I use to work here. I won’t say his name but the male manager is inappropriate with the female staff, especially those who are minors. I once saw a girl who cried due to a disgusting remark he made towards her. I have also experienced his comments and actions first hand when I was 16. A few other girls I know have quit because of his behaviour. I don’t recommend supporting a business who’s owners know this is how their management treats/talks to their staff

The service was great. The staff were super friendly. Boasted to the owner, I'm assuming , about the first two hours went by really fast because they were sooooo busy! Cool. Completely grossed out that there were fruit flies literally everywhere you looked or turned. Perhaps if they weren't so busy talking about the party they went to the night before and were cleaning, it wouldn't be so disgusting. Get some fruit fly traps, Mr. owner!!

Burger underwhelming - 2 deep fried pickles that didn't cover the beef patty. Drive thru was reasonable quick.

The staff is very accommodating even if we stepped in late around 10pm, since we got busy with our schedule ( tourist😎🤣).They still welcomed us and took our orders for dine in. The burgers are so good😊 I like the onion rings and of course I got the A&W rootbeer!

we went through the drive-through the staff were very courteous and nice but they don’t have large drinks and all I wanted to ask, can I drink my drink in the parking lot it’ll take me 30 seconds come back through the drive-through then they said oh you have to come in the store which is fine I’ll come in the store but then they said oh you can’t get a refill if you come back in the store. Now if it were a two dollar drink I wouldn’t complain that much but for two medium size pops at almost 7 dollars that’s a little bit outrageous and not being able to get a refill, guys started up. Wer’e your customers not your enemies.

The guy taking my order made me drive around just because i missed the place where you placed the order. He wouldnt take my order at the window. There is no reason to not be able to do this. His excuse was because someone else was behind me. Sure, but he could have taken my order and i could have waited in the parking lot. This reflects on the negative customer experience being delivered at this a&w

I had severe food poisoning from this location last week. I do not recommend ordering the Chubby Chicken burger, I had severe nausea and developed hives from this incident. Having worked in the restaurant industry please monitor your food expiration dates better and clean your grills/fryers. The cashier was nice though

Very pleased. Staff felt that I waited longer than I should have (they had to make fresh rings so my burger and rings ended up ready at different times). So when they brought my rings to the table, they brought an apple pie as well for the delay.

Ordered delivery. When it arrived there were a few issues: 1) Gave me the wrong burger 2) Didn’t give us any dip with the sweet potato fries 3) Found a hair in the sweet potato fries 4) No straws. Would definitely recommend the Wellend Ave location over this one any day. (Ps I really hope the hair I found was at least clean)

Staff is always friendly...seems like a fun place to work. Burgers are the best and I LOVE that they don't add ice to the root beer

Great take out experience as always. The teen burgers were great and the sweet potato fries were a hit. The food came quickly and the staff was friendly. Close enough to the highway to make a pitstop.

Is this a continual problem with the management staff here. Keeps happening on multiple occasions. 3 times now. Any reason why you were already closed more than a hour before your advertised hours of operation on a Saturday and Friday night? How often does this happen? Should I consider you to be unreliable in the future? I can't support your business if you're not open when you say you will be. Oh well, your neighbour got my patronage that night instead of you.

Service sucks, especially at the drive thru. Sums it up. Food is alright I guess, but better serviced locations taste better.

Stopped in real quick to check it out and see what A&W looks like nowadays. They no longer exist in my home state in the U.S. Ordered 1 spicy chicken wrap, it was fine. Crew was nice and store was clean.

Best fast food A and W anywhere. Fast drive thru and you usually get a smile but not always ..Still the best

This was one of the friendliest and fresh a&w I've been to the food I cooked to perfection and portions are great out buddy burgers had tons of the fried onions which they should it's the whole reason I get them

We always make sure to stop here and grab some poutine whenever we visit Niagara Falls. Very friendly staff and of course, the food is good!

The pancakes are burnt. Food is expensive and my son generally liked sausage muffins but he didn't like it here . We were disappointed

Expensive and tasteless burger. Dry bun, a drop of mustard you couldn't taste. Ordered a mama burger and had to pay $1.05 to add cheese, which is often the case, but the $.25 for a slice if tomato and the same for lettuce. So an $8 waste of money. Most other places you get whatever condiments you want with no extra charge, and I've had much better, tastier fast food burgers for less! Not to mention the girl mopping the dining room floor at 7pm, with a strong smell of bleach. A little early, and she should have stopped when people ate dining in!

