I would like to know if you think these noodles are well cooked or uncooked they were hard sticky and tasteless. On the other, it only remains to see the photo to realize that it is too much onion, it was an onion dish with a few mushrooms and 5 almonds. I will never order food in this place again.

Ordered Turkey Combos for my family's Easter, the food was just superb! Fresh steamed broccoli, yummy garlic bread, tender and juicy turkey melting in my mouth, everything was beyond my expectation from the phone service to the food quality. We were greeted by Alexandra, who was super friendly. She asked us if we had been there before and took her time to walk us through all the different islands and explained to us in detail all the how-to. Then Jill was very friendly and visited the table frequently to ensure that we had all that we needed. Food is very tasty, I wanted to have everything! It is definitely a place to return.

This Mandarin location is definitely our families favourite restaurant in town. Head to few times and never got disappointed. First time enjoyed their new concept small eats, and it turned out another phenomenal experience. Nice people fresh food, well deserved 5 stars, what else can you say? It’s Mandarin!

Mandarin has been my family's favorite restaurant over the years. Their quality of service is excellent as well as their food. I highly recommend visiting Mandarin if you're looking for a buffet restaurant! I'm happy to hear that they are now open for business again. I am also loving the Mandarin small eats that they had during the weekdays, I tried it with my sister and my sister is very satisfied as she doesn't eat much so the concept of the small eats suits her taste. We will be definitely be coming back along with my family for the small eats as well as the buffet. Looking forward to it!

This restaurant has an incredible selection along with a rock waterfall, gorgeous aquariums, and friendly servers! A hot herbal towel us given to you to freshen up before or afterward. Upon entering, your temperature is taken and safety protocols put in place. Lunch and weekdays are more if a bargain in price for this cornucopia of dining. I was very highly impressed. Enough food for vegans, low-carb dining, and seafood lovers! Can't wait to return! Plenty of parking available.

Jenny was very friendly and we appreciate how quickly she came by to clear up the table between our many courses of delicious food. Jenny works very hard but she always seemed happy. They serve a top notch Long Island Ice Tea here. Curry chicken is so good. The wasabi is perfect. Plenty of choices for any palate. Only snag at was at the end of the meal after paying. The hand held device used to process payment wasn't working and we were delayed from leaving until we could prove we paid.

They are always so welcoming, friendly, and hard working to make sure everyone is served. The food is also great as usual. My wife and I took advantage of the Mandarin's 50% off special for seniors over 65, on October 1st, 2021. We made sure the buffet was open. It was. We enjoyed it very much, but my wife was disappointed that every vegetable dish seemed to be laced with garlic. We paid the bill and on the way out, she said to the manager Paul Si, that she used to be able to get a vegetable dish that WASN'T spiked with garlic but is no longer available. She went on to say that she likes garlic, but it doesn't like her. Paul said to us, "If you can't eat food with garlic, then let us know and we'll make you a vegetable dish without garlic." WOW!!! We were MOST impressed. NOW, we can't wait to go back!! We are so very glad they survived the pandemic, but one of the servers said that they BARELY survived it, hence the raised prices.

Amazing food. We paid around 25$ and ate so much. It’s definitely worth the price. Had so many different options to choose from. The staff was very friendly.

We dine in last week for the first time in this location and it didn’t disappoint. Considering it’s Wednesday and not too busy the food was fresh. Juicy prime rib, delicious salmon, sushi, shrimps and wide array of grilled items….Paul, the manager made sure we were taken care of well. He is very personable and always cheerful. We booked a party celebration next month and was reserved the best party room. Leo, the server was very attentive and took care of our table constantly and our take out items was handled properly. We will definitely come back here again and would recommend everyone when you’re in the St. Catharine’s/Niagara area.

Last week I went with my family to have Lunch. The food was amazing and super fresh. My kids loved the dessert they had a big verity of different things. There was also a waitress named Elly she was very nice and super helpful.

Came here for my 17th birthday with family, beautiful sushi made when I came, despite it being a busy weekend the sushi and fried grill foods remained in stock and fresh ❤️ our waitress was super sweet and was always quick to refill our water +clear our dirty plates. Cant wait to come again on my next birthday!!!

I went to Mandarin last week. Everything was exceptional. Hannah was my server. She was super friendly and took care of my table very well. She delivered the best service beyond my expectation. The food was very good with various options. Definitely come back again for such a great dining experience.

Love the occasional Chinese food buffet I’ll give it a pretty good review but I’m also writing this review while I’m waiting for my bill so that amount could change things but otherwise lovely place. And my server Anna was lovely and entertaining. Got the bill it was kind of acceptable. Four star is an awesome review! Five star is above and beyond. They did as expected I’m very happy with their service.

Went for Mother's Day for the celebration with my 99 years old mother, this location turned out a bomb to us! Great varieties of food and super friendly service! It was pretty busy at rush hour and I could tell that all staff worked extremely hard to maintain the food quantity and service. My mom was so touched by this, and she let me pass a big THANK YOU to the management and staff of St. Catharines Mandarin. I will for sure bring my 96 years old father to this location for Father's Day celebraton! GREAT JOB!

