👍 I love the bathing facility that they have. I understand that each store is individually owned but it would be nice if there was consistency in the bathing areas. This store has great towels and really nice staff but they do not have any treats for the dogs so you either have to buy some from there... People often mention store, staff, people, friendly, cashier, price, items, nice, clean, Frills,

I love the bathing facility that they have. I understand that each store is individually owned but it would be nice if there was consistency in the bathing areas. This store has great towels and really nice staff but they do not have any treats for the dogs so you either have to buy some from there or bring your own. Dryers work great and the water pressure is good. I would love to see a stop or pause button on the water.

This is my first time visiting Marks No frills (just because it's not the closest to my house, no other reason) And I had an excellent visit today. It was a Friday, around 10:30 a.m., I was impressed by the size of the aisles and the displays. Everything was easy to find, everything was signed, the staff were all working, there were three cash registers open and the lineups moved very quickly. I was most impressed, after having purchased $100.28 worth of groceries, to have been able to use my President's choice points and redeem $100 worth of groceries...my entire order cost me $0.28!!

This store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly. It’s the best discount grocery store in the city.

Why can’t there be a direct number to the stores to find if things are in stock? Other grocery stores do it and with the price of gas and inflation (7.7%) making every drive count is important more than ever now. Several times I’ve driven to nofrills for items on sale to only find out they are out of stock. This morning when I tried to call ahead (to save gas money) I was told they do no offer in store product quantity details. I can understand where they may be coming but with the ever increasing inflation and prices for EVERYTHING, this would be a huge benefit and incentive for individuals trying to save money to go to nofrills if they offered it. Just saying… otherwise people may be forced to go else where for their groceries.

Shoutout to someone I believe to be the manager, I think they said their name was Blake. I watched as he had to deal with an unsavoury customer who was stealing / causing a disturbance. He remained professional and polite in a situation where most would find it difficult to do so. I found a product on the shelf that expired in March of this year. I'm not sure how it made its way there since it's nearly August but I gave it to an employee and they were super nice about it. There was a bunch of stuff on clearance, which was nice to see since the prices of everything is so high. I love that No Frills still price matches and I love that they have a decent points system.

This is the cleanest NO Frills Store I have seen in Niagara Region. And...the only one that carries the Herbatint brand of hair color at the best price. My brand my color too. Staff is always friendly and professional.

I could not believe how I was treated! I was wrong about a price match! That is fine. But what I did not like how the head cashier handle it! Not only she turn to the other cashier laugh and smirked in front my face. But treated me as one who causes trouble because I question that price match was not only for download app. I know, if anyone where I worked did that, we would for sure get in trouble by head office. She laugh and smirk with another cashier beside her in front my face and treated as I am a trouble maker for only questioning! I did not yell at her or got angry. But she was upset with me And she was very unprofessional! The day was September 3 at 7:30 pm. I going shop at 525 welland avenue. Not only the head cashier there handles it more professional but she would not laugh and smirk in front of you with another cashier. She is professional in everything she does! Head cashiers at marks should be trained by welland avenue No Frills.

Nice clean store, PC products but sadly forced to wait in a line of coupon clippers as I was turned away from the self checkout due to over 20 items. Anyone see a sign? Not I. Stood and looked at the empty self checkouts with 2 staff standing around waiting for people who may need bags. I can self checkout quickly so I could have been long gone. Perhaps open more checkouts?

I want to give at least 4 stars for the store. The reason why I gave 2 stars, the cashier this morning, specifically on Number 3, she has a curly black hair, wearing eyeglasses, she's not serving the customers very well. My little boy said "hi" to her several times, no response, I let it pass. She just scanned and scanned the items until the conveyors were full. Well at least wait for it to be free somehow as some of the shoppers are not fast in bagging (elderly customers ahead). If she's not happy with her job, I get that, we all have bad days, but please be considerate with elderly customers!!

Sept 27 pension day morning. One male cashier working at 8:45 am. Store was busy, lots of customers and ONE male cashier working. Three other cashiers were huddled near self service area. Lineup of 7 and growing. Put my cart in an aisle and walked out. Food Basics at 9:20 am had 4 cashiers working in n out in 20 minutes. Some grocers recognize specific dates when shoppers increase (pension day, child tax credit day, gst day, etc)

Mark and his staff are incredibly wonderful beings whom always make our journey to the grocery store a wonderful experience. Being a single parent to a wonderful 6-year-old boy whom has autism this isn't always an easy task to accomplish... But we leave with smiles on our faces every time. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. Much appreciated and forever recommended ❤️👏

Very clean, staff very friendly but unfortunately prices are so high. I know it's not just there but its sad. Looking at all the breads, beefs, chicken... are 30% off as they are all getting expired. People can not even afford the 30% marked down ones. So many people i saw that they had a list but whispering "they can't afford it ". Again i know its not just there and it is everywhere but is it fair?? All those foods are getting expired and going to waste and people are starving. Something needs to be done. Please price them down more. Let people buy it. The turn around of your money would be more. People are starving, people are homeless. Marke, i have shopped from your store for years. You are an honest and hardworking man. Please give those out. I spend over 300 today and most of it was 30% off. I used my line of credit money to pay. Some people don't even have that. Your staff are amazing. Be proud of them. Thank you

Always clean, awsom staff friendly and well stocked. Fruit and vegetables are always fresh. I definitely dont mind spending at this store. Only complaint is the price of some stuff but it seems to be every store. Over pay for what you get on some products. But vant blame the store its corporate that twlls the store what price to sell at.

