Lots of open green space next to the Neponset river. Lovely mix of programmed spaces: sports fields, tot lot and natural fields. Loads of feral bunnies and native bird species. Well maintained paved paths for walking and other activities. DCR owned and maintained, used by many different communities for many different uses: hiking, athletics, fishing, picnicking, and just being out in nature.

Came on a freezing cold day during golden hour and it was simply magical. I'm excited to come back during warmer weather. Nice network of paths intertwined with native plant life.

I frequent here once a week or every other week. It's a great place to walk dogs, jog, play soccer, and even has a kids playground. The views are nice. Plenty of dogs on and off leash. People tend to be flexible and open minded about dogs off leash, though please keep yours on a leash if they're aggressive or untrained. People are also good about picking up after their dogs. Long story short...please don't ruin it for the rest of us. The only reason for 4 stars is that it's right next to 93. So you'll have that road noise no matter what. Not exactly the type of serene sound to match the visuals.

Love these little loopty loop trails. Hereโ€™s a picture of a coyote I saw. Grass is always well maintained and trash is always maintained. Good job maintenance!

Nice space for walking, running, biking, playing sports, and flying a kite. Plenty of room for everyone. Has playground and portable bathrooms. Sometimes the city has movie nights too

Great place. Would be 5 stars if the state did a better job of picking up after all the .... who litter or if people just did a better job not littering to begin with.

Got a good workout! Change of scenery. Views of the highway as you walk. Be careful of the underpass -wouldn't go through after dark.

It's a nice park for taking the kids and dogs to. Lots of paths they can bike around while we walk the dogs. Good views of the river. The newly rebuilt playground is pretty neat with lots of slides and climbing things.

Wonderful traditional park to walk around on a sunny day if you are in this area. Kids playing soccer on the fields. Playgrounds with port-o-potties, paved walking trails, places to fish and bird watch. City vibe for sure but a nice place to visit to see nature.

Wonderfully peaceful. It's right by the highway, so you'd think it'd be noisy. It's actually quite serene and a great, authentic Boston location.

Beautiful place. Great trails. I will definitely be back. The walkways are beautiful. The people seemed friendly. People picked the poop up. There was a huge soccer field that I definitely want to play on. It seems like a great place to get yourself together. My partner was happy to be here. There was a definite contrast between the Quincy side and Dorchester. I was very happy.

This is a decent bike park I would say with something for all age folks. Plenty of bike tracks and benches for taking breaks. Decent playground for kids. Parking is low and mostly occupied on busy weekends. Nice place for quick walks but noisy due to close proximity with 93.

Well maintained landscape, beautiful open space to hang out as a family, picnic, walking, biking, just quiet . Pretty much an outdoor oasis. Right off the hwy, if you need to stretch out your legs, rest. There are plenty parking on site and Porta potty as well.

Neighbors letting their dogs off leash in a park that is on-leash made me feel unsafe/uncomfortable here but the Neponset Greenway walk to get to the park is fantastic, scenic, low key and most dog owners behaving.

Lots of people walking around the park but everyone is practicing social distancing, the park is huge. The air is clear on most days, perfect place to walk around.

Park is beautiful....might be a lil creepy at night but I'll never know because I won't be there at night because it's a little creepy I'd imagine, but again, I don't know because I haven't been there at night๐Ÿคช

Lots of people flying kites, walking dogs, and picnicking. The nearby highway is very loud but somehow the spot still feels sheltered. Very pretty down by the river.

This is a pretty large park, with scenic views and pretty quiet. The playground is under construction, so other than running around there's little external things for kids to expend their energy on. You could also fish here, and they have little stone stands with information on the kinds of fish you're most likely to catch here. The information stands on the history of the park, from its Native American origins to its use as an industrial hub, then to becoming a park, are well written and illustrative of the history of the area.
