YunMei has changed my life. Her compassion, knowledge, and skills have been absolutely transformative for my mental health. I started working with YunMei when I was at my lowest and experiencing symptoms of mental illness that I had never experienced. After one treatment I felt tremendously better. It’s hard to explain the effects- mental clarity, boosted mood, and just an overall lightness. I found that doing tasks I struggled to do before became less daunting. I have been seeing YunMei for a few months now and I just look forward to my appointments very much. She inserts the needles, turns down the lights, and let’s you relax for an hour. I like to put on a podcast or calming music. The hour is absolute bliss and I leave feeling so restored. Her treatments have also been so helpful for monthly pain and symptoms. I highly recommend this Clinic! I've experienced 3 appointments of my own so far (over the course of 3 weeks) and have gone with my Mother for one of her treatments. Yun Mei Shao is a wonderful and experienced practitioner and MD (China). I've found that the Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Fire Needle treatments (×2) Shao has given have completely changed the quality of my life. I'm having such peaceful sleep in comparison to before and notice much more flexibility in my joints and my skin barrier is about 80% stronger already (I am prone to eczema on face and palms). The fire needle treatments have made a wart on my foot much smaller and I feel that it will heal very soon. Dr.Shao is very knowledgeable and experienced, however clinic has a bad smoke smell. Not sure if someone is smoking cigarettes inside but the odour is very strong and not at all good for me while having to stay in my session for 45mins and breathing in the second hand smoke is terrible. Please get rid of the smoke smell and allow fresh air in.

I had acne problems for a few years and most of my acne got cleared up after several acupuncture treatments which I am very pleased with. The acupuncturist Shao is also very knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend anyone with acne problems to try acupuncture from this clinic.

Attended several sessions because I lost both taste and sense of smell due to covid. After the 5th session I started to be able to very faintly smell certain things and my taste has come back slowly. It has been a couple of months since I have had treatment and my sense of smell and taste continues to improve, I truly believe that acupuncture helped "kickstart" these senses after waiting with no luck for nearly a year. I highly recommend trying this if you have been lost taste/smell due to covid, wonderful doctor and staff and clinic, thank you!

She clarified what I was looking for, gave me some feedback and made a suggestion on a comparable supplement. My mother couldn't sleep well due to shoulder pain, I took her to Shao's clinic for treatment, with only 2 treatment, her pain was gone. Shao is an amazing Acupuncturist!

Very good acupuncturist, however I was surprised at the end of my visit when she charged me an additional $30 assessment fee which I was not expecting because her husband couldnt find my file. So they charged me for a new assessment, even though she did not take my pulse, ask for dietary history, stool movement or palpate my body which is what a practioner is supposed to do.

Dr. Yun Mei Shao is a compassionate, experienced and highly trained TCM specialist. She made a huge positive impact on my overall health; mind and body. I highly recommend her to treat others and urge them to have an open mind with a different but exceptional form of Eastern medicine. We are lucky to have her in our area as she is a master in her discipline; highly trained and educated. Very positive and exceptional treatment and experience.

Best acupuncture in the area. Back in the fall I was suffering from severe headaches and jaw pain. After only a handful of treatments I was pain free. It's now been 10 months and I still don't have any symptoms like it did. I would highly recommend going here!!!

i first met Sally some years ago when I attended her clinic for a neck ailment. After 5 treatments the pain was gone. I returned to her a short time later with a heel spur and again after only a few treatments, that problem was solved. I have just finished treatment for a sore shoulder. I could not raise my arm above my waist but after 10 treatments I can now raise my arm over my head. I am so pleased with the treatments and I would definitely return if any other ailments should arise. I highly recommend Shao's acupuncture clinic for both the treatments, the atmosphere and the wonderful staff.

Dr. YunMei Shao is a very friendly, smart, and caring woman with great skill in acupuncture and TCM. I have been seeing YunMei as a patient now for 5 weeks with great results in relation to my digestive health. I have sensitive digestion and I am surprised by how quickly I have noticed improvements with acupuncture, moxibustion, and Chinese herbal formulas. YunMei is very good at piecing together symptoms and coming up with a treatment plan that treats the whole body in a gentle but effective way. Shao has been treating me for anxiety for a few weeks now. After the first treatment, I already felt 50% better and my hands stopped shaking. By the fourth treatment, I felt 80-90% better. Yun Mei really knows her stuff! Dr. Shao is a knowledgeable medical professional and skilled acupuncturist. I am personally in shock how much and how quickly acupuncture and traditional medicine can help. In order to keep the income coming, doctors always assured their patients well-being and good health. I also learned how traditional Chinese medicine doctors can diagnose a lot of health issues based on your tongue, pulse, etc. I truly appreciate having dr. I have chronic shoulder and neck pain and in the last year I developed sciatic pain down my right leg making it very difficult go for walks or hiking. Since I started seeing Dr. Shao my shoulders and neck are much less painful and I can walk with a lot more ease. I highly recommend acupuncture and am moxibustion.

Hi there, my name is Ruicheng! I really like to share my experience with Shao’s acupuncture. I had spinal cord injured had an operation! The surgery was very successful the pain was released. however I could not pass water naturally at all and also having a very bad bowel movement that mean I couldn’t go toilet for more than one week even I took medicine every day. So because my horsetail nervous system was injured It’s not just affecting my bladder and bowel movements but also my Sciatic nerve my right side rear throw my right leg to right foot are all numb I couldn’t walk properly! After I sent home did everything the doctor told me to do the Rehabilitation the stairs practice. After two months and half there was nothing coming back and nothing seems coming back to me. Still self-catheterization 5/6 times and bowel movements medicine every day. Than one day from a friends doctor said to my wife that I should try the acupuncture it should help very much. This is where I started seeing doctor Shao. Long story short I went Shao’s acupuncture three times a week with her great skills and careful treatment after a few months there I started pass out water myself and not using bowel movements medicine very much.
