I came here for the dimsum. As always, during weekends, the place is super packed, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. They have good dimsum. The service is friendly, but at times it's rather slow due to its capacity. But overall experience was fine and would come back again to try other items on the menu.

It is an old Chinese Restaurant but has always been my favourite. We celebrate my mother's birthday and dine here a lot during the pandemic. Yesterday was our first time back here after the pandemic and the taste and quality of the food were still as good as I remembered. The service was good. We enjoyed our lunch here very much

Very famous place to have yum cha with friends and or family. This hangover food after long night of drinking with buddies is a must. A true authentic HK dim sum with Traditional Chinese dishes. All day discount is 20% for food, exclude alcohol. Try their hakao, siomay, cingcongfan, charsiaw pao, chicken feet, special sunday sup burung dara, sup hisit, lobak saus xo(carrot cake), crackling pork belly, and many others. Chili oil is best here. Services also top notch. They have floor manager from zhung guo, so if you want to exercise your mandarin, do so.

A great place to enjoy some chinese or oriental foods. Not the the most delicious one, but you can still enjoy the ambience of the decoration. With the VIP room, you can have more than 20 people joining the circle (round) table. Enjoy the food and condition with karaoke system. This must be for mid to high class or premium meeting with your team or colleagues. I just feel a bit weird (maybe because of I chose the wrong way before) to get to the place in the six or seven floor since I have to go through the parking area first before reach the lounge. We can have some cigarrettes in the room but I think the exhaust was not functioned normally. I hope this was only on my room only. I love the oriental design, the color chosen. Premium class.

Food is excellent. All dimsum foods are yummy. We also tried the peking duck and it is one of the best. The skin is tasty, crispy and the sauce/condiment is enhancing the flavour. We took the private room. The room is clean and spacious. It is a bit pricey, probably because we took the private room.

The restaurant is so huge with very thick chinese ambiance. The dimsum selection is great, but the taste is not extraordinary. The price seems to spike so much after covid, very surprise to see that even the mini suckling pig now is 3.4mn rupiah. We also ordered main dishes, again only couple that are really good : sapo tahu terong, beef hotpot. But some are just ok. They changed the menu book into digital menu which has to be accessed from their ipad and this is quite annoying because not easy to select and not everyone can see the menu

A nice dimsum dining place inside a crowded Harco building. Cannot imagine a hidden gem Inside an old building! Service was fast and neat. Waiters and waitresses are really trained to do their job well. Our plates were quickly changed before we asked them to. Teas were refilled before we had a chance to ask. Dimsum quality was top notch. Big portion, big size, thin flour, prawn was so fresh - will come again to take more photos of their food. To me, they serve the Best dimsum in Jakarta.

One of the best chinese food restaurant in Jakarta, lots of variety of dimsum menu to choose. High quality of foods, Great venue and spacious ballroom to accomodate large parties. Customer services are great, the staff are professional and helpful.

One of the best dimsum spots in the city. The food never fails. Some staff are bilingual (Indonesian & Mandarin), so if you're a foreigner and prefer to speak in Mandarin, no worries. The place is packed during the weekend, so book in advance or come earlier. Small and big VIP rooms are available upstairs with KTV available. Always a pleasure coming here. Will definitely come back.

I went to this place last week for dimsum, I wanted to treat my family for special occasion since I remembered that this place had the best dimsum all over Jakarta. Last time I went here was before the pandemic, and they were the absolute best. However from my visit last week, it kinda disappoint. The service was still top notch, the place was as beautiful, but the taste of the food was not as special anymore. Some items we ordered like the spicy chicken feet and cheongfun was still great. But nothing is mindblowingly great. Not that they serve bad food, no their food is still tasty overall. But when you compare the price against what you get, it really doesn't justify that you pay twice or more than other decent dimsum place in Jakarta to get something that's quite similar in quality. Some menu were misses, like their fried cakwe with avocade sauce, it looks amateur and childish, and it taste like it too. And their truffle dumpling was also uninspiring. It's as if their main chef left, and now some youngsters take charge and came up with questionable menus. Suncity is supposed to be where you go to find premium dimsum in Jakarta. Unfortunately, what's premium now is only the price... and probably the service.

I only comment the restaurant. LIt is a big restaurant that can fit hundreds of customers inside with many tables and several partitions to held some events whether a wedding party, birthday party, or other events. They even have VIP rooms upstairs with Karaoke facilities. They offer Chinese cuisine and dim sum. The overall taste is good. The price is considered expensive but can be understood since this is a really big restaurant.

Delicious dimsum restaurant, great ambiance and friendly staff. A little bit expensive, but worth the food taste. Really crowded in weekends and public holidays(could queue for 1 hour befor get seated). Kids friendly, they have big table( up to 15 people in 1 table)

Fancy chinese food restaurant with amazing ambiance...and that's it. Food is a bit above average, but seems like they're using too much MSG. Portion is quite small, and the price is too high. Unfortunately, the smoke from the smoking room seems to leak to the entire restaurant. If you're looking for a meeting place, this might suffice.

