    Love showcase in pen center.🌸.First time been in that store on my bday aug4🥳 found my hellokittys and loved it the manager and cashier where awesome great service will be back to buy more amazing stuff 🦄🥰

    I used to shop at a show case before but after yesterday when they acted like I was doing something bad to them I'm never going back there to shop again I was there at the pen centre and trying to support my friend with her party that she is keep I told one of the girl in the store what I wanted to do for my friend and she told me no which is fine beacuse I take no for any answer I'm not the type of person to create problems or any thing like that the other young lady that was in the store asked her worker what I wanted she told her and for some reason the lady went around the desk and called the security on me this was the first time someone did this to me but let me tell you something you can never stop a child of God that was very disrespectful and I felt like I wanted to cry. I really miss the showcase in Barrie they are the best.

    I came here 2 weeks before Christmas and was looking at the newborn dolls for a Christmas gift for our daughter. I asked for assistance because I didn’t realize at first how to correctly read their boxes as it had pictures and names/ages of several dolls on each box and the manager jumped in to “help.” The first doll I bought was Baby Emma, which she assured me was weighted, as I said that is what I was looking for. I got home, opened the box a couple days later to find that the Emma doll is not weighted. So I brought it back to exchange it, in which I again asked for assistance, but from a different staff member. I pointed out that dolls were also in the wrong boxes, there were NON weighted dolls in weighted boxes.. so cheaper dolls in the more expensive boxes. The manager jumped in and interrupted to ask “what is it you’re looking for” in a rude tone. I said “a weighted doll” and she pointed to the same UNweighted dolls (the same one I bought LAST time that I was currently there to return). I said “no, those aren’t weighted. Im looking for the one currently on display,” and she snapped back with “we’re out of them.” … I then moved a couple boxes around and found several of them right there on the shelf. What is with the attitude? I wasn’t going to leave a review, but a month after Christmas and I’m still thinking about how poorly the manager handled this whole interaction.

    Absolute trash, went there bought a squid game biscuit tin so I could play the game with my son, walked out the door 10 steps and opened it. It was broken, so I returned it and was told they don’t take “food” back. I will never shop here again and I hope you don’t either.

    Showcase has a wonderful selection of everything you didn’t know you needed! Also for those cool things you see in TV and absolutely have to have! I recommend stopping here before shopping on Amazon, could save you some time waiting and will definitely save you money! Laura the manager and Stephanie the assistant manager are both extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful! They know about the products and can speak on reviews from their own experience and customers they have heard from. These ladies deserve a raise! All in all a wonderful stop if you’re by the Pen Centre in St. Catharines! Service and Products 5/5 Stars, well done ladies!

    I went to this store on Feb 15 around 3pm. The woman working there was very rude and condescending to me. I wanted to take a product out of the box and see how it felt in person and she rudely interrupted me saying that she would have to “quarantine” the product if I touched it. If I wanted to buy a product based on the picture on the box, I would’ve just bought it online. It’s a showcase store, where people come in and see and feel the products in person! I liked the product and was going to buy it. Because she was rude to me, they lost on a $60 sale and I’m definitely not going here again if I see her working. If she continues to treat people like that, I’m sure their products would be quarantined forever!

    The store was fully stocked which was nice and we also enjoyed looking at all the new products. They had a lot of the gimmicky stuff you see online. I do find them to be pricy for the quality of items you get there but my review is based strictly on our interaction with the staff. I wasn't expecting to kiki in the back room but a simple hello, a smile or acknowledgement of any kind would have been nice. There was nothing, we didn't exist.

    The manager Laura is very friendly and helpful! She makes sure to let me know about all the sales going on and helps hold the stuff I'm planning to buy while I shop 😊 However, they took my name and number down to call me about an item on Wednesday, it's now Friday and still no call... guess they won't be getting back to me

    Laura is legit AWESOME she’s so nice! She is the best for getting you anything you need even before it hits the floor. I’m a die hard squishmallow collector and anytime i’m DISO she has my back. 10/10 everytime i’m there. I love her:)

    Victoria was very helpful today , strong knowledge in her field . Must be a manager at least presented her self well enough to be one . The wife and I came in for an item and was given the perfect amount of gratitude. Well done Show Case for hiring someone who knows there stuff. Definitely will be back .

    I was at this store November 8th 2021. I did some shopping at the pen and every store I went into had either asked for my email,cell phone # or postal code. NOT FOR CONTACT TRACING! When I went into this store they wanted me to sign up so I can get a deal on there products. How society is and become I wouldn't want anyone that I don't know to have my cell # or email. If I didn't give them my email or cell I pay full price. As I was talking to another customer they threatened to call security. Yet this lady was making comments herself I think and believe that we shouldn't have to give our email address or cell number if we feel we shouldn't. I don't think we should be forced. Again this had nothing to do with contact tracing. Other stores when you politely declined still gave you the deals and understood. If not mistaken there a consumer protection act that guarantees the lowest price. I will be making a complaint with BBB. I don't think people should have or be able to hear your cell number for safety reasons. Even more so females.

