    Friendly Thai lady boss cum chef, they serve original Thai food and some western menu, we order a Thai prawn green curry, it is delicious, the lady boss make us a fried egg, although it is not in the menu when we requested for it. Thai food is sweet, you can requested for less sugar, if you need a spicy food, can request to add more chili 🌶 .

    Super delicious food here cooked by a lovely Thai lady. We got the Pad Thai, the Thai crab with curry sauce, and a fried rice for takeaway. The pad thai was saucy and full of flavour, and the prawns were plump and tasty. The crab dish came with 2x blue swimmer crabs that tasted fresh and sweet once you extracted the meat, excellent value for $30. Definitely stop by here for food if you're passing Carnarvon!

    Amazingly tasty food by Fon. She has a vegan menu too and advised us on the sauces as well to avoid fish sauce. She uses locally grown veggies too. One of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.

    We ordered takeaway Pad Thai and Fried Rice with prawns. Hubby went in to pay, the owner saw $65 cash in his hand and told him the price was $65!! For that price, I’d expect way more prawns than the 5 we got spread out over the 2 dishes. The taste was not authentic Thai either. I’ve never had thin noodles in pad Thai. Very disappointed

    The food is amazing and served with a smile by Fon, a lovely Thai lady. We had the vegan pad Thai and vegan fried rice and couldn’t recommend it enough! 🙌🏼

    Pad Thai was excellent (around $22)! Green curry (around $25) was delicious too, just a tiny bit spicy for me. Little hidden place with a lovely owner. You should definitely try it!

    Wow, wow, wow! What a gem. The flavour and freshness was absolutely outstanding! This is authentic Thai food cooked fresh to order. Lovely owners and service, I will be back! Bite already taken out of fish cake in pic.

    Very good restaurant, they serve real Thai food and the owner is pretty nice and always trying you to have a good time. You can have it in or take away. It's a very good option in the town if you feel like not having fish and ships. There are only 3 tables so you better go early. Enjoy the local prawns!

    I drove past Carnarvon twice in my 11-day trip. I had my dinner there twice. As a foodie, I should say this restaurant can be given Michelin Stars. Fresh green from the river，superb seafood and amazing cooking skills...♥️

    Travelled to Carnarvon from Denham to go shopping but really it was to try the new Thai Restaurant. Fantastic Green Curry great Yellow Noodle and awesome Crab Curry, the Thai Beef Salad was very good also. Really good Thai food in Carnarvon

    Recommend a Taste of Thai by fon. Fon was extremely friendly. Green chili curry with prawns had terrific taste and nice variety of vegs! Hubby’s crab dish was huge. 3 tables indoor, 1 table outdoor, and loads of take aways. Recommend

    A homey atmosphere and Fon herself is a Thai so no doubt about its flavours. Enjoyed the green curry and pad Thai although would have preferred the pad Thai to be slightly drier.

    What an awesome dinner I just had! Even better service ❤️ Fon made it all perfect for me. What a lovely soul! Lunch/dinner here should be a must. I wish I had more time to have another meal.

    This place is an absolute ripper. If you haven’t been to Thai by Fon, have you really been to Carnarvon? It’s Fontastic!!!! It’s Rip Bloody Roaring Good!!! Yew!!! Hands down the best restaurant in Carnarvon and maybe even the whole state, world, who knows? Definitely the only restaurant that is open when it says it is in Carnarvon. But real deal this place is good, so good I wrote a review about it. I traveled from far away lands to taste that sweet, sweet and spicy Thai by fon. Don’t expect a posh fake Thai restaurant, It’s a true whole on the wall, Thai style. They even have a Vegan menu. Life Rips.

    We arrived at 6:50pm and were refused dine-in, we were told that there was no dine-in after 7pm (as per the sign on the till) as they closed at 7:30pm. So we ordered take-away pad thai prawn. When we got back to our accommodation we discovered we'd been given pad thai chicken. The dish also described "leafy greens", but there were none, only bean shoots.

    You can feel the typical Thai home-cooked food. Vegetables and seafood are fresh, chicken is average. The owner works alone here, so let's order and wait patiently.

    Unbelievably tasty!! We ordered from the vegan menu, got red curry, Pad Thai and Son don (the papaya salad). I think the papaya salad was the best I've ever had. My partner thought the red curry was the best he ever had. The Pad Thai was also delicious! All dishes were so packed with veggies and a really good portion sizes so it felt like good value for money. The two people who served us were super friendly and the whole experience was great.

    Just had a really tasty lunch. There is a vegan/vegetarian menu and the lovely owner was super nice to clarify we didn’t want oyster sauce or fish sauce. Green curry was so good!! Lots of veggies and tasty sauce. A little on the pricier side but it was worth it. Lovely intimate home style place

    The food here was absolutely incredible, we made a pit stop for our road trip and we’re blown away by how tasty everything was. On top of this Fon went out of her way to make us feel welcome. If we are ever in Carnarvon again we will be stopping here. Highly recommend

    A tiny Thai restaurant, we enjoyed everything about this very small owner operated restaurant. The Chef quickly prepare our 4 dishes. They were all excellent . The Chef came out to ask if we were enjoying the meals she had prepared. You must be seated, only a few tables, and ordered by 7:30pm...only takeaway after that time. We enjoyed the evening very much. It's byo.

😐 The food didn't look like the photo in the booklet. I had the local rankin cod with veggies which was tasty. My husband ordered the lamb rack. Was a bit disappointed. A bit chewy.