I had the most wonderful lunch with my grandma today! I don’t come to the mandarin often but I am so pleased with the service I received today. Chris and Sharon were polite and cheerful and aided to happy environment we felt as we dined. I never felt rushed, and I was especially appreciative of when I was asked if I wanted anything like soy sauce and other condiments brought to the table. I was surprised by the thoughtfulness and it really stood out to me. Sharon and Chris always had a smile on their face and it didn’t feel forced, which made me feel comfortable. My brothers birthday is on the 30th I think I will come Oct 01 for seniors day again with the whole family. The moon cakes were the culinary highlight of my visit and the tea was made so perfectly.

Food was great hot and fresh. They have the small food bowl to service instead of big one to keep food fresh. The servants is quick and no waiting around for them to come by the table. Felt like a high class restaurant.

I just experienced the worst take out dinner from here!! My dinner arrived cold and I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls that were so over cooked that they cracked open with hardly any chicken in it. And the worst part of my meal was the lemon chicken….so absorbed in oil, it was like eating a sponge of vegetable oil!!! I can still taste it from the two bites I was able to swallow. I thought restaurants were trying to keep customers happy not push them away with poor quality cooking. I will definitely not be ordering from here ever again, as this is not the first time they’ve disappointed me, but it is the last.

We had a great time with close friends. Jenny Elly was our server, and she was awesome, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant was bright and clean with just enough decoration to make it festive. I love that they don't have loud music playing, so you can hear the conversation you are having. The food stations were organized neatly with a large selection at each one. The food was the perfect temperature, and servers readily replaced any empty places. My only wish was to have had their chocolate covered strawberries 😉

Was on bus trip to Niagara Falls and eating at this restaurant was part of the price of the trip. Was sceptical when we arrived, but once inside and seen how beautiful it was decorated and spacious it was I became more optimistic. The buffet has to be one of the largest I've ever eaten at or many be the largest. The food and service was top notch. I would highly recommend it any day.

We had a lovely time, but I left an honest review before we left that wasn’t satisfactory enough for the management. Before leaving they literally, physically stopped us from leaving while they watched until I deleted the review I made. The staff said if that review stayed they would be fired. To make us feel better about it all they ended up compensating us with a free meal, but I would have rather just been allowed to leave the restaurant. We weren’t that upset by anything. They got a good review. So posting this again, My review would have been much better had they not stopped us for leaving. Even with the free meal they gave us. Not sure I’ll be back.

Came to visit Canada for my birthday! Came to the Mandarin for my birthday lunch! It was AWESOME! Stephanie*, Jen, & Lily were great! Sang happy birthday to me & everything. The mini cupcake w/ a candle and the jello was so cute! Food was beyond delicious and the selection of items was HUGE! cant wait to come back! Thank you all again so much!

My husband and I sometimes visit Mandarin restaurants. Every time we visit, the food always maintains a perfect taste and keeps it fresh because of its fast buffet turnover. Especially our server, Anna's service, was spectacular. She did her best to help us with our dinner even though it was a busy time, she focused on our table and provided us with everything we needed even before we ask to help. We had a very satisfying dinner. We will visit again next time because of the food of the Mandarin restaurant and Anna's kindness.

Jenny Eunice was our hostess. Very friendly. Her and her team provided excellent service. The food was good although my first serving of prime rib was cold. The second was fresh from the kitchen. I found it a bit over done for prime rib which should really be no more than a medium rare. The recipe for the mashed potatoes has changed since my last time here. I preferred the previous version. The restaurant was recently clean. Considering a dinner buffet now runs $40+ for an adult, I would have thought they would have free WIFI for guests. I realize restaurants want you to drink their beverages that they have for sale. That's completely understandable but to make me drink the water they have for free instead of allowing me to drink the bottle of plain spring water I had was a bit extreme.

Hi. I included honey garlic ribs in our New Years Eve order. I think they forgot the honey. Was not as sweet or the sauce as thick as it usually is.

Food was a bit too salty, and some customers didn't bother wearing a mask. The staff saw customers not wearing masks but didn't bother to say anything. We told the staff and they said they warned the mask-free people, but this Mandarin has to take better steps to improve. Also the food was not covered and there were some flies landing on the food. On the other hand, waiters were friendly and most of the staff were very welcoming.

We had a great time eating a delicious food at Mandarine. The entire team were committed to a great service and were very friendly. The manager Paul was a wonderful host we were welcomed warmly. We also had manager Wendy walking into us and making sure we are enjoying our food and all is good. Servers were great and efficient, happy and polite. Overall we enjoyed our experience. :))

My good friend Paul and I had a very delicious lunch on March 10th, 2023 at Mandarin on Bunting Road, St. Catharine’s. The decor, where the buffet is, has a light blue ceiling with different coloured paper umbrellas hanging down, plus other decorations, it’s beautiful. Nice very large dining room; comfortable seats. Fantastic buffet display, so bright, very clean stations. Each station, has a huge variety of salads, desserts and hot foods. There are red tongs, at each selection of food, in a small vessel, for cleanliness. Our waitress, Stella, was terrific, very attentive, very sweet, great customer service. She’s a definite asset to Mandarin. No hesitation in recommending Mandarin. Thank you for a great buffet and service. We’ll definitely be back.

When visiting the beautiful Niagara Falls, I met this buffet restaurant with a good environment and good food variety.The service level of the beautiful Caroline is very good. I feel a sense of intimacy in a foreign country. we will definitely visit again next time.

Came here for my son (Colin) and daughters (Maddy) birthdays. Eunice and Daisy went above and beyond for them both. Food was hot and fresh. If your kid needs somewhere to go for their birthday I would recommend here!! Colin and Maddy were so happy! Management was great too.
