My wife and I stopped by this establishment recently because it’s a new local business and it felt refreshing to find a gem like this down Tweedy Blvd. So, we stopped by because we wanted to support. I think South Gate needs more places like this shop that brings a POP to the city. The location is small, it’s an intimate setting with a beautifully decorated customer area. It’s a treat and honestly the name of this shop had me in a complete ratatouille moment. You feel like you re-live treats from your childhood days. I mean, who doesn’t like milk + cookies. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and drinks. They have an ice cream sandwich and they have a variety of flavors. We tried the horchata ice cream sandwich with oatmeal cookies. HIGHLY recommend both the horchata ice cream and the oatmeal cookies. Their coffee is organic and did not disappoint. We picked up chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies to bring home. We’re definitely returning!

I put an order for pick up through their website for a dozen cookies and ice cream. I waited maybe 2 minutes because the cookies were barely coming out of the oven. I'm saying that as in it's a good thing! The cookies were freshly made and we had to wait about 5 minutes so they could be cold enough to eat. I ordered 6 chocolate abuelita and 6 chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate abuelita cookies were bomb! The ice cream was chocolate and it was really good! They were so good! I recommend supporting them during this time! Support local businesses!

Latte review !!! Tried it twice , latte is basically all milk . Not sure what the issue is, taste just like warm milk . To be fair we have only tried the lattes .Not to say the rest of their stuff is not great ! Only my honest opinion, and not trying to be mean .Adding I was not there in person, but had the latte brought home to me by the husband if not I would have asked why the coffee flavor was not prominent. Super delicious treat! Ice cream sandwich made with a sugar cookie, cream cheese/berry ice cream and a Mexican chocolate cookie. The Mexican chocolate and cinnamon sugar combination was the perfect mix. Thanks Ms. K for the suggestion❤ I also purchased 1 chocolate chip and 1 oatmeal raisin cookie... ate it today (the next day) and they were just as soft and chewy as they were yesterday.

Ambiance: This place is adorable. It's small, but they used the space nicely. Service: The guy was so helpful, gave great suggestions, and even though we made 15 before closing, he was so patient. Food: I sampled a few flavors, and they were delicious! I'm usually a Thai Tea girl, but for some reason, I was obsessed with their French vanilla, so I opted for my version of milk and cereal, and it did not disappoint ! The cookies were the perfect soft/crunchy texture, and the ice cream was creamy and soft

I ordered the abuelita chocolate ice cream with chocolate chip cookies (I’m a chocolate lover) and it was delicious! The cookies were right out of the oven and the ice cream was sweet, smooth and light - truly perfect. I love how cute the store looks both inside and out, and I love how simple the options are. And lastly, I appreciated how kind and welcoming the team was as soon as I entered. Great desserts, great people, and great store design - go support them!

I most definitely recommend this place. I had the Horchata ice cream and Mexican chocolate icecream 🤤.It is a small business with a very cute aesthetic. Costumer service is great. Wait time can be a little long but that is because there is usually like 1-2 people serving. I am mindful that we are in a pandemic and I don't mind the wait because my Specialty Latte was delicious!!! It went great with the fresh cookies they bake there also!

Both my son and I loved the cookies! My son said, 1. the cookies are guaranteed fresh. 2. The perfect amount of sweet. 3. He loved how the place looks. You can taste the great ingredients and freshness in every bite.

First time here , I’ve been wanting to try this cookies for a while back , I do follow the business on IG , the cashier was super helpful and recommended the chocolate chip cookies and fruity pebbles cookie both were super delicious. I highly recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth . And I will be coming back.

Peanut butter ice cream (vegan) and abuelita chocolate cookie is the best. Owners were very friendly and informed us of all the options. I like the simplicity of making a choice. I went to get ice cream and was not bombarded with 100+ choices. Definitely coming back.

Loved the smell of fresh cookies you get hit with as soon as you open the door. I had ordered the mexican chocolate cookies which were nice and chewy. I had set some to the side and 2 days later they were still delicious, soft and chewy.

I used to be a regular here till I moved to Long Beach, I haf the chance to stop by and I ordered an iced horchata latte. It was horrible, it tastes like water, no flavor whatsoever. Karen is no longer there, the person who helped me seemed bothered to do it. It was so disappointing

Friendliest staff ever, their chocolate chip cookies were good but the Mexican chocolate ones were AMAZING. I definitely recommend coming by here every now and then for a quick delicious dessert snack.

For many months, I've passed this site and never bothered to enter. Ever so often, I'll walk through Tweedy Mile and think to myself, "I wonder what this site has in store." Finally, after many passive walks, unlimately, I decided to explore this quirky site. It's actually a great little spot for ice cream and coffee, cookies. Hence the name, milk+cookies! Since this place is owned by younger folks who want to emphasize their business. They naturally have my blessing, it's a good to show some love.
