late
March
to
April
end
is
considered
as
the
best
time
to
visit
the
garden.

year
in
the
month
of
April,
the
Jammu
Kashmir
government
celebrates
the
Tulip
Festival
in
which
tourists
can
enjoy
breathtaking
views
of
the
gardens
at
their
full
bloom.
It
is
south
Asia’s
largest
Tulip
festival
that
has
been
named
after
the
Indian
PM,
the
late
Indira
Gandhi
(Donno
why..).
This
Festival
displays
a
large
variety
of
tulips
and
boasts
60
varieties
of
multi-colored
tulips.
It
resembles
a
beautiful
carpet
that
has
hundreds
of
colors
and
provides
a
heavenly
view
to
the
thousands
of
visitors,
national
and
international.
Around
2
million
tulip
bulbs
bloom
here
and
proudly
display
their
beauty
to
tourists.

also
feature
a
number
of
cultural
programs,
the
sale
of
local
handicrafts,
Kashmiri
folk
songs,
and
other
forms
of
arts.
