Finding a good jeweler is as hard as finding a good mechanic but Smith & Son makes it easy to trust who you are going to. They reset some Yogo Sapphire earrings for me in 14kt gold after the sterling silver settings they came with started irritating my ears. The new settings are absolutely stunning, same design as the original but better, and they honored my request to extend the posts. They are so comfortable now. It was a fair price to have them redone and the quality of the backs they gave me is amazing. They’ve also changed watch batteries for me, fixed a broken bracelet for me and reset prongs on stones and the prices are extremely reasonable. I can’t speak highly enough of this jeweler and the staff is all phenomenal. They are really a standout jeweler, they are always busy when I go in and you can see why. Prices on jewelry they sell also seems very reasonable and the quality and selection is stunning. Update: I went back to get some insurance appraisals done and Andrew and his team are the best, they were very thorough with the appraisals. I was also really hard pressed not to walk out with some of the gorgeous jewelry they had!

I can't say enough about Smith & Sons Jewelers. We were looking for wedding gifts for our children and we had jewelry that needed repairs and they were able to help us with everything. I was greeted by friendly, down to earth and helpful staff. We had been to several other jewelers but felt like a number and the inventory felt gaudy. These folks carry a variety of classic jewelry for a broad appeal. If we went here first we would have saved alot of time searching!!

When picking up some of my jewelry that needed small repairs, I decided to have my wedding ring looked at. We found 75% of my prongs were compromised!! Smith & Sons rebuilt my wedding rings and they are absolutely beautiful… it brought tears to my eyes!! I will recommend this jewelry shop to anyone! Such kind, genuine staff members.

Amazing service! Went there during my lunch break to see if I could get a new battery for my watch and it was done in about 5 mins maybe even less. The price was also better than expected. Highly recommended!!!!

I shopped various well-known jewelry stores in the Enfield area for estimates to repair and restore my grandmothers 100-year-old engagement ring as well as my mother's 60-year-old diamond engagement ring. Toms work on both of these beloved pieces exceeded my expectations! He was able to restore them to the original appearance which was a pleasant surprise to me as the decades of wear and tear were removed. The watchmakers (yes! Plural!) are knowledgeable, honest, and experienced. Plus they’re friendly, and always helpful. Not too many good watchmakers in the area so this place is gold.

I brought two rings to Tom needing alterations that no other jewler in the area would accommodate. One was an antique ring inherited from my mother needing sizing. The second, was a Lady Di style emerald ring soldered to a diamond surround jacket that I wanted separated from the ring.Tom had no hesitation accommodating either repair and did an excellent job on both pieces and in rapid time. Tom is a skilled and talented jewler...a diamond in the rough! We are lucky to have him in the area. Thank you Tom.

The best of the best. Unfortunately, I brought my Swiss watch to another Jeweler first, who installed a stale battery, and mis-installed the bracelet. I visited Smith and Son's where I should have gone in the first place, and they installed a fresh battery, and repaired the bracelet for as low nomimal fee. While I waited.
