I was the doctors first patient this morning. This doctor didn't ask me any questions about other symptoms, didn't listen to what I told him. When I asked different questions about what could be wrong with me and advocated for myself he said that I didn't believe his diagnosis. He is also not knowledgable. Yes Dr. Crysler, you can have lichen planus manifest in your mouth. You have access to that information at your fingertips. When I looked this doctor up afterwards, I found that he faked his own death in New York and came to Canada to practice. Awesome.

My son had sudden rash and we took him to Dr John Chrysler. Waiting room was packed but we only waited for less than 20 mins. Dr. Chrysler gave a quick look and then started to write prescriptions. No explanation on potential cause or remedy. We tried to ask a few questions but he was inpatient. He does not want to spend even a few more seconds on his patients. No wonder the wait time is less. I searched his name on Google and Toronto Star article says he faked his death in NY. Not sure if that’s real. Highly suggest to go to other walk-in clinic.

I’ve been a patient of doctor Chrysler for 17 years. For being an adult, he is the worst doctor to come by. When I asked for him to recommend me to a different doctor he refused. He is extremely unprofessional and has misdiagnosed my symptoms plenty of times. Other physicians have informed me to search for a new doctor, which I currently am.

Took my 6.5 month old daughter to get her vaccinated. He was friendly but totally not interested in clarifying things for me . I asked so many questions which he just left unanswered . When it came to the vaccination he just jabbed her in a way even I would be frightened to get one . Her thighs are swollen beyond the usual range and she cannot stop crying . I have never seen someone jab a needle without even talking or playing with the kid first . And to make things worse he didn’t even sterilize the area before and after or cover it up with a band-aid. I mean these are just basic things that we shouldn’t have to ask for .

For all the 5 star reviewers .. consider your experience blessed lol I have been dealing with crysler for 23 years we gained him with our first daughter.. from the hospital when he was brand spanking new ... and I've watched and learned everything there is to know about this man ... if we can call him a man if we get down to basics we should call him a corpse since i faked his own death in the states and moved here lol and we have an ongoing family joke that we call him dr jekyll and Mr Hyde... we would come home and tell the family which version of him we get ... you see some visits go decently and others he's out in left field.....the only reason anyone should go see him..is if they know what the problem is and can just say this is the problem and i need prescription of this ... otherwise your wasting time and hurting your health.. he does not diagnose properly and causes more harm then good he has terrible mannerisms and he talks circles around things to try and confuse you and he never makes sense ... he doesnt want to fill out forms for you or your children .. he will also argue with you about whats wrong with you or your children ...he still doesnt have a clue who my family is when we come in and hes been our dr 23 years .... but hey if you just need a prescription and you already know the problem then I'd recommend due to the quickness at this place ... ;) And this is the most honest review you will find.

Brought both my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter here rather than waiting at the emergency for hours. We walked in and were in and out within half hour with proper diagnosis and treatment. After a few days of the antibiotics the kids were back to their normal selves. Doctor Chrysler was great with my son and daughter. He was straight to the point and accessed them individually and took the time to ask me questions about their symptoms etc… I’d highly recommend him after this positive experience.

Worst doctor ever. Told me I probably have cancer and to follow up with him. When all I needed was a refill of my current stomach acid pills...

If i could give no stars i would So rude to patients and gives no refills Needs beside manners asap

This rating is more for the way you operate, when service Ontario gives you your temporary health card for your new born baby from the hospital it is to be used ! If you are having a problem putting them through maybe you should be calling service Ontario and ask what you are doing wrong, used the card at his 2 day check up no issues , called the hospital and yes it is to be used and if you are getting an error you are doing something wrong.Telling a mother who just had an emergency c section 5 days ago to go to service Ontario is unacceptable. Especially when everywhere else has no issues! I felt like I was an American citizen being turned away cause I had no health insurance.

Told me I had a common cold with out checking any thing and told me to grab some cough medicine. Went to another doctor to get a second opinion and found out I had bronchitis. He also told me if I was to smoke I would be dead before im 22, I'm 25. He told a family member that he was stupid because he drinks (not heavily and not every day) and my family member called him out for the way he was practicing. He refuses to hear what people have to say about whats going on with their own body and detrmines what he thinks is wrong, also why would you trust a guy who faked his own death. I refuse to go here because of all of his mistakes, not just with me but with many people I have talked to. Plus there's better doctors in this city.

If you need an emergency service, that is fast, with security measures in times of pandemic, that is friendly, clean and with privacy, you can go to Dr. Crysler, I am very happy with him, he has cared for my son since he was born and I have been going to your office for 10 months every time my child gets sick or needs a vaccination

Dr.Crysler is one of the most brilliant children's doctor's around. He is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. Anybody assertion to anything but is absurd and just simply untrue. When you go to the mechanic because your car is loud. He tells you your breaks are sqealing because they need replaced. Do you argue that he's wrong and if he was able to make the radio louder it would fix the issue so you didn'thave to hear the squeal? , no, nor should you argue with a medical professional that has many more years of training and experience than you 🤔💁‍♂️🤦‍♂️ {side note} all negative reviews are people or maybe (a person) without profile pictures. Seems fishy that maybe if we seen what they looked like we might just second guess the validity of their review 💁‍♂️😂

Receptionist denied my 6 month old son for a appointment to check out a cough and runny nose despite being our childs pediatrician. We were given no information other than we needed to go to service Ontario and the amazing lady there told us even she was confused on what happened and she apologized for something that wasnt even her fault. The common cold can be dangerous for a baby and we only brought him in because his symptoms havnt gone away. Very disappointed in this service. Will be going back tm when there is a new receptionist.

