I booked this place because of the good reviews on booking and now I understand how he got them. He went really out of his way to make our stay a very pleasant one. We come back soon for sure! Totally recommend! You gonna feel at home in Sousse and if you are lucky you might even get some delicious personalized cookies 🙂

I highly recommend Dar Hkaïem. It's a traditional guest house where you feel simplicity and you remember the old life. Also, the owner was nice and friendly.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Toutou went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend dar Hkaïem.

Very nice contact to the host who took care of everything and prepared a delicious home made breakfast every morning. we had the Guesthouse for ourselves and could make dinner in the kitchen. it's a lovely place, nicely decorated and comfortable, in a local neighborhood.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The owner was so friendly and welcoming, it truly made our trip. Every morning we woke to a lovely home cooked breakfast and each night met with the host to play chess and drink coffee. The rooms are fantastic, clean and beautifully decorated. Thank you TouTou for an amazing stay and we hope to one day come back and stay at your wonderful guest house again!

Great value, a short cheap taxi journey around 6-7 TD away from medina.The host was always on hand and arranged a beautiful trip to the south imcluding the El Jem ampitheatre and WW2 museum amd some original star wars locations that were used for Tatooine in the film.

Really enjoyed my stay in Sousse with Toutou. He recommended restaurants and shops for me that were exactly what I was looking for. Rooms were very clean with air conditioning! The location is a bit far from the water and the main medina, but taxis are affordable!

Dar Hkaïm is very well located for a wonderful stay in Sousse, between the port of Kantaoui and the historic medina. Quite comfortable and nicely decorated Moorish house. Majdi is a wonderful host, kind, available, helpful and gives very good advice. He knows his pretty town well, as well as good tips to make your stay better, don't hesitate to consult him.

Unfortunately I had to change plans and cancel at last minute. But Majdi was very understanding and know many other friends have stayed there and had an excellent experience and have only had positive things to say about Dar Hkaïem.

I just finished my 3rd stay here; it's been an excellent experience every time! Toutou is a superb host, and goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a good experience. The rooms and the guesthouse are very clean, and upgrades are continuous. Strongly recommend staying!

I can really recommend Dar Hkaiem for a visit to Sousse/Hammam Sousse. The host is very friendly, has eyes for details and the Dar itself is very clean. Beside that you can have a lovely breakfast with self made bread and some nice fruits in the morning. The rooms itself are nice and the air-conditioning is working very good! You share a bathroom and toilet with only a few others but all these facilities were very clean. The location of the Dar is on one hand very nice (in a local neighborhood) for a local experience but is far away from shops, bars, the sea and restaurants. However the host can help you with tips to eat and to find things nearby! 😊

I spent 2 nights at this beautiful guesthouse with Toutou and would highly recommend it. It's a bit outside Sousse, but I actually liked the quiet and local neighborhood. The room was very clean, internet worked very well and water was warm. I was the only guest at the time and it's been super quiet. Toutou made Brik for me the second day and I can recommend his cooking skills:-) He is easy to talk to and willing to help and give recommendations. It's not so easy to find though and if you travel without mobile data, make sure to make arrangements before you leave. Also, if you leave the house early in the morning and need a taxi, better arrange beforehand.There might be limited availability even at the main street and you might have to wait quite a bit. Best is to use Bolt and order a taxi to Cafe Ben Ali. It only 5 minutes from the house to the Cafe. I think it's an amazing price for the value you get and I would stay there anytime again if coming back to Sousse!

The flat is big and quiet comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there cuz i could get near whatever i wanted, pharmacy, food, drinks and markets. The host is friendly and very helpful.
