We enjoyed our stay at Murum. Hotel is a well renovated stone building from the original castle grounds located right inside old town next to palace in a quiet square. You will have easy access to sight and restaurants. Room has a modern deco with high quality fittings. Bed is comfy and room comes with a nespresso machine. Bathroom is well fitted but let down is the lack of water pressure to use the power shower and rain shower properly. Also a few light fixtures were not working. Service staff were super helpful and attentive. We had someone pick up our bags from hotel car park 5mins walk away as we can’t drive into old town where hotel was located. Breakfast was a treat with a broad selection of items from cold meats, cereal, bread, fruits and hot meal on requests such as pancakes and bacon & eggs cooked to your delight. Overall a good experience. We will definitely be back to stay next we are back in Split.

The BEST PLACE TO STAY IN SPLIT, we enjoyed our only 2 days but we love every second of it! Súper Clean!!! Clean and fresh beds, pillows, towels! You get shampoo, conditioner body lotion etc, great coffee, staff is the best! So helpful 24/7, very sweet with our family! I wish all staff from hotels could be this nice, hardworking and sweet! Breakfast is great many healthy options and fresh, great location, highly recommended!!! We will be back for sure to this hotel!!! What a beautiful space, amazing staff and historic location! We walked all over Split, fueled by the gorgeous breakfast, and enjoyed a beautiful room with a heated bathroom floor and comfortable bed. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The location is very convenient for exploring Split. The curtains are very high up so you have to stand on a chair to hang them up. The “parking lot” is really just two spaces in an alley. Our car was trapped in when we wanted to leave but taxis so we had to wait around 15 minutes to get the car out. It’s also not easy to find. The breakfast was okay. The bread was stale which was disappointing for the price of the hotel. Overall it was decent for the evening and quiet enough to sleep in the center of the palace.

It's a great hotel with very nice looking and clean rooms. The staff is far beyond excellent. I want to express my special regards to Ivan Žanko. He's corteous, highly educated and very well informed about the city and the surrounding area. It was a pleasure to have been advised by him. He really made the difference between a nice and a wonderfull holiday.

I cannot fault the stay at this hotel, where the walls are literally part of the 1700 year old palace you are staying next to. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spotless, the decor is extremely tasteful and the staff are attentive and polite. Breakfast is basic but includes all the necessities, and the location is smack bang in the middle of the Old Town. I will definitely be back!

The Hotel Murum was totally fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

A lovely boutique hotel, with only 7 bedrooms. Really nicely decorated, very clean, and so well situated, in the middle of the old town. You can walk to any parts of the old palace within a minute. If you call them, Nicholas will come and pick you up at the dock if you are arriving on a boat, to help you with your luggage. Breakfast is huge, all prepared on site, freshly cooked traditional dishes, as well as standard breakfast dishes. Service is perfect, with Katja and Dea at the reception desk, making sure they have a solution for everything, and an answer to all your questions. They make you feel welcome the minute you step in. We felt well taken care of, and we highly recommend this place. Thank you team Murum for a great stay! All the best for the end of the season:)