Rude front end team. Cashier who rang me out was fine, I told him I’m taking the basket out to my car and I’ll bring it right back (you know the same way people do with the shopping carts), didn’t seem to have a problem with it. The other cashier on a till 3 checkouts down took it upon herself to yell at me telling me I can’t take the basket outside the store. Absolutely brutal service tonight, yelling across the store at a customer, essentially accusing them of trying to steal a basket.

Mark's No Frills is a well managed store. Great for grabbing essentials.(more selection would be nice though). Don't buy pre packaged fruit, you can't check each individual. In 2 days plums were mush. Also bring back the buggys that have 2 layers so fruit & vegetables can be separate & won't get squashed

This is a review for all grocery stores in general. The plastic bag nonsense is getting out of hand. If it was truly about the environment they would allow us to use the cardboard boxes that items are shipped in like before. This is a disgusting act of greed by large companies to maximize profit by removing staff and implementing micro transactions such as bag fees. Give free cardboard boxes to customers instead of throwing them out if you care about the environment. Shame.

I've been shopping here for several years now and the majority of cashiers are super friendly, personable and professional with the exception of ONE, whom I got today. Woman with curly black hair and glasses. No friendly greeting, didn't ask if needed bags or if I have PC Points. Just rang my items through super fast and didn't speak. I held up my PC Points barcode on my phone for her to scan and she says, "not working". That was because she bumped my phone with the terminal to pay and the barcode disappeared. I fixed it and she scanned it. Printed the receipt and still not a word from her. If this lady doesn't like her job, then maybe she should find another where she doesn't have to deal with customers. I just read another recent review mentioning this same person and how rude she was. I'll continue to shop at this store, but will definitely avoid that cashier if I see her again!

My favourite grocery store in the city. Always clean and has everything I need. Produce is better quality than most zehrs stores which shouldn't be the case.

One of the better no frills locations I have visited. Large, clean, plenty of parking, wine, selection of goods, and flyer items are usually well stocked. Refreshingly friendly and helpful staff. My go-to store in NOTL.

Very small location, nice & clean tho! It was frustrating trying to pick up my online order as I had to keep moving aside for the employees to get through. Usually, people would be trained to allow the customer to go, and then the workers can proceed. Good note: our order was ready hours early!

Why have a code for bulk items when you don't sell that item in bulk. I didn't want a whole bunch of carrots. Only needed one but was forced to pay for a full bundle.

It gets pretty busy so if your anything like me and have social anxiety then this is not the place for you! But it has amazing deals and always has every cash open unlike most other no frills in the region and the store layout it nice

Love this particular location on Lakeshore rd. The owner makes an effort to bring in fresh bulk produce. In these tough times of supply issues the shelves are more often stocked then not which is appreciated. The staff are always helpful.

Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and a wide variety of all the ingredients and meats and produce at very competitive prices. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help you with whatever your needs are. Thank you

It’s on my way home from work. If I’m looking for a great price or something that is on sale and I can actually buy (unlike other stores where sales are on things people never buy), it’s a perfect pace to stop. Easy to get around and quick at the cash. This is my go to stop for all my family’s groceries. Thanks for keeping prices in the normal space of things and stock of items that everyone needs everyday. Even the younger workers will help at anytime which you don’t regularly see.

Good store, good prices, you do see the owners around making sure the store is well organized and stocked. Shows they care. When you order online they make sure your groceries are well packed and usually leave a personal note or gift in the bag. Which is nice.

Good store good product, they dont sell expired products like certain other stores like to do, however there is an abhorrent practice of staff having to ring your bags in like you're going to steal 5 cent bags. they hold the bags for you at the self cash

Busy people can't afford to shop daily. So buying produce a day ago, and having it spoil rotten today is disappointing. Good for canned goods and frozen, but not produce.

Solid No Frills location. Their PC Express pick-up orders are always on time and all of the in store associates are super friendly and helpful.

Worst customer service received at this store today. Acting manager was rude and short. Did nothing to address my concern, but instead attacked me that I was rude. I told her her attitude towards me is what made me rude in the first place. I walked away and she was still talking back to me. Not fit to be a manager. I will not shop here again!

Prices are going up, but that's everywhere, no frills is doing their best by providing sales, non-branded items, and bulk options. Still a great place to shop.

This is the only No Frills I will go to. I come from the falls here. It is clean, organized and the staff is friendly. When I pick up my orders from on line they are always picked correctly and packaged nicely
