for new food to be made... As a part of the all-inclusive service, you have access to the Dragut snack bar, which advertise for pizza, sandwich, sausages and french fries… but in reality, they only offer pizza sporadically and none of the other options! The employee in the snack bar also lets people cut in line and serve leftover water from the guests water bottles of you don't ask for a bottle. You also have the option of eating lunch in the beach bar, but this is not advisable. We have visited it once, but all the meat in the buffet was cold leftover chicken and cold leftover sausage - when it was eaten, the buffet wasn't refilled. The salad here also contained aphids! We have contacted the guest relations employee about the problems, regarding the lack of structure - and she promised to increase the number of plates (but this remains to be seen, as nothing has improved as of yet)

Just came back with my friend from the vacation in this hotel and, generally we've spent a great time there BUT it thanks to animators but not the hotel itself. I've been in 4* hotels in Turkey and Egypt, so compare with my experience there. What was good: - animation is GREAT. No time to be bored there. Since 11 a.m, guys organised some fun games and dances next to the swimming pool. Each evening - great show. Children had their games too. - food and drinks were OK. Nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. Always we could find something what we liked. And the best desserts comparing with Turkey and Egupt. Additionally, food was availiable mostly all of the time. Even at 3 a.m you could get something in the bar - territory. A lot of green space around. The nice swimming pool with shadow and sunny part. - staff. Helpful and nice people. All of them speak English, French, Russian and Polish a bit too. If you are girls, of course be prepared to answer quistion if you marry someone from the staff, but if takes with a humor could be even fun. - location. We went to Medina by foot and there are some cafes and shops around too. What we did not like: - Cleaning - DISASTER!!! In the first room we saw dirty towels on the floor. The entrance door that even man from the hotel could open after couple of mins. Second room that we got(ofc for tips) was better from the first sight but apparently linen was not changed after previous guests and toilet was not cleaned. We came at 2 a.m. so our fight for cleaner bed was almost until 4 a.m. But it was not only our room, the hotel in general is VERY DIRTY so we decided kust not to go to Hammam. - organization on reception. Despite those people were speaking English I got different information from them a couple of times. - cleaning lady that knocks in your door between 8 and 9 a.m!!!! It is not early morning but do not think it is a proper time for clening if people have vacation. - linen and towels condition - beach - quite dirty too. For a week, water looks nice and blue only one day. So if you care about animation only - go there without any doubts but if you care about cleaning or you are demanding with food - search better for another hotel. :)

El Kasr Resot is beyond imagination. It comprises history and modernity. Amazing! It looks like a castle built directly on the beach. It comprises so many rooms with the most beautiful sea view in the world. In addition, the receptionists are very welcoming, including Ms. Sahar and Ms. Munira. The resort's staff are very friendly and helpful. A very entertaining and lovely entertainment team, including Mona and Najw. Delisious and healthy food with lots of variety. A very tasty coffee. Super clean hotel, worm indoor pool, very lovely kids club. All in all, the Kasr hotel will be our first choice when returning to our beloved country, Tunisia.