Nice doctor, nice receptionist… Right diagnostic and treatment for my daughter. The only thing… The doctor didn’t change the disposable protector of the device to measure the temperature. Other than that is good. The doctor was very attentive.

went to this "doctor" with a severe cough and wheezing/rattling in my chest, explained to him that I have a history of bronchitis and pneumonia, asked for antibiotics and a ventolin inhaler, he tells me it's just allergies and will go away if I bathe my dog and rub dish soap bubbles from a bucket on my cat. I end up in hospital later that week with pneumonia coughing up blood......thanks "doc"

Worst doctor’s visit I ever had. Firstly, he did not introduce himself. He did not listen to what I had to say about what was going on. It sounded like he had a script written and was trying to sell the pain killer he was prescribing to me. He did not examine me and only spent about 2 minutes “consulting” me. Would not recommend him to my dog.

Recap june 28 2022 Went to my doctor's office funny he's still practicing never had his license revoked for fraudulent acts answer my question or no Crysler. Came to get paperwork filled out that I get filled out every single year. Chrysler accuses my doctor of losing his license for forging these documents funny got my documents signed at a different office today and still did not have to go see a specialist as requested by Chrysler in order for me to get these forms filled out??. My doctor had a surgery done and will be returing wish there was a zero star and thank you for the stress add today. But I guess for not seeing a specialist about my stress I don't have stress and to find out theres a news paper article that has his pic about facking his death.

Since my children were young to adult. We have sworn by dr Chrysler as the most compassionate and educated physician in Ontario

Dr Chrysler is the best doctor ever! He always makes things simple. Over my years of youth, he never made anything scary for me. Just smooth and simple. I would 100% recommend him to everyone in the world. His past may not be the best, but we all have our differences and secrets, and sometimes, they can be exposed to the outside world. But we are all brothers and sisters in the end.

Great Doctor with excellent knowledge and care

Dr. Crysler figured out why I was suffering debilitating headaches for many years and I have been free of headaches since. I'm very grateful for his knowledge and always appreciate his great service.

Takes his time to hear us and explain things thoroughly, doesn't give out antibiotics unnecessarily like all the other walk in clinics, and sends for testing only when necessary. Our whole family has seen him for the last year and have been happy thus far.

We have seen Dr Crysler on many occasions both as our son's paed as well as walk in. He has always been cordial and understanding. Dr Crysler can seem a bit aloof but he is listening to your issue. Wait times are usually minimal.

We were referred to Dr Crysler by our family doctor on scott street. Since we started visiting Dr Crysler, my kid kept getting sick, multiple times fever, multiple ear infections... my kid went through all kind of antibiotics until one day I did the check up for both of us at his office and noticed he used the same thermometer on my kid and me without changing the tip or even sanitizing it. The thermometer came out of his pants pockets... we even had covid both of us from this office... Since we stopped visiting Dr Crysler my kid got back to normal. if your kid keeps getting fever, having ear infections... please take a video of Dr Crysler on how he uses his thermometer and send it to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario... He is more spreading germs than treating patients... getting people more sick for more cash...

this guy is good only to renew my meds other than that he does nothing for you and does as little as possible to get by the day dont expect him to fill out forms or do anything productive ...hes completely useless

Was super kind and quick with my three old’s emergency visit due to ongoing fever. Has a kind and patient vibe to him. Def going back here (unfortunately kids always get sick).

Doesn't greet you, got a vaccine and he didn't use gloves or swab my arm or anything, didn't wrap up and say we're all done he just left. Very strange interaction, the whole environment made me feel very uncomfortable.

My daughter's and I have had Dr Chrysler for well over 10 years. One of my daughter's is special needs and he has been a tremendous help. I would recommend him.

this place shouldn’t even be open. my son came here for his circumcision i thought it would be fine until he didn’t let me stay in the room for the procedure, he took a good 20 minutes and i heard my son crying the whole time from the waiting room, he was inconsolable after coming home for the day.. after that he gave us {expired} tylenol and sent us home. i wish i never came here or trusted him. before that he told me that giving my son similac formula it would lower his IQ . someone needs to take his license away. all of those 5 star reviews are definitely from fake accounts he made

I took my 8yo daughter to see him. He avoided making eye contact. He kept the door of the room open all the times, zero privacy. He began to examine my daughter without asking or warning her, he did not ask about her health history, he interrupted me when I spoke to him. It was a very unpleasant experience. Very unprofessional doctor.

Took my daughter here after her dad took her weeks prior for very high fever, said it was nothing. Went back 3 weeks later of her having consistent 103+ fever, he said nothing, then looked at me like I was crazy and said it’s impossible for her to have a fever that long… said not to worry about it just mild mild rsv. Not even a few hours later that night I had to rush her by ambulance to the hospital for her not being able to breathe and a fever of 105. Turned out she was misdiagnosed, and it was bad case of croup. Not sure if I’ll be returning…. Was a very scary experience.