Walked in no one there except about 5 employees standing around talking. They were very loud at times especially the one girl. Other than that, I love my teen burger.

I had a very poor experience here today September 28th 2023 5:05pm. Other A&W restaurants supply customers with coupons. I asked if they had any coupons, the young brunette said no, you have to supply the coupons. I said other A&W restaurants I have been to supplied the coupons. The girl said kind of sarcastically, “yeah sorry we don’t do that here” I walked out and said buy, I’ll go somewhere else. It is getting TOO DAMN expensive to eat at A&W now without the coupons. A kids burger, and regular hamburger cost almost $15 for JUST the burgers nothing else. You keep raising your prices, while people’s salaries don’t raise with the hyper inflation. You keep taking advantage of your customers, people won’t come as much, or buy as much.

Great food but i had a $13 coupon and they tried to tell me with tax it was $33 Check before you pay

This is definitely my go too fast food place now as the quality of meet is noticable! Would prefer another healthier bun options. As well a better quality chicken. But all around it is where I go for something quick I'm drive through now.

A&w is my wife's favorite, not mine. It's expensive, the food is bland, and I don't like the family themed naming conventions on the menu. If you like a&w though, this is a good joint. It's very clean, the service is fast and friendly, and they don't overload their drinks with ice the way some people do.

Location and drive through age good. Fast service and good well prepared food. Meets expectations exactly.

It's commendable that A&W continues with the minimalist packaging tradition to reduce environmental impact and it also helps that their food tastes good.

This is the ONLY A&W my parents will visit. Food is very consistently delicious and always made to their exacting specifications, always fresh and yummy. Great work, and nobody beats your fountain root beer, totally the tops. Keep it up!

Amazing staff!! Went above and beyond to make my pregnant wife happy. Asked for extra pickles and they gave an extra container with even more for her. It's the little things. Very much appreciated!! Great job!!

My husband and I stopped by and thoroughly enjoyed our meals (him: Uncle Burger; me: Habanero chicken). Staff was very friendly and courteous. We got home and I realized that I had left my purse at A&W's. PANIC ATTACK!!!! I called and was very politely told that they had a purse (they had not opened it) - so I just needed to show something with my identity (used my passport) and they compared it to the identity in my wallet. MANY THANKS, A&W. You not only returned my purse to me but you reaffirmed that there are wonderful people in this world. See you soon!

This place is nice and good service and the staff is really good

Usually this location is great. And I’m a huge fan of a&w because I feel like even for fast food options, it’s still better than the alternatives. I rarely feel guilty about eating it. However, today we got a couple egg and cheeser’s and some hashbrowns for lunch. English muffins were under toasted, and since when has a&w switched back to using processed cheese? That was incredibly disappointing. Also, the hashbrowns were loaded with oil. Like it pooled at the bottom of the hashbrowns and was so saturated that it was dripping out all over everything. This is abnormal for a&w and this location so I hope this feedback can help improve things.

A&W is one of my pteferred burger joints but the Lake St location is tops in the city. The staff are all super friendly. They've never made a mistake on our orders (usually for a family of five with various substitutions). Ill always recommend A&W Lake St.

The onion rings those onion rings, there are the only thing we get from A&W but the service there is amazing has the small town feel I would recommend hands down if you never had their onion rings please go today

Manager is rude and sarcastic, racist. Like previous reviews this location is bad customer service. I love AW but avoid this location.

The morning staff today (July 23) was simply excellent. They were very professional, polite and efficient. It is a difficult job to serve so many customers so quickly but as a small business owner I recognize great work. Great work by the morning team today.

Ordered 2 Mama burger combo's the other day. Was not busy at all. No other customers in the restaurant and still the staff managed to get the order wrong. Also could the owner of this restaurant please fix the Air Conditioner. It was so hot inside and definitely did not enjoy our meals at all. I feel sorry for the staff there because they have to work in a NON air conditioned workplace.
