My
wife
and
I
went
to
tryst
for
a
birthday
meal
for
the
both
of
us.
To
start
with
I
want
to
say
the
food
was
quite
delicious
and
the
atmosphere
was
lovely.
However,
there
were
a
couple
of
items
that
left
us
a
bit
disappointed.
To
start
with,
we
have
been
to
many
small
plate
type
or
tapas
style
restaurants
similar
Tryst
and
have
always
had
the
staff
guide
us
through
the
menu
and
make
suggestions.
As
this
was
our
first
time
at
Tryst
we
asked
our
waitress
to
help
us
with
their
menu
(we
like
to
hear
what
the
staff
favourites
might
be)
and
unfortunately
she
was
not
really
that
helpful.
We
also
asked
if
we
should
order
all
our
plates
all
at
once
or
if
we
should
order
them
as
we
go.
Our
waitress
said
that
we
could
order
our
plates
all
together
and
she
would
send
them
out
kind
of
by
the
course.
We
started
with
a
charcuterie
board
and
unfortunately,
halfway
through,
all
of
our
plates
ended
up
coming
out
all
at
once.
This
unfortunately,
kind
of
soured
the
experience
as
we
felted
rushed
to
eat
our
meal
while
it
was
warm
and
fresh.
Thinking
we
could
enjoy
a
glass
of
wine
prior
to
dessert,
we
barely
ate
our
dessert,
we
were
then
we’re
asked
to
clear
up
our
bill
because
they
had
other
reservations.
