I wouldn't normally review a park, but this one is different. I used to live on Erion Rd, long before most of the houses along the street existed, and when Johnson Park was still the Johnson farm house. "Old man Johnson" owned everything on this side of Erion, down into the valley where the walking trails are now, and for a coule kilometers along First St. It was primarily graperies, with some fruit trees in the gully. Johnson was a completely miserable coot that was known for chasing people off his property, often waving a shotgun. The playground equipment now sits almost on the exact site of his house - I nearly drove off the road the first time I came up the street and saw it. I was laughing so hard. I can't help but salute the irony of this space being a playground with walking trails!

Great little parked tucked away in Erion Estates. Lots of green space, a basketball court and a walking trail at the back of the park. It was a little busy when we first arrived but then we had the park to ourselves.

Pretty quiet and nice area to take the little kiddies to burn some energy

I go here all the time. Great if your little one likes to play with other kids, good amount of "traffic" here.
