Best place in town. Many restaurants, bars and places to relax. It's usually busy and crowded. The park is nicely arranged with flowers and palm trees. Nice view of the Split harbor and the ferries.

Beautiful promenade but can get quite windy at times depending on the weather. locals DON'T recommend dining in the restaurants along the promenade though given their excessive price - coffee is fine. Great vibe and safe area. Only thing is there seems to be a lack of public toilet around the area

Yes it's touristy but it's still a fantastic spot for enjoying the view and people watching. The restaurants lining the promenade are overpriced and the quality pretty average - there are better places to eat. But enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine/beer and watching the sunset is a treat. There are also plenty of benches to sit on in front of the eateries or the sea wall itself. Walking to either the marina or pier on either side offers the best place for photos.

A nice pedestrian promenade lined with palm trees, restaurants, bars and shops. This is the place to see and to be seen in Split. It's pretty, crowded and overpriced. Nice to stroll around but only eat here if you're prepared to spend a bit extra coin. The time I did eat here, the food was actually pretty good.

This is a beautiful well organised waterfront. The palm trees have been carefully placed to create a green calming oasis in the middle of such a tourist/crowd hotspot. There are many benches and water fountains dotted around for you to rest and admire the beautiful seafront or the bustling old town and restaurants. Lots of spots in the shade. The area was well maintained, super clean and tidy. I spent many hours over my weekend taking a rest here. There are boat tours nearby and tens of restaurants and independent businesses here as well.

Nice place plenty of bars and restaurants on the front and lots of cobbled streets and old buildings to explore. It's great that the place is been renovated and it's a UNESCO site .

Lovely walking around the harbour, huge yachts and a few cruise ships. I liked the modern benches, solar powered USB phone charging stations!

Very nice little area in Split and close to a variety of options for entertainment. Right in the seaside, with an awesome view to be at the restaurant, or just chilling. Diocletian's Palace is right beside and is really cool with ally ways that have stores, open market, tourism, history and much more. Riva is just the great scenario of an European Summer time. Definitely a must go and when I can I want to go back.

Beautiful walk way filled with good restaurants and cafes and interesting people. The pier was so vibrant and no shortage of luxury yachts docked on the water. This is an busy, energetic and lively city!

Great place to take a stroll early morning or during sunset in the evening. Watching people go about their ways, different types of pets. There are so many restaurants and just sitting by the waterfront makes you feel great and Split is undeniably beautiful.

Whichever way you start, take a leisurely walk up, then down. Choose a bench and sit and stare into the sea. Alternate with looking at the passersby and deciding which ice cream flavor to finally get up for. Enjoy!

A beautiful and widely known promenade, a trademark of Split. On one side are the walls of the old town and Diocletian's palace, and on the other the large and fantastic port of Split. Riva stretches from the Green market to Marmont Street and on the other side from the Port Authority to Matejuška, the marina for small boats. There are a large number of restaurants on the Riva with a very diverse offer. On the other side, in the rows of palm trees, there are a large number of benches for resting and looking at the promenade or the picturesque harbor. In the part of the harbor that is on the Riva, there are a large number of boats and stands where arrangements for various excursions are sold. The waterfront is very photogenic so it's easy to take memorable pictures.

During day a walk is a challenge due to crowd and high temperature. But when evening comes, I cannot describe the beauty of this place. I can walk and walk, and taste every single second here.

Riva is the mix of harbour and promenade in Split . There is a lot of little restaurants and shops but they are very expensive. It is for tourists only who have money to spend. It has nice vibe during the evening. You can find good dark places for astrophotography pictures . But that is all .

Lovely during Christmas. Safe, friendly people. Delicious food all around. And most of all, surrounded by history

Very nice place. You can see a lot of seagulls. There are many cafés and restaurants on the embankment. The sea is so clean that the stones on the bottom are seen.

Great place to visit. Highly recommended. It was very hot but there are places to sit in the shade.

Can’t miss it, mustn’t miss it. Great for people watching. There’s something about being next to the water that’s awesome whether during the day or night. Beautiful during dusk / sunset.

There's so much to see! And food and shops around every corner. Definitely get a walking tour at the beginning of your visit. It will give you a chance to know where to go during your visit. We waited until the end and realized there was a lot we still wanted to check out.

Split Riva is a beautiful promenade right next to the Split old town with loads of shops, bars, restaurant. There is a split sign at the end of the walk. You can see the Diocletian Palace tower from here. There is one entrance to the Diocletian Place right at the Split Riva. The walk through the underground place shops lead straight to the Palace Courtyard.

Lots of nice restaurants, lovely place to walk with boats along the pier. Lots of benches. Seems accessible for everyone. Nice ice cream shops, bars, some souvenirs shops. Most of the restaurants are quite expensive so watch out for that.

Great place to sit and watch the boats come in and out. Plenty of seating by the palm trees. Wonderfully clean and peaceful.

A bustling promenade by the coast, with lots of seats and greenery - to recharge, to soak up the atmosphere and to watch the sunset. You can extend the walk from the Riva to the Ferry Terminal or to the West bank, which has an excellent view of the city.

Stunning. Free to walk and very busy but with good reason. Plenty of amenities, food, drinks etc Has benches to sit and avoid the heat of the day. A beautiful mix of plants and buildings with gorgeous views of the main bay area. Recommended if you visit Split it's a must see!!

Overall it's a lovely place. But it's so touristy. I would advise to keep the style of the shops and adds in balance with the historical wibe of the place. That way it would be simply amazing.

The busiest Street of Split. Its really nice to walk between the beautifully laid palm trees. A lot of entertainment options all around here. Really happening at night. It is filled with tourists at night.

An ideal spot to just sit and have breakfast or just watch everything pass by whilst sitting on a bench under a palm tree. It's easy to spend all day here and not get bored

Awesome place. You can find everything that you like and need here. The port is full of boats, where you can take some Island trips. The view is awesome in the morning or at night too. There are a lot of restaurants with live music. You cannot drive your car through there. There are plenty of parking lots nearby. You can also find night clubs, which are up until morning. You can also eat veggie food, healthy food and traditional cuisine. Wonder the streets to discover live music.
