An amazing hotel where personal care is the watchword of the day. The personal touch of the staff, their incredible breakfast, excellent décor and amazing atmosphere make an absolutely fantastic boutique hotel. You could travel to Monastir just to stay at this hotel and you would not be disappointed.

Wonderful! A gorgeous guest house designed and operated by a young architect from Belgium. The amazing and well thought out details are too numerous to mention but are immediately evident from to entry way to the gorgeous tea rooms. The antique door frames sourced from around the world are a stunning feature to an already stunning guest house. Sarah made us feel welcome from the minute we asked about reservations and through the visit. The guest house has a homey feeling and is suitable for children as well. This guest house is a true gem.

Location is great! Staff was super friendly, very willing to use our Google translate since we did not speak any French or Arabic! They we're super helpful with finding parking and restaurants as well. Beautiful traditional architecture, with a nice pool and rooftop. The breakfast offered lots of different options. The place is older, the traditional architecture is beautiful but it also feels a bit outdated. The owner has done a lot of work to make it feel modern and comfortable. There is also no door to the bathroom, and the bathroom is rather small. Very little space around the toilet even.

Absolutely wonderful experience and so happy we chose Dar Benti for a weekend getaway! The owners are genuinely friendly and warm hosts - their breakfast is divine and I really recommend booking the hammam! A great plus also for being a dog-friendly place.

If you come to Monastir, you have to stay here! We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Benti. The place is marvelous, beautifully renovated and decorated. Breakfast was rich and healthy. The family who owns and runs the place adds to the charme, with their stories, friendliness and welcoming spirit. We felt like at home! :)

Wonderful oasis that appears magically once you walk through the 100m or so narrow pedestrian cobblestone path that leads off the single lane one way road outside. These streets are within what must have been the old city within the city walls which are still there. Once inside there is architectural beauty, attention to detail, tranquility, sumptuous breakfast, pool, well appointed rooms etc. the waterfront is not too far away - maybe 10-15 mins walk or so.