The best dim sum in Jakarta is located in the LTC Glodok building, Jakarta Pusat. Perfect Chinese / dim sum brunch with family. The place was old but doesn’t feel old with luxury design and clean. Always crowded on weekends, mostly families and groups. Must try Siomay Babi Udang, Pangsit udang goreng, and Hakau (most favorite for us) The price is okay compared to other proper dim sum restaurant in Jakarta Services are always fast and great They have VIP rooms, KTV lounges, and a Ballroom as well for a private occasions for wedding, Sangjit, etc.

Very Recommended Dim Sum The only place that I accept as a dim sum restaurant A luxury place to have a dim sum in the weekend in Glodok area. With a round table, gold decorations, & proactive attendances. I loved their Xiao long pao, Chong fan, & charsiu pao. Other than, fried shrimp wonton with mayo, hakkao, siumai, lo Mai Kai, chicken leg, & Onde. All of it is really good. P.S. If you want to go with your big family, book in advance. Cause every time I go, there's a long lineup of people

The foods are good, although some of you may think the prices are expensive but it is definitely worth it. The service is good too... I can say that the service is as good as Hai Di Lao's and I never see restaurant with a better service. this place is nice and has a lot of seats. Been here 3 times and never has to wait although it was crowded.

This is my second visit here. I travel from Bandung for this special food. The taste is very authentic and of course delicious. The price might be a bit expensive but compare to the ingridient or the portion of the food, I think it's more valued. The service is good, eventhough takes more time to deliver the food....but as I see a lot of customer to be served I think its quite quick. May be they should consider to display the favourite food at a stall, so customer can served stright away (no need to order to kitchen)

I had a birthday lunch here and was surprised to find out that inside of the restaurant was pretty busy considering from the outside it looked like quite empty. We ordered some typical dimsum like siomay, xiao long pao, hakau, lumpia and mie ulang tahun. While the food was good, I don't think it's memorable. I find that portion was quite small and pretty expensive. My fave was mie ulang tahun. Service was a bit slow which understandable considering it's lunch rush, but it took them quite long time to serve the tea.

Its my one of the favorite places to go for dimsums in Jakarta. Though price is little on higher side but food is always good, and service never disappoints. Will surely recommend this to anyone asking a fairly priced dimsum experience.

Could be the most popular Dim-sum restaurant in Jakarta. Food ordering and serving is so efficient and accurate while the huge food hall was full of hundreds of dinners.

We knew that normal waiting time here is around 20-30 mins pre-pandemic. We visited this resto for a Sunday Dimsum and waited around 15 mins - good! After being called at the reception, we were seated at the back. Place was crowded, so many staffs but so little coordination between these people. I can see there were so many trainees around roaming around clueless. Order was hanging so long that I had to call them 5x. Food came and it was still cold inside (steamed spring roll). Every dish we ordered I had to call them to check every 10 mins. Not coming back here, sorry.

Premise - premium posh. It's huge and grand. Makes you feel like a tycoon. We had 2 rooms to make for the 20pax that we were. Service - top notch although they were busy. We had a dedicated staff for the room and she was on the ball. Location - situated at 5th floor of the JTC at Hayam Wuruk area, due to construction works, the u-turn that is safe is further down near the entry to the Chinatown gate if you are coming from Sudirman. Food - we had plenty and all were solid stuff. Only the spicy and sour soup was a let down. Feel like a Ta Ge Ta (big brother) there with all its opulence, Cos the wallet may take a toll.

A humongous chinese restaurant. It has already existed for more than 10 years, so they must be doing something right. I have been there for so many times, for dim sum, dinner, wedding banquets. This is my first visit after five years for a wedding banquet. The taste is standard. Nothing to brag about, but enjoyable. The difference is that now they serve the food in personal portions instead of in one big plate for everybody on the table. This is more hygienic. However, quite a number of dishes were served cool already, not acceptable in a chinese dinner setting outside the cold dishes and the dessert. They should use ovened plates for serving in this situation, just like in western restaurants.

My favorite place to go for dimsum in Jakarta. Can be considered one of the best if not the best. Located in a busy crowded area in Chinatown, the restaurant is quite hidden located on the 7th floor inside LTC building. Price was worth it, food was always good, and service never disappoints. Will surely recommend this to anyone asking a fairly priced 5 star dimsum experience.

My go to place if i want to have nice luxury dimsum! Everything was so good nothing disappoint us. If you came during weekend might be so crowded and dont expect the service to be as good as weekdays.. but overall we love the dimsum and really recommend for family gathering!

Even though the venue looks really fancy, most of the food are affordable (esp. Dim Sum). Excellent table service from the server, they're very polite & patient. Just simply go the fifth floor parking of LTC glodok for an easier access to the restaurant.

Place was great. But the lunch set by the table was mediocre at best. Should have gone for the dim sum. The roast pork were great though.

  • 5/5 vonny s. 1 year ago on Google
The best dimsum is here. My fixed choices definitely are xiao long bao, carrot cake XO, steamed pork ribs, cheong fan cakwe, chicken feet. Price is still considered reasonable. On saturday and sunday it also provides special menus for dimsum. Better come early.