    This place is great!! The staff IS ALWAYS amazing so professional and cares more about the actual customer then just pushing a product. My daughter suffers with severe social anxiety and the staff member Lauren always goes up and beyond. She really is wonderful at her job as well as a great human. Never have had an issue with them helping me find gifts for others or just things I might enjoy myself. 200/10 would and will ALWAYS shop at this store.

    My favourite store to shop at for the whole family. The stuff is extremely nice and excited about sharing products with me. I like how everything is modelled on display so you can see how it works. The girl with the red hair showed me how things work and helped me pick out the best (Dr Ho’s) product to buy for my husbands back problems. And I picked up the best makeup I’ve ever used there too. I always find COOL things for my kids at the best prices. If you’re looking for a gift for anyone...this is the place to go. Thanks guys!

    This store is so cool. I've never tried a hoverboard before and the people that work there were nice enough to allow me to try out for the first time. The staff there are super friendly and bondable people and they really seem to like their job.

    Terrible customer service accused my kids of stealing The manager was not there and over the phone was trying to explain something he did not witness. He stated cursing and told me to leave the store because I was not going to listen to his explanation of an incident he did not witness. They confronted young children and accused them of stealing called security and discovered that they had taken nothing and returned to the store to make a purchase. They do not have working store cameras not does the security at the pen so they could accuse anyone of stealing and confront them without proof.

    This shaver is NOT as seen on TV. Not worth the moneys spent. Now, if you like a something tearing at your low beard, then this is a great buy for you, and the actual shaver did very little. Enjoy

    I bought a beard straightener on February 15. It's been about 37 days and it won't charge anymore. It only lasted for maybe five (incredibly slow) charges. The return policy says 30 days, so I'm out $60.

    Well, the cashiers were more interested in the electric skater board thing-a-ma-jig, than serving customers. The female was satisfactory, but their clothes didn't look professional. They looked like street clothes, not work clothes. And I'm supposing the African American was in training, I'm assuming?

    Amazing experience! Mike and Jake were both incredible. Both extremely honest and willing to explain a multitude of different products to both myself and my wife. We ended up grabbing a few items we didn't even know Showcase carried, but are pumped that we did! We just came to grab a couple of candles, but are stoked with our whole purchase. Definitely coming back. Thanks guys!

Pretty disappointing when someone uses the fact your child is right beside you asking you for the dam thing and as a parent you feel bad if you don't get it. We have all been there as parents. Today I brought the item back in store and she starts to explain there needs to be a manufactor defect. Lol then tried to hand me a warranty guide. Well she never said any of this when she first made the sale. Never handed me an extended warranty paper explaining it and what not or else I would have no purchased it. Defiently be getting a hold of head office. I've spend hundreds of dollars here and the fact I was going to return the candy machine then spend the gift card in their store! Greedy people!

    Purchased a shark onesie for our daughter. My wife was concerned about figuring out what size would be needed . The manager stated that she had one and it was a medium and fit her with lots of room to spare . The manager also assured us that if it didn’t for we would have no problems exchanging for different size or returning for store credit. The onesie was not even close to fitting and when we tried to exchange the manger denied that she had told us we could exchange. She repeated very snottily while showing on the receipt that certain items were final sale and this was one of them. At no time were we ever verbally told of this policy for final sales and none of their products are labelled or marked for final sale . The customer has no knowledge of this policy until after the sale is made should they read the receipt and know the code system, (as the manager lies and says exchange is possible to ensure making the sale). I also found the manager to be very rude and obnoxious as she threatened to call security on me for stating that I would exercise my right to file a grievance with Better Business Bureau . Needless to say my family will never shop at this location again .

    Be very careful. These people are cash Hungry and are not honest people. Take my word for this. You do not want to shop there. I bought an item at showcase in the pen centre location in Niagara. After buying a not very cheap item, they asked if I wanted to get an extended 3 year warranty for $20. I agreed. I was also told, I do not need my receipt because they put it into my file, she assured me i definitely do not need my receipt and that it would be safe in my file for 3 years if I needed it and if I did not have my paper receipt, that there would be no issue upon returning the purchased item. She said, if I wanted/had to return it at anytime for whatever reason, my extended $20 3 year warranty would be covered and on my file and I would NOT need my receipt. So I literally brought the item home, used it for 5 minutes, and it blew. I was let down but i remembered she said I have nothing to worry about and because I bought a 3 year warranty for an added $20 , I had nothing to worry about. Brought the garbage item I bought brand new (this store is loaded with cheap overpriced trash) to the same lady , asked for my cash back because it doesn’t work and I wasn’t happy with the product. She asked me for a receipt I said I don’t have one, I bought the 3 year warranty and was assured I didn’t need my paper one. She was being really rude and telling me I’m the one that’s rude, maybe I was a little upset sounding because she promised me I didn’t need a receipt but we’re arguing about it .. Like, how do you do that to people as a business? Promise them they have a receipt on their file, that they paid for and there would be nothing to worry about upon doing a return, but 3 days later you Arrive with no paper receipt, because you were told you would be covered on file, and they still deny you?? How grimey is that? Pretty low, no?! Maybe they can explain in better detail the small print they never tell you about. Crooks…… NOPE!!!!! You have to take the L, they are actual scum in my eyes. Zero star rating for these awful people. I highly recommend you save your money , and receipts…….. They lie , for $$ . Greedy , greedy, losers
