Beautiful little gem of a park with a long history, just east of Springfield. Two playgrounds, a pavilion, hiking trails and a Greenway to explore. Great place of hiking, biking, walking and relaxing. So happy I discovered it.

I've always loved this park, and it's just gotten better with time. They've made a new walking path around the pond, which is lovely and leads over to a waterfall, that is pretty cool to see. There are three bridges, geese and ducks, as well as a cave system. The cave is often closed, for the preservation and protection of the bats that live inside of it. Bathrooms were unlocked this last time we went, and were clean and well kept up, and well stocked with toilet paper, soap, and good running water, and a dryer. The bike path leads both North and South, for miles. This is a gem of a park in Springfield. Definitely highly recommend.

I absolutely love this park!!!! Probably my favorite park in Springfield! I can remember coming to this park as a little kid and now I bring my little ones here! They keep is super clean and maintained well! It's absolutely beautiful all year around! Great walking trails and hiking paths! They also have a great playground for the kiddos and some caves to explore. Oh and the geese wondering around own the park, so please don't let your children chase them or feed them cause it can make them sick. 😁

Stumbled on this quaint little park with foot bridges over a wetland type of pond. Also had decent hiking trails going out from it. I will definitely be back to explore further!

Wonderful park that is dog friendly, bike friendly, skate and any other form you want! Beautiful pond and trails that lead to creek, caves and wooded areas! Benches to rest on and tables to eat at. Playground and restrooms available. Plenty of parking available. Just a great family place to enjoy your day!! Trails are adjacent to take you on miles of walks!!

Great place to bring children, have lunch, and run and play. My kiddo napped for hours after we had fun here which made my afternoon that much more enjoyable so I could catch up on other things. You parents out there know how nice it can be when your kids are tired out and take a long nap! 😉

The was a nice little park with all kinds of hiking trails off in the woods. There are no maps to the trails, so we just kept deciding which way to go and eventually found our way back out. We all enjoyed it and wished we could have gone into the caves but they are closed for the bats. They have two nice play sets, one for younger kids and another for older kids.

This is a pretty park, but overrun with people on the weekend. There are nice waterfalls by the bridges on each end of the lake. The scenery is pretty, and it's a nice place to walk around.

Small park but lots of cool spots to check out. A lot of waterfowl around to enjoy. The biking and walking paths are very nice. One Pavillion with picnic tables. Nice children's playground.

Cool park with lots of different things to do. Parks, creeks, hiking paths, walking paths, a lake, playground. We also attended a parks sponsored bat flight presentation. Really really cool to see!

It's a beautiful park! My only issue is with the people who come down and trash the place with their birthday parties etc. and let the local birds and other wildlife eat their garbage. If you are going to enjoy a place like this, how about picking up after yourself? Aside from that, there's a lot to explore and appreciate here. Please keep it clean and be respectful, or someday we may not have free luxuries like this.

As I watched a family try to have a BBQ at the park with a pending storm looming above, I noticed this homeless guy who had made his home under the nice big shelter. He was blasting the same song over and over, attempting to play and sing along on an electric guitar extremely out of tune. The park was full of onlookers as the father of the family approached the man with his daughter and asked if he could turn off the music and share the shelter. To my horror, the homeless man denied them and turned the music loader. It took all of me not to call the police or approach him myself. Are Springfield parks even safe for families any more?

I love going to sequiota Park after my Dr appointments. A fun and great way to relax, have a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also watch the geese play in the water. See a beautiful cave too. Great place for a family or friend outing too.

We love parks. We frequent them a lot in our hometown and across the country as we travel. They're always great for a short walk with the dogs or to picnic. This park was amazingly beautiful! We saw a family getting professional holiday photos here so you know it's a good spot. We walked around the water. There's a waterfall. We enjoyed the pretty and peaceful water. We hiked up to higher ground a little. There's a cave here but we didn't find it, didn't really look tho. Certain times of the year it's closed.

The trails that I saw were marked every 1/10 mile so that was nice. You can walk around the pond to see the ducks. Down the trail, I passed some ducks herding their ducklings. You have to go off road in some places where there was some flooding, but it is still nice to have a paced trail to run on. I will be back to explore more.

Beautiful park, amazing trail. I love the way they use recycled bottles to have floating shade areas for the fish, it was super cool! The cave is awesome, I'm glad they're keeping bats safe!

Great place to take the kids, walk the dog, or just be outdoors! Climb the rocks, explore the trails, or enjoy the park!

There is shade for much of the walking trail. The trail is paved, and there are benches located at various locations on the trail. Easy parking and there is a restroom for both men and women. I have always found the restrooms to be clean as well. I also feel safe on the walking trail, which is very important.

It's a nice little park. Lots of small trails to walk. The caves are neat, and even though you can't go inside, you can still take pics from outside. There is a single small playground and a shelter house. Bathrooms onsite, also. The water in the pond is so clear you can see the fish swimming. My only complaint is due to ignorant littering. There were a couple trash receptacles around the park, but maybe a couple more would decrease some of the trash I saw building up in the water near the bridges.
