I went in for some esquite and fresas con crema. I never expected to find a FLY in my esquite. I got my order and then I went to my car to eat it and my husband was mixing it around and he found a fly dead in there. It was so disgusting because if he didn’t notice he would have eaten a whole fly. When I went back to let them know. They acted like it wasn’t a big deal and even said it didn’t seem like a fly. They were hesitant to admit it was a fly. They said that and then walked away proceeding to make me another esquite with the same equipment. I was completely disgusted they didn’t care to sanitize or investigate the pots were the corn was stored. I let them know that I didn’t want another and wanted a refund on my whole order because I didn’t feel comfortable eating food that isn’t properly handled. They took forever to decide to give me a refund but they decided to. They even had the audacity to further let me know that they don’t think it’s their fault because they’re “clean”. Never coming or recommending this place ever again.

My family and I love coming to this place. The quality of each ice cream is really good just like the name "premium". The staff is polite and always eager to help the next customer. The place is really clean. I love the fact that they have a wide variety of ice cream flavors, they also have Popsicles made with real fruit...basically anything you can ask for. It's a really good place to go to specially now with this heat wave! They close until 11pm!! Just perfect for those who like a almost midnight snack ;). I recommend this place 100%!!!

Really good and professional... got nachos with the sauce on the side so they don't get soggy yay! And a torta de hamon to share lol THEY ARE HUGE

The best place to choices your favorite ice cream or popsicle ,etc. My wife and I love coming to the La Michoacana Premium in South Gate. It feel like you are walking in Willy Wonka of Ice cream.

I love all the flavors of ice cream they have not to mention the variety of all the other snacks. I dislike one of the managers who is very rude. She seems bothered by the amount of people who go there and makes faces. Then when there's 30 minutes left before closing, she starts cleaning the tables an tells customers that they're about to close so people can start leaving. Close time on the door states 11pm but she wants to be out by 11

Best hot dogs in town. Fresh fruits, food and super clean. Positive environment.

I got an ice cream scoop with chamoy and I was informed in the front that it’s an additional .75 cents. Usually I’m never charged for chamoy at other establishments. Their aguas frescas are water down and warm. Customer service wasn’t great. Tbh not worth the drive.

First and last time going to this location asked for a agua fresca and it tasted like it went to waist. Notified one of the employees and they totally disregarded it…I don’t recommend plus they have poor customer service.

This is one big location, also a busy one depending on the weather outside. On a hot day, lines are long. The selection of frozen treats (and some not frozen ones) is very intensive. I use their earn points system with my phone number and have scored some great treats for free. One suggestion to management is to maybe hire a couple more people to handle volume on busy hot days. I've seen up to 15 people in line with 3 workers trying to rush orders since not only do they prepare your ice cream, but they also act as cashiers to ring your order. Sadly, some homeless individuals tend to venture inside and ask for change, but that is not very common.

I went here with my siblings and I ordered a bionico✨ It was sooooo good, especially with the vanilla ice cream just hits different. The line was kinda weird but the wait is totally worth it when you get your food 💜

There's always A-line at this place. after ordering ice cream, a natural drink, umm well, I can't figure it out they were really pricey for the quality and the quantity of the items. I think I just expected more because of the huge lines. Seevice is really slow as well because there was only 2 people working the counter. I'm kinda bummed..

This is my first and last time in this location. La Michoacana is my absolute favorite and there customer service is always so great and friendly however, I came in at 1:30 pm with my 3 kids in this location. There were two woman working the counter and did not acknowledge us which I found strange. There was a couple that had already ordered and was at a table waiting for there order. We waiting in line for about 5 min and the two ladies still didn't acknowledge us. After 2 guys came in and waited behind us. I told my kids to stay in line while I look at the ice cream. I was barely 2 feet away when she call the two guys completely ignoring my kids and even myself being there way before them. There was literally no one in line but us until they came in. I said excuse me 5 times until the guy told her I was calling her. Extremely rude and not considerate. Does not understand or even care to let the customer in line know you will be right with them nor call you in order. I told her you saw us waiting, why did you call them. No reply of course. I felt really mistreated and if it wasn't for my kids wanting ice cr3am I would of just left. Something that was suppose to be fun was ruin my two ladies. Smh.

I really enjoy the ice creams they have and bionicos. I definitely would go every day if I could but unfortunately I'd probably gain weight and probably be a diabetic. Service is amazing and love the hospitality.

Rossy is the best she made my experience here a good one excellent customer service, as far as Michoacána goes food is good i mainly go for the tortas and ice cream this place offers rewards for regulars you just add your number before checkout and you add up your points, the lines can get long at times but that just tells you how good the place is overall great place to check out

First time here with my partner and the service was very attentive, despite of the huge line they had ! All the ladies were nice , helpful, and patient. It's also the cleanest michoacana I been to and the ice creams and Popsicles look all tasty and the counters are very clean ! This will be the michoacana I will be coming to from now on . They have a variety of ice cream flavors My personal favorite is Abuelitas chocolate with pecan, as well as the mangoneada. The ingredients are fresh and the price is reasonable, kind of. Plus if you sign up for their rewards program, you can get some items for free with accumulated purchases.

They offer an incredibly large ice cream selection as well as many other goodies and snacks. It’s one of, if not, the best Mexican ice cream parlors. My favorite ice cream flavor is blueberry cheesecake.
