I left them an honest review of 7 based on the fact that the showers didn’t work that wel, that it wasn’t that social for solo travellers, the location wasn’t that easy to find and so on. The owner tried to coerce me into removing this review and tried to make me feel guilty or bad. Said that other people didn’t want to stay at the room with me because I had a cough and they thought I had COVID even though I was never made aware of this or asked for a test. I’m fully vaccinated and I would’ve provided a test if they asked. They then cancelled my booking afterwards so that my review couldn’t be changed anymore. The beds were clean and the place as wel however, the owner has left a really bad impression on me, she comes across really entitled. I would not recommend this place, just because if anything happens they will certainly back stab you.

If you want a hostel that makes you feel like family, with an owner that goes above and beyond to make sure you are having a great stay every single day, then this is the hostel for you. The bedrooms, toilets and living area are always kept very clean and Anja makes a different breakfast every morning, helping cure the many hangovers I put upon myself when staying in Split. The attitude of the hostel is very welcoming and everyone got to know eachother from day 1. Leaving the hostel to.come back home was absolutely heartbreaking and if I return to split, this is most certainly the only choice. I will never forget my stay with Anja and her family as she helped make the week I stayed in split, one of the best weeks I've ever had.

Pros: Breakfast is included in the price, and is good (but you need to pay additionally for coffee!) The front desk is helpful. The common room is large and very comfortable. Cons: I have to push the shower bottom every 15 seconds, which is very inconvenient. The hostel had tons of reasons for my complaints, though reasonable somehow, they still caused great inconvenience for guests!

Marvellous! It exceeded our expectations This was our first experience in an hostel and it exceeded our expectations The room was big and clean. The air conditioner was great The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh and typical products every morning. Anya and her mum were probably the real plus of this hostel. They always welcome you with a smile and help you with everything you need. Anya's mum care was heart-warming, and Anya's recommendations were amazing. Ask her about places where to eat and have fun, you won't regret it. The shower sometimes proved us, turning boiling or freezing. But we could stand that. Thank you all for the marvellous experience. The hostel is beautiful, cozy, tidy and clean. The hosts are truly kind and helpful, they will make your stay better, always. Breakfast is included and it’s actually handmade every morning (and you will love it!). The location is perfect, just a few minutes from city center and plenty of options to buy stuff around (restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, etc.

Awesome experience all around. Clean common areas and bathroom, super friendly staff and a very comfortable bed! Also free breakfast!!

A really nice hostel. They are so lovely, make a great breakfast. We felt really safe during our stay, everything was super clean, there's air conditioning in the rooms and you get an entrance key so you can let yourself in at night. Definitely recommend

okay have to start with it! Anya and her mother are lovely lovely lovely!!! so helpful, kind, caring and Anya is always ready to have. a drink and chat! They looked after me like they were my mums 🫶🥰 this is a great hostel for meeting people and I had an amazing time!!!! The hostel is only a short walk into the centre, great location! beds were comfortable and clean, there is a lovely communal area with lots of seats, sofas and tables! breakfast is included, I slept in too late tho every morning so never tried it fresh 🤣🤣 it is from 8-10am. Showers are a bit temperamental in terms of heat and you ahve to press the button every 15 seconds, but really not the end of the world. bathroom is clean and modern! lockers have keys and you get a key to get into the hostel itself. Really recommend this hostel! if i come back to Split, will stay here!!!! (also i stayed in the 14 bed mixed, and it was great! slept really well and got on with people in my room and other rooms!!)

One of my favourite hostels in Split, Anja the host is very lovely and welcoming. You can tell the place has been designed very well and with comfort in mind. Would highly recommend for anyone coming through Split for a comfortable stay and a warm reception

Best hostel in split!!! The owner was really nice and showed me all the places to go, Ive never been in a hostel this clean before too! Great location, nice people and the included breakfast was awesome! Definately worth it. Love you Anja! ❤️

My daughter's interrailing plans unfortunately changed mid-route and she found herself travelling solo! Her first stop was arriving into Split late a night. We couldn't have asked for a better start than booking into AI Hostel and having Anja as a welcome host. Anja was amazing and helped to arrange a taxi to meet my daughter at the train station to take her to the hostel and helped her to settle in - plus kept me updated - definitely above and beyond. My daughter said that the hostel was perfect - clean and friendly and the breakfast was great. Thank you SO much x

Anja was very accommodating and patient when booking me in. The hostel is spacious and clean and the location is great! Breakfast is lovely. Anja is very personable, friendly and funny; she makes your stay feel very homely <3 i would definitely stay again

Amazing hostel very good location near to old town but away from noisy area , beds are really good , the owner and the staff are amazing , helpful , kind , and friendly , feels like home for few days with them and everything was perfect FYI : i booked direct through google chat not any apps and was super easy check-in GUYS dont miss the amazing home made breakfast 🔥🔥

Great location, tasty breakfast, clean and tidy! Cold beer and good coffee😍. Normally my review would end up here… but in this case It could not! The Atmosphere here is so warm that you will have problem with going back home🙈. That is not 5* hotel but I can not name it just a Hostel it is 2nd home! Spend here 3 nights during my vacation in Split. Can definitely recommend the hostel. Had a warm welcome by the owner and they didi everything to make your stay perfect. The city center is 5min and the riva 10 min by walking. The bathroom, rest room and Rooms were freshly renovated. There is even a parking lot available.

Great hostel! I stayed a couple of nights, staff is super friendly, everything is very clean and tidy. There’s a good atmosphere if you want to meet people. Location is also good!

First of all, we’ve been backpacking and this has been the most friendly hostel we’ve stayed at. The staff was so kind and helpful and made for such a comfortable experience. The rooms/ locker situation is lovely with nice bathroom and lobby. Laundry service saved us. And breakfast was local and so yum, happy to recommend to others!

I’m the type of guy that wears flipflops in the showers in hostels. This is the kind of hostel where you don’t want to make the floor dirty with your street flipflops. Each bed has a light and electricity, a huge kabinet with lock. The breakfast was delicious and made with attention to it! Friends family running it!

Great hostel very clean, great atmosphere. The welcome was perfect, we had no problem there. The bathroom was well equipped and the breakfast was generous.
