We’ve
lived
nearby
since
1992,
so
we’ve
taken
our
own
children
there,
as
well
as
our
grandchildren.
It
really
hasn’t
changed
much
at
all
in
that
time.
The
colours
have
faded
on
the
heavy
plastic
climber,
the
basketball
court
needs
a
bit
of
an
update,
and
some
of
the
shrubs
are
in
dire
need
of
pruning
and
cutting
back.
There
are
a
few
time-worn
benches,
which
should
be
replaced
with
newer
ones
and
shrubs
near
them
cut
back.
When
it
rains
it
floods
in
parts,
so
it’s
iffy
getting
around
if
you
don’t
have
boots
on,
but
the
dogs
don’t
seem
to
care.
There
is
also
a
soccer
field,
so
when
this
is
being
used,
much
of
the
road
is
understandably
taken
up
with
parked
cars.
There
are
toddler
swings,
and
swings
for
older
kids,
as
well
as
a
climber
with
a
slide
that
the
kids
seem
to
enjoy.
I’ve
always
looked
upon
it
as
a
safe
park,
inasmuch
as
it
is
in
the
middle
of
a
pleasant
neighbourhood,
with
cars
going
by
frequently,
and
homes
surrounding
the
park
on
all
four
sides.
