A true traditional place to worship. A lot of history, as far back to salvery and education is connected to this church.

This is a Historic site and a protected heritage site built by slaves. Rev. Phillipo was instrumental in freeing many slaves. This place has significance in the history of Jamaica and should be visited with reverence.

Large church with school and canteen attached. It is also where the office for the Custos of St. Catherine is located. They have a very large hall on the 2nd floor that can be used for different purposes. Easily holds 100 people. Grounds and admin staff are very courteous and helpful.

I'm usually one to nod off in church but I find it very comforting to go here. You don't feel like your in a large televised broadcast but at an actual service. There's no unnecessary screaming and shouting and that annoying asthmatic intake of breath. So instead you feel calm, serene and closer to God

Phillippo Baptist church is an old church dating back to when Jamaica was under slavery. The architecture is hundreds of years old and still boast most of the original design. The roof and interior is unique and is one of the rare places fron colonial times that was not destroyed. It is a beauty and a treasure. The acoustics are still great and the history is on display for all to see. They have service starting at 7:00am and 10am each Sunday. A team is also there in the week should you want to visit and learn more. Take an historical tour of one os Spanish Town's remaining treasure. Blessings

Reception was excellent. Two gentlemen(twin) assisted me ably with even additional information. They smiled throughout the interaction and for me that was a 10!!
