Great park to take the dog for a walk and do some socializing in person with real humans

Limited parking and a dusty drive, but lots of room for soccer and a baseball diamond

The signage to this park is horrible and it is accessed by a bumpy dirt road - it feels like you are not in the right place. There is parking once you get there but it is a long walk from parking area to baseball diamonds. There are no bleachers for spectators.

Would be better if it had those infield plugs for the pitching machines like those nice parks in Thorold. But I mean its a'ight. Not a home run.

it's a generally peaceful place but PLEASE DON'T GO DOWN THE TRAIL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE. I went down there on a walk and I went into this foresty area that was next to a local cemetery. On my way down I saw what looked like a grave (image below) and on my way back I heard what sounded like yelling (probably because I screamed at some rustling in the bushes next to me) and after running back out to the power lines, I started walking back and I saw a white jeep coming up from where I came from. There is a neighborhood near by but there is no way they could've gotten a car from there to where I was. I had to hide in the bushes because I thought I was gonna get kidnapped. They parked in the nearby parking lot and I think I heard that same voice after I passed it. Never going back.

I think it should be renamed Tick Leeson Park. No disrespect to the namesake. Check for dog ticks. Infield is one of the worst in the region.

Very nice, big, and well taken care of park. Great for letting your dogs run around. LOTS OF SPACE. Soccer nets amd a baseball diamond as well as biking/jogging paths.

Great park . Walking trail goes through it. Has water area for ppl to go through more kid but adults can still get wet . Has picnic tables and benches there. Has washroom facilities. There is also a library and snack bar and an indoor pool on the same property . The building it self is closed on Mondays. Very clean park.
