It was really fun. We will feel like floating in the sea. The people were very friendly.. they will explain each and every spots clearly. Aslo you can enjoy a super music fest. You will be provided snacks during the trip. It will be a 2 hour program. Worth it.

An awesome experience! You can book the tickets online. Weekdays you can just walk in to their office and buy tickets (no need for any agent) Tickets are @350/person during weekdays and 400 for weekends. This is a state government organisation. The staff are very cordial. Vessel is reasonably maintained. Avoid sitting near the loudspeakers as they will blast your eardrums. There are two vessels. It has toilets. Once you are seated the host will start explaining the major attractions around and some bit of history. Post which they have singers, dancers to perform on stage. Children will enjoy the dance floor. Our host was Mr.Babin and he was really good. I have added many photos and videos. They will take to the sea and you can see large container ships very closely. The only thing that was little uncomfortable was the sound level from speakers. Worthy

KSINS Sagararani is a wonderful experience. It's a well spent 2 hours. You can opt for cruise at multiple timings as per your booking. I went for the sunset cruise. It begins at 1730 and comes back by 1930. The vessel sails through the important locations and goes to the sea and comes back. Usually you will be going when the sunlight is present and come back when the lights are up. Had a wonderful host and few artists who performed some exceptional dance performance and songs. I would definitely recommend this.

The sunset cruise lasts 2 hours from 5.30pm and costs 500Rs. Prepare for some beautiful views, and very lively (and *very* loud) entertainment, including singing and dancing. Many of our fellow passengers were delighted to participate with great enthusiasm. Being an introverted Brit I was happy to watch from the back of the boat 😅

Leisure cruise at cochin.kerala. Starts from marine drive. A perfect cruise for viewing sunset. It is run by kerala government. This is the only cruise which takes you to the entrance of the sea. All other private boats don't have permission upto sea. Managed well. With music band for entertainment. The singers troupe are very interactive and Jovial, make your trip enjoyable for whole 2.5 hours. You will be at sea surrounded only by water and mesmerizing views of sun set. Light refreshments provided. Don't go in for AC room. On the way you can see all the island, Chinese fishing nets. A perfect cruise for spending a evening with family and friends. Lot of parking space available near the jetty.

The Sunset cruise into the Arabian sea is amazing. The compere will speak / engage in Malayalam only, but one will be fine if they will make an attempt and can bear some loud Music as the intent of the team on board is to entertain. Great views of the entry / exit to the harbour and super views of Sunset. Tea & some snacks are served too. It's worth a visit!

Kerala Govt's commendable initiative. A good 2 hours' ride through the waters of Kochi with a light experience of the Arabian sea as well. Differentiates itself from the other private operators by getting into the Arabian sea within the ride.

Loved the cruise itself. Two hours on the water, it was very good. There are various time slots available throughout the day and one can book as per their choice. But I'd highly recommend the sunset one which I took There were snacks, songs, guide program, beautiful view of the sunset. At the end, even a small dance floor was created for people to dance and just have a merry time. Overall I had a very good time and thoroughly enjoyed myself. But there are a few things that could be improved. First of all, there is no clear sign on the main road where the terminal to the cruise is. If one doesn't already know, or has some idea, it is quite possible to keep searching for it for a long time. The small by-lane that leads to the terminal is dotted with small roadside dhabas and cafe on the left side. On the right side there is just garbage which is responsible for a very pungent bad smell. Maybe that area could be beautified a bit and a clear sign could be put up. The second thing was the cruise guide program. I'm all for protecting one's language and culture, but Kerala is such a beautiful state and attracts a lot of tourists. Most of them have kochi as a stop on their tour. So not all who take the cruise are from kerala itself. So obviously not everyone will have an understanding of the malayalam language. The guide was interacting purely in Malayalam with the passengers. I've been living here for sometime now so I could deduct a few things he was saying. By that I know he was explaining the areas and places as we passed by them, little trivia about them. But what actually was he saying I completely missed. Maybe try including an English program as well for those who visit and are non Malayalam speakers. Last but not the least, the sound system was too loud and echoing. Personally I go to the ocean for it's soothing calming effect. The quiet and sound of the waves. Occasional songs and such can be good but not constantly. Especially if the sound system is too loud that instead of enjoying , people start having headaches.

Good experience. We went for the pre-noon cruise. The staff was very entertaining and explained about all the spots as we went. Gave a good overview of main locations in Kochi. We could spot a few dolphins as well. Juice and snacks were provided on the vessel. We booked by calling and made online payment. Booking is recommended especially on weekends.

It is a one time must experience if you are near to Marine drive or staying in kochi, i heard that some times there will be dolphins in mid water. Apart from that the view and experience is good they also have some fun time events in the cruise. We went for sunset cruise and the view of sunset was good.

