Awesome restaurant down by the lake with nice views I bought a water here and have put the menu in the photos I will have to come back and try their food as I only bought a water here The staff were very welcoming and friendly It is a great place to unwind and chill

It’s a refreshing place with a calm vibe. Facing the diyawanna lake therefore has a good breeze which I liked. Most importantly they serve beer after 2pm. Beer towers or pitchers available. Service was good and quick. Nice place to hangout with friends or family in the evenings. Recommended!

Calm and Cool park. You can take your family on a evening time to spend a good time with family at a place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the artificial attached to each. There is a children's play area and water facing seatings and carnival. The carnival is good for children and the "Boat Ride" to the other side of the water's edge is also available to get to the carnival.

A superb place to chill out with friends in the evening. Not too crowded. However, food and drink options are limited compared to most other restaurants

We thought we will give this place a try as the view was great . I love the poke steak dish but a little greasy. Ordered alcohol and noticed the 50ml is not 50ml . Ordered twice just to make sure . Also ordered a 25ml serving just to compare so I know for sure . Just to make it hard to compare they served the 25ml in a different kind glass to the 50ml . Make your own choice when you order . Just saying as you have paid for it . It's your right to get what you have paid for .

It used to be a nice place that people could hang-out with friends in the night. However the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming and the food was extremely bland. There wasn't any fruit juices available and the menu lacked options for kids friendly beverages. Hence we had no choice but to buy carbonated drinks. A dedicated parking area is available for this place.

Week days it's more nice 7am to noon.u have hot tasty breakfast.. fresh breeze more comfy in walk way.

Environment is great. A great place to spend time with your family/friends. Outdoor seating is available with a romantic atmosphere. Food was delicious and the cocktails were superb ❤️

Spent a relaxed evening at Boardwalk. Very airy and calm. Service was good abit slow. Food was tasty and good quantity. Indoor outdoor sitting.

The moment we arrived to their place was really perfect moment for us, it's a calm, quiet, peace and relaxed atmosphere. You'll surely feel the restfulness and tranquility by the sound of nature around you.. the people, staff and others were so nice that it made the placevery comfortable for us. Totally we enjoyed our evening a lot and would come back again. Recommend !! 🤗❤️

Place : Cool relaxing place next to Diyawannawa Perfect place to be on a sunny day evening. Spacious arrangement of dining area. Food : Worst food we experienced from a WatersEdge restaurant. Beef Devil - not cooked properly Beer marinated Chicken - felt like eating raw French Fries - no salt at all Hot butter Cuttlefish- Average Greek Salad- large salad leaves,poor presentation Once we get these bad experience with all these items, we decided to leave the place without having our main course. I hope someone will change the chef as soon as possible and keep the food aligned with price tag and the brand name of WatersEdge. Giving a 3 star just because of the location. PS : High-tech menu using a tab, that’s really nice.

The place is good looking and has a beautiful view but the food is rubbish. We had to wait for the food for a very long time and when it was served, it was cold, also the food isn't worth the money(my chicken was burnt and the gravy wasn't like gravy at all), I have had way better food in underrated restaurants. The DJ was doing the worst job ever. Don't even want to give this restaurant 1 star, it's that bad.

Food - Average - had multiple times - always the same - not Atmosphere is good if it's a cool day 😁 Since this is an outdoor restaurant. Open to the lake. In some days it's too hot and some times smelly. 🙈🙈 Now you have to pay for parking if you parked at Diyatha near The restaurant.

Awesome place to spend time - alone, as a twoesome, with family & friends - at anytime, on any day. Its so expansive and full of green you can have quiet quality time without being bothered by others passing by.

Have to wait more than 15mins until someone come to get the order. I ordered Nasi goreng but I got a Mongolian rice. Somehow they have mixed up the order.

The place is spacious and has a good vibe. Bit, we couldn’t sit at the garden as it was raining before. The staff told us better to sit inside than the garden. The motive was not know as if they were reluctant to serve at the garden at that time. The service is good. Food is tasty. But, the portion can be improved. The music was too loud. We couldn’t even hear each other.

Love the atmosphere and the coziness of the cafe. The food is very tasty. But most of all the service is so good, from the parking attendants, to the sandwich bar chefs and the servers behind the display counters are so friendly and courteous and helpful, Wonderful Service. Service, atmosphere was really relaxing. Portions were enough for 2 people. Ideal place to relax over a chill beer while looking at the lake. Recommended and its a child friendly place too where kids can run around and enjoy.

Beautiful place. Good for dinner. Good and very friendly staff . It's the best during evenings , specially sunset. Cocktails here are good. you can have beer from the tap too This is a great place with nice views of the capital city. Staff is friendly and food is worth the money. They serve alcohol and live music during weekends. Big screens sports entertainment also available. Good for family , friends gathering. Overall great service. High Recommend . ❤️

A great place to relax, you get the cool breeze coming from Diyawanna Lake. Live music and the big screen to watch sports, makes it that much more interesting.

An outdoor restaurant with a beautiful landscape overlooking the Diyawanna lake, Boardwalk surely is the perfect spot for you if you want to have a nice quiet lunch away from the urban busyness. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was mouth watering and surely worth the price. Although it’s an outdoor restaurant anyone can enjoy a nice meal with privacy. Highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward for another dining! Negative Not so much varieties to choose from the menu and takes more time to make the food.

Perfect location and nice view ..food is great and tasty ..Price is too high same as 7 star .. specially when you take your own cigarette pack steward's ask favour n take one cigarette from our pack ..after they collect and make pack re-sale that for costumers again for high price .. it happen to me also two times few years ago and today (18/10/2020) .

Blissful dining experience under the sky lit by a jumbo television playing indian football club matches surrounded by trees although we had to move inside the tent due to rain service was over the top. Place was packed even at 11pm team pulled in more tables for those waiting to sit. Didn't care much for food. Music was great performers humble enough to greet the customers who walk upto them beer 650-1200 juice 350-650 starters soup same chinese seafood chicken all brothy but not bad 1200-2000 overall spending below 5k for a couple Friday night over 20 for a family of 10

Excellent location and delicious dine. Western dine and alcohol are available. Took Mongolian friend rice and hot butter cuttle fish, lion beer and mixed fruit juice cost 3800 Rs, reasonable price.

I used to patronize this place very often. Good location for a beer and a meal. I guess it's it's not operational currently due to the pandemic

Great for an evening chat & light meal. This has both sheltered & open spaces. Boardwalk is located next to a water body, so you wouldn't feel warm or require an A/C. Known for their range of bites & beverages, you'd also find major sport matchups shown on a big screen. Feel free to take a walk down the peaceful walking-park. They've got great fresh juice for a fairly reasonable price

One of nice and classy place to enjoy the evening with a beer nice foods with your partner or a friends. Has a separate parking for customers. So you don't need to park your vehicle at diyatha parking. Food are delicious and little bit expensive.
