Had
two
unfortunate
run
ins
with
this
building
and
its
staff.
On
two
occasions
I
worked
for
this
building
who's
owner
is
out
of
Toronto
let
me
start
off
by
saying
that
upon
being
hired
I
was
notified
I
was
not
an
employee
but
an
independent
contractor
which
is
fine
if
but
not
when
the
building
is
proving
the
hours
and
providing
a
schedule
with
breaks
and
lunches
ect.
But
that's
just
the
tip
of
this
iceburg.
First
time
around
I
was
hired
as
a
cleaner
this
was
nice
I
enjoyed
interacting
with
residents
and
enjoyed
cleaning
to
the
best
of
my
abilities
was
never
late
or
absent
during
my
tenor
as
a
cleaner.
Aside
from
cleaning
I
would
assist
the
other
independent
contractors
with
helping
"flip"
the
apartments.
I
came
in
contact
with
some
of
the
most
unprofessional
and
dangerous
work
I've
ever
seen
anything
from
improper
handling
of
work
tools
like
saws
and
other
extremely
dangerous
tools
absolutely
no
use
of
saw
horses
instead
the
80+
year
old
maintenance
man
used
his
one
leg
and
a
jig
saw
in
the
other
hand
to
cut
baseboard
trim
additionally
this
same
method
was
used
much
to
my
surprise
with
a
skill
saw
with
no
guard
attachment.
To
say
that
most
of
my
job
was
ensuring
this
individual
did
not
injured
himself
or
others
is
an
understatement.
Nonetheless
I
continued
working
at
that
time
they
had
employed
a
woman
who
it
was
brought
to
my
attention
by
the
other
workers
and
tenants
that
this
woman
had
been
convicted
of
fraud
Involving
bookeeping
one
in
which
had
been
a
well
publicised
story
in
the
local
news
just
do
your
own
research
if
you
have
any
doubts.
I
witnessed
many
incidents
of
outright
racist
remarks
and
actions
taken
by
this
woman
who
was
in
charge
or
renting
the
units
and
overall
management
of
the
building
she
also
handled
paychecks
and
rent.
Anyone
see
the
problem
yet?
Alliance
properties
knowingly
hired
someone
who
is
not
bondable
to
handle
rental
I
quire's
where
people
are
exposing
some
very
sensitive
data
to
this
woman
for
some
time
among
other
things.
Our
relationship
wasn't
sour
until
she
met
my
wife
who
is
from
Trinidad
and
isn't
white
this
is
where
the
treatment
of
me
specifically
changed
and
I
was
ultimately
fired
after
her
continued
harassment
of
me
about
the
quality
of
my
cleaning
where
prior
to
her
meeting
my
wife
she
had
been
very
impressed
as
had
other
tenants
about
how
clean
it
was
I
genuinely
took
pride
in
my
work.
At
any
rate
I
was
fired
fast
forward
to
about
three
years
later
my
wife
receives
a
call
from
the
owner
David
offering
me
a
job
not
as
a
cleaner
now
this
time
working
with
other
onsite
people
to
help
flip
apartments
as
some
of
the
other
staff
had
left.
At
the
time
I
had
just
been
layed
off
and
once
again
room
the
opportunity
this
time
much
to
my
surprise
the
previous
super
was
still
in
her
position
and
once
again
up
to
the
same
things
but
this
didn't
last
long
and
she
was
eventually
fired.
Not
bad
right?..
wrong
much
worse
I
got
to
see
just
how
David
and
alliance
want
things
done
upon
being
sent
to
a
unit
where
the
wall
was
literally
bulging
out
from
condensation
behind
the
wall
basically
in
between
their
walls
seems
to
be
a
lot
of
moisture
and
cold
or
wet
air
sometimes
I
found
instead
of
correcting
this
properly
the
process
was
to
open
up
the
wall
and
prime
it
then
use
a
very
large
amount
of
durabond
90
to
patch
this
almost
every
unit
has
this
same
issue
I
can
guarantee
any
unit
you
walk
into
will
have
walls
falling
apart
even
the
"premiere"
suites
which
are
hastily
thrown
together
using
sub
par
and
sometimes
damaged
materials
of
course
cabinets
and
appliances
are
a
nice
addition
but
using
baseboard
to
make
a
post
for
a
kitchen
island
especially
with
electrical
running
through
it
is
not
my
idea
of
premiere.
Anyway
much
of
the
same
cheap
fixes
and
poor
handling
of
just
general
building
operations
for
tenants
to
comfortably
live
and
that's
whose
losing
in
this
the
most
I
wouldn't
recommend
living
here
and
I
warn
against
renting
from
them.
