Very enjoyable visit to this botanical garden with it's cascading water features and pavilions. The garden was in bloom with a large variety of summer flowers including roses, dahlias, marigolds, zinnias, and other perennials and annuals. The gardens primary appeal is it's combination of water basins and cascading water falls that flow from the back of the garden to the front entrance. We visited on a week day in July and the garden was full of tourists enjoying the gardens, along with many young children swimming in the water basins. The corner towers in the distance were also quite interesting.

Nishant Garden is on the banks of famous Dal Lake in Srinagar. It is the choicest attraction of tourists visiting Kashmir. Best season to tour this Garden is from April to September. Although it remains packed with tourists during this season but access to entry tickets is not that much troublesome. After touring the garden you can enjoy some delicious food right outside the garden on the banks of famed Dal Lake.

One of the most popular places of Srinagar and i would recommend everyone to visit it atleast once. It has different feel in morning and evening. I would recommend going in morning if you want quite and alone stroll among flowers. Evenings are more happening with lights and crowd.

Its a beautiful garden, with steep stepped Gardens. Beautiful flowers beds , water flowing down the steps. I recommend seniors to better enjoy in other two gardens Nishat and Shalimar, as its more comfortable there . You will not miss anything, rather enjoy more with ease and without hurting your legs . Have great time.

Beware of These Fraudulent Operators! False Advertising: The shop used pictures of a garden to lure unsuspecting tourists like me. This is nothing short of false advertising. I came here expecting a peaceful garden, only to find shelves filled with overpriced trinkets and souvenirs. Deceptive Tour Leader: To make matters worse, I was brought to this place by my tour leader, who conveniently failed to disclose the true nature of this establishment. It later came to my attention that the tour leader receives a hefty 30% commission on anything purchased by tourists they bring here. This blatant conflict of interest is a disgrace to ethical tourism.

I have been to this place along with my family while visiting Jamie during the month of July 2022. The place is a bit expensive but you find authentic kashmiri art, crafts and clothing here. Tourists can check it out, decide later to buy or not to. Located in the main market opposite to Nishat gardens on the banks of famous Dal Lake. At the end of the market you can find shikara's for a beautiful serene ride on the lake. There are many better Options available if you prefer to go to Lal Chowk market in Srinagar.

Highly overpriced, very limited variety. If you are after cashmere, best to visit Lal chowk, Rajbagh, Nowshera. For local fashion products market, also visit Gani Khan market.

It's a small shop under chashme Shashi selling Kashmere suits for women and young girls. The collection is decent enough and comes with a fixed price tag. But you can get a discount of 5-10% on a shopping of 4-5k.

I highly recommend this place for buying finely crafted wooden decor pieces. I found better collectibles here and also reasonably priced as compared to any store in Laal Chowk. The shopkeeper was extremely helpful and friendly. He even gave me a parting gift. Lovely little store with great products to shop from.
