Very nice museum, great, detailed displays Honoring Veterans. So much too see. Very well designed. Our guide a former Marine did a great job as our tour guide. I give them a five star rating.

A small, but tightly packed facility full of examples of military memorabilia. Broadly well organized into various groups such as the different branches, the different wars, as well as more focused areas such as the roles women have played, military chaplains, and a section remembering the Holocaust with pieces on loan from the Holocaust Museum in Houston. On the grounds are numerous pieces of old military equipment and an 80% scale copy of the Vietnam Memorial wall. It is an impressive collection and well worth a visit.

I can't say enough good about this place! So much to see and take in! There were many, many hands on items my grandson could hold, look at closely and take wonderful pictures with. It was such a fun way to teach him about our history and have such fun doing it! It took a couple hours to really dig in and explore inside and outside areas. This is such a well put together museum! Several times I had to stop and gather myself, it was very emotional! I will be back for sure! This would be a perfect trip for homeschoolers!

Local heros are honored here along with the usual famous peeps. Our guide was amazing and knew so many answers to the random questions the kids asked! I’m guessing he’d answered them before 😂😂 Mr Kane was his name? I think we took three hours and could have done more but my youngest is 5. Maybe $3 a piece with our homeschool group? There’s also a static display of military equipment outside. It’s right next to the prison museum so you’d have time to do both depending on your age range.

Great place to visit! So much history and information. This museum is self-tour, but employees were there to support and answer any questions. Visiting the museum was a sobering experience because freedom is not free.

My grandfather was in the first wave at Normandy and seeing these vehicles that were in the photos he brought back with him really tugged at my heartstrings. Thank you Paw Paw and all those that sacrificed so much and liberated all those poor people in the concentration camps. OMG and look at what Biden has done to this wonderful country. 😢💔🇺🇸

Really takes more than one day to see everything. Incredible amount of historical items, many you can touch. The military machines outside are so cool. Helicopter, tank, airplane, army trucks and medic van, etc.

This was the first time visiting this location filled with such rich history. In order to truly look/read all documents and photos, it would take several hours to do so. I was thoroughly impressed at the pure level of detail and quantity of artifacts. The museum was very organized and categorized based on time periods. From my understanding, all the employees who work at this location are actual veterans. Therefore, they’re able to provide an immense amount of information on items and share their personal stories. I would recommend anyone to make the trip to take a step back in history. This place would be suited for individuals of all ages. Just note that there’s a Holocaust section which is obviously pretty graphic, so that section may not be suited for children. Overall, it was well worth the visit and cheap admission.

We feel so honored to have such an amazing museum here in Huntsville! Every war and every aspect of those wars are represented so well. They have a really great amount of artifacts. Their store offers many unique items and we just love the items made by the women volunteers. Outside of the building they have a replica of the Vietnam wall, jeeps, tanks, a helicopter, jet. A must see for all ages!

A visit to Huntsville will not be complete without a visit to the HEARTS Veterans Museum. The museum is dedicated to those who served rather than the conflicts served in. Having served in the Army myself, I was very moved by the excellent tributes and information within these grounds. There is so much material to see within this museum that I highly recommend for Veterans and students of history to dedicate at mimumum 2 hours to be able to soak in as much as possible. I was on a time crunch and was not able to give as much time as I would have wanted. The museum also contains a Vietnam Veterans Memorial as well as military vehicles and aircraft outside the museum. I highly recommend visiting the HEARTS Veterans Museum, and please devote as much time as able to truly devote to reading the vast amount of material within the museum.

Amazing place!!!!!!! Had a family festival recently that was a lot of fun. The museum has a ton of great war memorabilia and history. I'm a veteran so I may be a little biased lol. Definitely come check it out!!

It's a very interesting well put together fairly small museum full of history. Our tour guide was well... lets just say he would have been a LOT more fun if they partnered him with a speaking person. He connected with a particular couple in our group and basically left the rest of us on our own. Which in some ways might be better but, really a guided tour with a knowledgeable historian is what we were hoping for. Great gift shop too!

Even though a it's a smaller scale musuem it seems so much more geared to honoring men and women who served especially from the surrounding area. I was impressed by the amount of space awarded to women who served as well as to the holocaust. Something you don't see as much in larger museums.

👍👍 A neat little spot for a dose of Americana. It's a good photo opportunity, and the grounds are pretty cool to stroll through. There is plenty of seating and things to look over. A good leg stretch if you're heading through Huntsville.