There is a guide in the boat who introduc all the things around the route with its historical importance. Singers and dancers are performing in the vessel. Complementary Tea and snacks also available. In the sunset cruise, we can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Ticket can be book online and offline. There is an office located in Marine drive near to highcourt signal junction. Waiting area and washroom facilities are available there.

It was a nice way to celebrate the New Year Eve, into the Arabian Sea and back. Voyage on Sagararani doest offer liquor, if your idea includes alcohol to be on the menu, I think there is another package too. The New Year package started at 10:00pm on 31st December 2022 & returned to Marine drive jetty just after 01:00 am on January 1st 2023. There are routine 4:30 pm & 5:30 packages venturing out into the Arabian sea (weather permitting), they serve snacks on-board the vessel, our package was Rs 900/- per head; we booked from the office at Marine drive, online options too are available.

This is a must try experience. Such a well organised cruise. The staff was amazing and they explained all points of interest so well. They also ensured that we were kept engaged throughout the two hour cruise with songs and dances .my only issue was that there was loud music all the time and i dint really get even a few minutes to enjoy the cruise in silence but this is a personal opinion. I noticed that almost everyone in the group enjoyed the music :) p.s : pls book online atleast a week in advance and please be there atleast before 45 minutes to snag the best seats. While there is parking near the entrance to this office we had to park almost a km away as the parking was full. there are other cruises that offer a sunset cruise at rs 150 and more but i think this was the best one. There was a another vessel called minar that looked very fancy and that would be the next cruise i want to experience 😄

Best relaxation option with family. I don't think we can enjoy with friends here. If u want to enjoy a water ride in the arabian sea ,it's a good option. We can see so many historical places and a guide is also in the vessel to explain about the specialities of that places. Overall it was good 2hrs trip for me.

Total value for money , I tried the sunset cruise . I have done cruises before but this was different as we went into the ocean. In snacks they gave cutlet and a piece of cake and a bar one The sunset was beautiful , there was in furies entertainment ie songs and dance and they celebrated people’s bday and anniversary You get to the huge ships and man made islands. The commentary is on Malyalam but if you ask eh explains in Hindi/ English

New Year celebration @ cruise was the ultimate surprise and happiness. A good celebration in the sea at night with lots of new faces.

I would say this is one of the best sunset I have seen so far. The trip was 2 hours and started at 5:30PM. The vibe and music was awesome. They serve some light snacks as well. Overall a great experience. If you dont understand Malayalam, then the mike may annoy you a bit. Otherwise, all good and my kids also enjoyed and danced. I will definitely come back.

A quick 2 hour ride into the sea with glimpses through the historical backwaters of old Kochi visited for trade by the Arabs, conquered and ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch and the British. A brief description of the places visited/passed by on the way was given in Malayalam but there were visitors from Northern India and they too wished they understood the descriptions. Singing, dancing and games kept the trip lively and everyone enjoyed the trip in their own manner.

Sagararani is a 2hr trip from lake to sea & back by kerala govt. they have 4-5 options starting from morning like breakfast cruise, lunch cruise, dinner cruise etc. We took the sunset cruise - 2hrs - 400 per person. the boat is built more like a ship & hence they have permission to go further into the sea compared to other boats (as per the guide). the sunset cruise starts at 5 30 & is till 7 30pm. we reached there at 5pm to get decent seats. it can accomodate from 50 -75 people. its very hygenic. i had a great time. we can really feel the difference wen the boat enters the sea from lake. we saw fort kochi beach . navigating thru the sea amidst all these waves was surreal.. i luvd it. the guide was a genuinely funny & polite person. he is a native from fort kochi & said has done few roles in movies as well. we also had a live music performance by mr.arun - excellent singing; really had a blast. they also put a DJ in the boat & all of us danced & was really fun. they also arranged a dance show by 2 gents - stunning costumes & energetic moves - it was spectacular. the guide encourages you to come out & dance , also he gave a detailed description of all the sites around us including the dubai port, kochin shipyard etc. we were served a small snack including biscuits,tea cake, cutlet & maaza. 2 hrs flew by so fast & i really enjoyed - i recommend it to everybody who is visiting marine drive & haven't alredy done this - u'll have so much fun in Sagararani. to all the staff & crew- keep up the wonderful job & thanks to the captain for taking us to the sea and back smoothly & safely

Its an official short cruise experience provided by Government of kerala. U ll be taken for a short trip in the evening and u can have beautiful view of sunset. Snacks are provided on board. Disco is also there. And the decency is maintained so this is a family cruise. Ticket is just 350 per head.
